Ministry Spotlight with Jill Dyson - Angel Street Ministries #CWC

 Angel Street: Empowering Memphis Girls

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Jill Dyson on my podcast, Coffee with Conrad. Jill is an accomplished singer-songwriter from Memphis with a passion for faith, family, music and philanthropy.

During our conversation, Jill shared how her song "Carry the Light" was inspired by Philippians 2:15 and encapsulates her mission to bring hope and the love of Jesus to the city of Memphis, especially through her involvement with Angel Street Ministry.

Angel Street Ministry focuses on mentoring and empowering young girls in some of the poorest neighborhoods of North Memphis. Jill explained how it started with leading a children's choir for a women's ministry Christmas event. The girls were so engaged and excited that it grew into an ongoing program providing music education, mentoring, and connecting the girls to opportunities to develop their talents and leadership potential.

Jill shared moving stories of the transformative impact Angel Street has had on girls in the program, like Jasmine and Terrian, who have blossomed into confident young leaders. Jill's love for Memphis and its people shines through. As she put it, "I can be a part of their lives and have a lifelong journey with them where we become family, we become friends."

My biggest takeaway from this inspiring interview is that one person, fueled by faith and compassion, can make a profound difference in a community. Jill Dyson is a shining example of what it means to "carry the light" and spread hope, one life at a time. I encourage you to learn more about Jill's music and Angel Street Ministry at JillDyson.com.

America's Awakening - The time is NOW

The Coming Wave of Revival and True Worship in America

I believe we are on the cusp of a great spiritual awakening in our nation. In recent days, God has been speaking to me and many others through visions, dreams and confirmations that a wave of revival is coming, and He is calling His people back to true worship.

It started for me during Sunday worship, when I saw a vision of an eagle being released and trying to soar, but it had grown fat and sluggish. To my dismay, it even began to resemble a turkey. I believe this represents the state of much of the American church - we have lost our prophetic edge and fire, growing complacent in our comfort and prosperity. The enemy has tried to steal our true worship, exchanging it for mere entertainment.

But the story is not over! In the midst of this, I saw another vision of an evergreen tree, with candles and flames gathering to it from every direction. I believe this tree is a symbol of the coming revival that will restore us. Amazingly, others have been having similar dreams and visions about this "Appeal to Heaven" movement, harkening back to the flag George Washington flew during our nation's founding. Our only hope is to turn back to God!

"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." (John 4:23)

God is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth in this hour. Not entertainment or performance, but deep, authentic worship. When we do this, like Paul and Silas in prison, we will see chains broken and a great release of God's power!

I believe the eagle will soar again and America will see another Great Awakening as we return to our foundation of faith. The wave is coming - it's time to get on our knees in fervent worship and catch the mighty move of God's Spirit that is on the way! Will you join me? Let's appeal to Heaven together!

Breakthrough Worship: Unleashing God's Presence

When Praise Precedes the Victory

In a recent prophetic vision during worship, God spoke to me emphatically about the importance of restoring true, breakthrough worship. This message is being confirmed by many Christian leaders as well.

In the vision, I saw a person breaking out of a chrysalis or pupa, struggling against the cocoon, in order to freely worship God. This symbolizes breaking out of restraints to worship in spirit and truth, as Jesus teaches in John 4:23-24. The Father is seeking those who will worship Him this way.

The Bible gives powerful examples of "breakthrough worship" that we can learn from:

- In Acts 16, Paul and Silas worshipped God while in chains in prison. Suddenly, an earthquake shook the prison, the doors flew open, and their chains fell off. Their worship brought a miraculous jailbreak!

- In 2 Chronicles 20, when a vast army threatened Judah, King Jehoshaphat put the worshippers on the front lines of battle. As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the enemy armies, and they were defeated without Judah even fighting.

These stories teach us the power of wholehearted, truth-filled worship. When we worship God in the midst of darkness and struggle, breakthrough comes. Worship ushers in God's presence and power in seemingly impossible situations.

So in this hour, God is calling His people to go beyond half-hearted religious exercise, and press in to experience His presence through fervent worship. Even when you feel "stuck in a cocoon" or up against an army of problems, make the choice to exalt God. Lift your voice in praise, turn your attention to His splendor and might, recall His past faithfulness. As you do, expect the Spirit to break you out of restraints into new freedom and victory!

Breakthrough worship brings the kingdom of God crashing into your circumstances. So let's respond to this prophetic call. Whatever midnight hour or battle you face, make it your time to worship. Get desperate for God's glory and determine to praise Him until the chains break and the enemy flees. That's how we lay hold of the breakthroughs Jesus purchased for us.
