Coffee with Conrad - Interview with Renegade Redeemed!

Finding God Through Hip-Hop with Renegade Redeemed

This week on Coffee With Conrad, I had the opportunity to chat with Renegade Redeemed, a former hip-hop artist turned Christian rapper and founder of Forever Redeemed Ministries. Let me tell you, it was an inspiring conversation.

Renegade, as he prefers to be called, wasn't always the man of God he is today. He described his past heavily influenced by the hip-hop culture, filled with drugs, alcohol, and a desire to emulate the rappers he admired.

But in 2009, everything changed. His father, struggling with addiction, attended a church program and emerged a new man. Witnessing this transformation, a young Renegade felt a call to God and surrendered his life to Christ.

This newfound faith completely reshaped his music. Instead of glorifying the sinful lifestyle he once lived, Renegade turned to Christian hip-hop, using his music as a tool to spread the word of God.

Forever Redeemed Ministries, an outreach program he founded, is another way Renegade fulfills his mission. He and his team hit the streets, organize events, and use music to connect with others, particularly the younger generation.

One of the things that struck me most was Renegade's emphasis on the Bible. He reads it constantly, considering it the true word of God. He shared how important it is to not just listen to sermons in church, but to actively engage with scripture and allow it to guide your life.

His passion for sharing the gospel was truly infectious. He spoke about the importance of witnessing, of using our talents and platforms to spread the message of God's love and redemption.

If you're looking for a dose of inspiration, I highly recommend checking out Renegade Redeemed's music and Forever Redeemed Ministries. His story is a powerful testament to the transformative power of God's grace, and his music is a powerful tool for spreading the word.

Remember, as Renegade says, God is real, and he loves you. Don't miss your chance to experience the life-changing power of faith.

The Prophetic Blanket: A Call to Awaken the Church

Urgent Message for the Church!

I feel an urgent need to convey a weighty message that the Lord has placed upon my heart.

In a recent prophetic vision, I witnessed a blanket covering our area. Woven into this blanket was a web, symbolizing the internet. I believe God's intent is to blanket this region with His presence and Revelation, exposing the workings of darkness and revealing His sovereign plan.

The Lord has spoken to me, saying, "I will quell the voice of the enemy." A candle, almost fallen to the ground, represents a disjointed relationship between the church and the flame of God's Spirit. I urge us as Believers to heed the Lord's admonition to speak forth words of encouragement and discernment to those we encounter.

Within the vision, I observed a white-haired woman wearing a white gown, possibly representing a Jezebel spirit masquerading as an angel of light. Revelation 2:5 warns us to remember and repent of our fallen state.

Furthermore, I saw angelic beings spiraling down over our area in response to our prayers and worship. God is calling us to unite in this region, building a honeycomb of relationships and sharing our gifts and callings with boldness and wisdom.

Let us not confine Jesus to an alabaster box of religion. He desires to be released into our lives and ministries. I encourage us all to live outside our comfort zones, sharing words of encouragement and guidance to others. Our obedience will unlock the potential of those around us.

Remember, true extremism lies in radical obedience and unwavering faith in God's Word. Let us embrace the fire of the Holy Spirit and denounce the extremes of passivity and excess. Together, as we dig deeper and go higher, we can establish a spiritual Revolution that will bring glory to God and transform our communities.

Happy Reformation Day! Unveiling the Reformation with Martin Luther

Challenging the Church: Why Luther Nailed His Theses and Ignited a Reformation

Alright, folks, on a recent episode of "Coffee With Conrad," I decided to tackle a truly fascinating historical figure: Martin Luther and the Protestant Reformation. It's Reformation Day, after all, and what better way to celebrate than by diving deep into the events that shook the very foundations of the Church centuries ago.

Now, for those who might be new to the story, Reformation Day marks October 31st, 1517 – the day Luther famously nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the Wittenberg Church. This wasn't just some random act of vandalism; it was a powerful protest against the Catholic Church's practices, particularly the outrageous selling of indulgences (basically, buying forgiveness for sins). Luther, a deeply troubled monk, couldn't stomach the corruption he saw within the Church and felt compelled to act.

Luther was a devout Catholic, but his dedication to Scripture led him to question the Church's authority. It was on the steps of a church in Rome that a pivotal moment struck him. Romans 1:17, "the just shall live by faith," hit him like a bolt of lightning. This "quickening," as I described it, was the Holy Spirit opening his eyes to the truth: salvation comes through faith alone, not through good works or paying the Church.

From that moment on, Luther knew he couldn't stay silent. He boldly proclaimed his newfound convictions, fully aware of the firestorm he was igniting. I couldn't help but draw parallels to Jesus's words about bringing division rather than peace (Matthew 10:34-39). Whenever God's Word is proclaimed with unwavering conviction, it's bound to stir controversy and opposition.

But the story doesn't end there. Throughout the episode, I explored the wider impact of Luther's actions and the Reformation itself. The printing press played a crucial role, making Scripture accessible to the common people in their own languages for the first time. It was a revolutionary change that empowered individuals and challenged the Church's monopoly on knowledge.

And let's not forget the immense courage displayed by the Reformers. They risked their lives to stand up for what they believed in, fighting to restore biblical truth. It's a reminder that sometimes, the pursuit of righteousness demands bravery in the face of immense opposition.

So, there you have it, folks! A journey through a pivotal moment in church history, fueled by my passion for God's Word and the stories of those who fought to preserve it. I hope you learned something new and gained a fresh appreciation for the truths we hold dear today. Remember, whenever we stand up for what we believe in, even when it's tough, we honor the legacy of those who dared to challenge the status quo and champion the truth.
