Five Prophetic Words!

What if the most profound spiritual breakthrough of your life was hidden behind a simple, five-word sentence you didn't even know you were going to speak? I want you to imagine sitting in a car, parked in a gravel lot under the sweltering Florida sun. Your stomach is churning with a knot of anxiety so tight it feels like a physical ailment. You’ve driven an hour to get to a church you don’t want to visit, to see a people you don't know, because you’re convinced God told you to be there.

The pain point many of us face is the "Why, Lord?" syndrome. We follow a nudge from the Holy Spirit, we step out in faith, and instead of a red carpet, we find a broken-down car, direct hits from hurricanes, and a series of events that look like anything but a "blessing." We feel foolish, we feel unheard, and we wonder if we just hallucinated the whole leading.

If you’ve ever felt like your obedience was leading you straight into a brick wall, I have a message for you today. Sometimes the supernatural doesn't look like a mountain-top experience; sometimes it looks like a series of Egyptian plagues. But there is a reason for the turmoil, and there is a "Goshen" separation coming. Today, I want to take you through a crazy, awesome journey that taught me about the reality of "Quantum Christianity" and why five words spoken with understanding are worth more than a lifetime of noise.

Confirmations and the Conflict of the Will

Years ago, God started dealing with me about going to Florida. Now, I didn't want to go. My family definitely didn't want me to go. But the confirmations were coming in like a flood. I’m the kind of guy who keeps a prayer list on my wall—much like the one you might see behind me in my videos. Back then, I would get on my knees every single day and pray through that list, and on the side, I’d jot down the confirmations.

One day, I finally "tempted" God. I asked for something so specific as a final sign, and to my surprise, He did it. I was caught. I had to go. It reminds me of what Paul said about preaching: "For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me." (1 Corinthians 9:17 KJV). Sometimes, the highest form of walking in the spirit is doing the thing you really don't want to do.

I packed up and headed to Florida, and let me tell you, as soon as I crossed that state line, it was like the book of Exodus came to life. My car broke down. I faced one tribulation after another. I was looking at my life thinking, "Lord, I’m called to be here, so why is everything falling apart?" It was exactly like the Israelites in Egypt. Before the plague of the lice, the children of Israel in Goshen experienced a lot of the same turmoil as the Egyptians. They were in the middle of the mess until God made a clear distinction.

Watching TV in the Spirit

While the physical world was falling apart, something supernatural was happening in my spirit. My "words of knowledge" ramped up to a level I had never experienced. It was like I was watching TV in the spirit 24 hours a day. I couldn't shut it off. Everywhere I went, I was picking up on what was happening in the spiritual realm around people.

Now, we have to make a distinction here. Prophetic ministry is often seen as "forth-telling"—predicting a future event. That happens, but it’s rare. Words of knowledge, however, are a hundred times more prevalent. It’s when God reveals something about a person’s present or past that you couldn't possibly know.

I often say it’s like "spiritual body odor." You can smell it. You pick it up. But you have to discern the source. Information can come from four places:

  1. God can reveal it to you.
  2. Demons can share it (this is how psychics often operate).
  3. It can be a lie generated from your own heart.
  4. It can come from the person’s thoughts in their heart.

In Florida, God was flooding me with His information. He wanted me at a specific church, and even though my stomach hurt every time I pulled into that parking lot, I kept showing up.

The Scene at the Altar: Quantum Christianity

One Sunday, I was hiding in the back of the sanctuary. I just wanted to be alone, but the pastor’s wife—a woman who sat at the piano—saw me. She didn't just wave; she literally ran from the piano all the way to the back of the church to greet me. "Hi, I'm Conrad," I muttered, hoping she’d let me stay in my corner.

By the fourth or fifth visit, the atmosphere changed. The presence of God was tangible—the kind of anointing you can feel in your bones. These people weren't shy; they actually grabbed my hands and pulled me toward the front. They told me, "You need to talk to the pastor while he’s anointed!"

I found myself standing in front of this man, and out of my mouth came the most unexpected question: "Dude, tell me about this Quantum Christianity."

