Standing for Righteousness: My Interview with Misty Hodges

Front  line Evangelism at Oklahoma Satanic Black Mass

Remember when I interviewed Pat Hodges about prophecy? Well, recently I discovered his wife Misty is doing some incredible frontline evangelism work, and I just had to share it with you all.

Misty had been proselytizing in Oklahoma City during a satanic black mass event. Now, before you jump to conclusions, she wasn't protesting. She was there to spread the Gospel and win souls for Jesus. I was so impressed by her courage and dedication that I invited her onto my show.

Misty shared her experiences at the event, describing the atmosphere and the various people she encountered. She emphasized that her goal was not to protest, but to evangelize.  She saw a lot of Catholics passionately praying against the darkness, but very few Christians actively engaging in evangelism.

One particularly striking moment for Misty was when she stood with a cross, realizing the gravity of taking a stand for Jesus. It saddened her that so few were willing to do the same, especially in the face of such blatant darkness.

During the event, one of Misty's fellow evangelists was actually arrested for simply inviting people to come and talk to them about Jesus! Thankfully, they had video evidence proving he was well within his rights on a public sidewalk.  This incident highlights the increasing challenges Christians face in exercising their freedom of speech and religion.

Misty's story is a powerful reminder that we need to be bold and proactive in our faith. We can't afford to be complacent or silent. We need to be actively spreading the Gospel and taking a stand for righteousness, just like Misty and her team are doing.

I encourage you all to check out Misty's ministry and consider supporting their work. They are a shining example of what it means to be a light in the darkness.  Let's all be inspired by Misty's courage and commitment to sharing the Gospel.

The Shocking Truth About the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory Exposed

The Truth About the Timing of the Rapture

As a Christian who is passionate about eschatology, I've been deeply interested in the ongoing discussions around the timing of the rapture. In recent days, I've noticed this topic creeping back up and capturing the attention of many in the Christian community. While the prospect of the rapture can be exciting, I want to caution against getting too caught up in the details and losing sight of the true focus of the gospel.

In this blog post, I'll share some biblical insights that I believe shed light on the timing of the rapture, based on the clear teachings of Scripture. I hope this will help provide clarity and encourage us to keep the main thing the main thing.

First and foremost, we must be careful not to base our eschatological positions solely on the teachings of popular authors and preachers. As the apostle Paul reminds us, even the most respected theologians can get it wrong when they are not grounded in the Spirit of God. We must diligently study the Scriptures for ourselves and be willing to humbly re-examine our beliefs.

When we look at the biblical evidence, we find several key events that seem to point to the timing of the rapture:

1. The Trump of God: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 speaks of the Lord descending from heaven with a shout, the voice of an archangel, and the trump of God. This trumpet blast is a significant marker in the end-time events.

2. The Dead in Christ Rise First: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 also tells us that the dead in Christ will rise first, before those who are alive are caught up to meet the Lord in the air.

3. The Sun and Moon Turning Dark: Matthew 24:29-31 and Revelation 6:12-14 describe the sun being darkened, the moon not giving its light, and the stars falling from the sky. These cosmic signs seem to be closely tied to the return of Christ and the gathering of His elect.

When we consider these biblical details, it becomes clear that the timing of the rapture is not as straightforward as some have suggested. The pre-tribulation rapture theory, which separates the 70th week of Daniel from the rest of the timeline, lacks solid scriptural support. Instead, the evidence points to the rapture occurring after the tribulation, in conjunction with the other end-time events.

I know this may challenge some of the popular teachings you've heard, but I encourage you to dig deeper into the Scriptures for yourself. Don't be satisfied with simply following the eschatological positions of well-known authors or preachers. Seek the truth of God's Word, even if it means re-evaluating your existing beliefs.

Ultimately, our focus should not be on speculating about the timing of the rapture or other end-time events. Our primary calling is to fulfill the Great Commission, sharing the gospel and making disciples. Let's not allow ourselves to become distracted by these fascinating but potentially divisive discussions. Instead, let's keep the main thing the main thing and be faithful to the work God has called us to do.

May the Lord bless you as you seek to grow in your understanding of His plans and purposes. Let's remain humble, grounded in the Scriptures, and focused on the mission He has given us.

Diving Deep into the Prophetic with Pat Hodges

Here is my interview with Pat Hodges from Omega Ministries.
In this interview we discuss:

The difference between OT and NT Prophets
The Difference between prophet and being prophetic
What about "Judging Prophets" in 1 Cor 14:29 ?
Prophetic Pitfalls
Good Prophetic Books

I recently had the privilege of interviewing an old friend and mentor, Pat Hodges from Omega Ministries, about the prophetic ministry. When I first started walking in the prophetic many years ago, God brought Pat into my life to help me grow. He took me from the kiddie pool to the deep end very quickly!

In our interview, Pat shared some profound insights about the differences between Old Testament and New Testament prophetic ministry. In the Old Testament, only a few were anointed as prophets to hear from God on behalf of the people. But in the New Testament, Jesus made a way for all believers to hear His voice directly. The role of New Testament prophetic ministry is mainly for edification, exhortation and comfort, as well as confirmation.

However, Pat cautioned against relying too heavily on prophetic words from others. "We need to personally develop a relationship with Jesus," he said. "That's the foundation of it." God wants intimacy with each of us.

Pat also talked about judging prophetic words with discernment. There should be mature believers who can tell if something is spoken out of a person's wounds or desires rather than from the Lord. The spirit of prophecy should align with the Spirit of Jesus.

Some of the pitfalls to avoid in prophetic ministry include pride, false assumptions, suspicion, and "reading people's mail" - picking up on the desires of their heart rather than hearing a true word from God. I can relate to that one! It's a sign of immaturity that comes with growth.

Ultimately, the best way to grow in the prophetic is simply to seek closer relationship with Jesus. As we abide in Him, He gives us revelation. I've found the prophetic anointing is also stronger in community, when prophetic people come together in unity. It can be like watching TV in the spirit!

I'm so thankful for mentors like Pat who have helped me on this journey of growing in the prophetic. I pray this interview encourages you to dive deeper in your own relationship with God, hear His voice more clearly, and use your gifts to bless the body of Christ.
