Victory and Peace for the Saints!

I am excited because i get to share a positive vision.

I received this vision tonight during corporate prayer.

Vision:

I saw two hands pounding furiously against black billowing clouds in the heavenly realm.  Then one hand turned to me and signified the peace sign.

I had some accompanying scriptures with the vision.

1Co 9:26  I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

The Lord reminded me of the history of the  peace sign as i looked up the accompanying scriptures.

The V sign was in use during the Second World War by the resistance.   The symbol started going viral in 1941 and people  all over Europe began using this sign prophesying a future victory.   As this sentiment gathered steam people were so emboldened that they chalked large V's o the side of German Tanks.  Some of us remember that Winston Churchill popularized the V for victory sign.

This V sign was  a prophecy of a future victory given to people currently in a furious battle.  The resistance saw this Victory sign as a  hope of a better tomorrow where the current evil would finally be overthrown.   They looked past their current struggle to the day that their affliction would turn into victory. This victory would finally turn into peace.

Victory DID happen.  Victory DID turn into PEACE.

For those of you going through brutal struggles right now, the spiritual warfare you are waging is not in vain.  We are not beating against the air like shadow boxers, but we are beating up on principalities, powers, and rulers of darkness in this world through the Mighty Name of Jesus.

You may be in the struggle of your life right now, doing spiritual battle through praise, worship,  and intercession.   God is promising Victory and Peace.

The struggle isn't over.  Fight with all your might.  Victory and Peace are on the other side of this struggle.

How long must this spiritual warfare be waged?

It can be summed up in the words of Winston Churchill in his 1941 speech to Harrow School:

"Never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, give up. Never give up. Never give up. Never give up."