In quantum physics, the normal rules of the world don't apply. Gravity, distance, time—everything behaves differently. The pastor started talking about how, in the spirit, the normal way of doing things is discarded. He was mid-sentence, saying something about "your brain in..." and suddenly, I was in the spirit.

Being in the spirit is often like a dream; you don't always remember every detail afterward. But I remember this. I opened my mouth and five words came out that had no business being in my conscious mind:

"Your brain or your mind."

I gave the word, I went home, and I thought, "Well, that was weird." I had no idea the trial was just beginning.

Personal Reflections

Shortly after that encounter, the hurricanes started. Hurricane Wilma hit, knocking out my electricity for two weeks. I was sitting there in the dark, through the Katrina year—and yes, Katrina hit Florida before it ever hit New Orleans. Everything I had built seemed to be dissolving. I eventually "turned tail" and went to Houston.

The moment I left Florida, my gifts of the spirit plummeted. The "TV" went blank. I was on my knees crying out, "God, why did you send me through all that tribulation just to give a five-word sentence?"

He reminded me of my own prayers. Every morning during my prayer time, I used to pray: "Lord, let me do more with five words than people do in a lifetime." I didn't even know why I was praying it, but the Spirit was praying through me. He gave me exactly what I asked for. Those five words—"Your brain or your mind"—were the key to understanding the "Quantum" shift from carnal thinking to spiritual revelation.

I missed it because I was looking for the "great thing," the big platform, or the easy life. I had to be corrected to realize that the supernatural is often found in the small, obedient steps that defy our logic. Biblical References

The core of this experience is rooted in 1 Corinthians 14:19. Paul writes, "Yet in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that by my voice I might teach others also, than ten thousand words in an unknown tongue." (KJV). There is a power in simplicity when it is backed by the anointing.

We also see this theme of separation in Exodus. God tells Moses to tell Pharaoh to let His people go, but the plagues start affecting everyone at first. It’s only later that God says, "And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end thou mayest know that I am the Lord in the midst of the earth." (Exodus 8:22 KJV).

This mirrors the call in the last days: "And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues." (Revelation 18:4 KJV). We are called to a spiritual separation—a "Goshen" state of mind where we are in the world but not partaking of its carnal systems.

Key Takeaways

  • Confirmations aren't always for "Easy Street": Sometimes God confirms a path specifically because He knows the tribulation will be high and you'll need the memory of those signs to keep going.
  • Words of Knowledge vs. Prophetic: Words of knowledge are everyday tools for the believer to "smell" what is happening in the spirit and minister effectively.
  • The Power of the Will: Preaching or serving "against your will" is often where the dispensation of the Gospel is most powerful.
  • Quantum Christianity: Walking in the spirit means the "normal" rules of carnal logic don't apply. You have to choose between your carnal brain and your spiritual mind.

Conclusion and Call to Action

God is looking for people who are willing to drive an hour, sit in a parking lot with a stomach ache, and speak five words that don't make sense to their "brain" but make perfect sense in the "spirit." The supernatural life isn't about being comfortable; it's about being obedient.

Are you experiencing a "Katrina" season where everything is falling apart? Don't turn tail and run like I did at first. Stay in Goshen. Wait for the separation. And keep your heart open to those few, simple words God wants to speak through you.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. Have you ever had a "five-word" moment where God used something small to do something huge? Leave a comment below and let's talk about it.

Action Items

  • Audit Your Confirmations: If you are in a season of trial, go back to your journals. Re-read the ways God confirmed your current path to remind yourself that He is still in control.
  • Practice Discerning the Source: When you get a "gut feeling" or a piece of information about someone, ask the Lord: "Is this from You, a demon, or my own heart?"
  • Pray for Understanding: Don't just pray for more "gifts." Pray like Paul, to speak words with understanding that can actually teach and change others.
  • Check Your Mindset: Identify one area where you are relying on your carnal "brain" (logic/fear) instead of your spiritual "mind" (faith/revelation).
