Rejection Therapy for Christians: Overcome Fear and Share Jesus
Are You More Afraid of Rejection Than You Are Burdened for the Lost? How many times has the Holy Spirit prompted you to say something to a person, and fear immediately began supplying reasons to stay quiet? We tell ourselves we do not want to be awkward. We do not want to interrupt. We do not want someone to think we are strange. Underneath all of that is often one plain fear: What if they reject me? That fear has kept many believers from sharing Jesus. We can attend church, listen to sermons, post a verse online, and still avoid the people in front of us who need the gospel.
