Using the Sword for Unity, Not Division

God's Word: Uniting, Not Dividing

God has recently been speaking to me a lot about worshiping in spirit and truth. It's amazing how people all over are posting revelations they're receiving about this at the same time.

I've noticed there are divisions happening among Christians, with many using the "sword of the Spirit," which is the Word of God, against each other. They're drawing lines in the sand based on denominations and doctrinal positions. But brothers and sisters, this should not be! Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one. We need to learn to embrace each other as the Body of Christ.

As we mature spiritually, we progress from the "milk" of basic teaching to the "meat" of deeper revelation. But we must approach it with humility, realizing there are many things that are "too wonderful" for us to fully grasp right now. Angels are very careful to only speak what God has told them to say. In contrast, we humans often like to speculate and discuss spiritual matters we don't completely understand.

Remember, both Jesus and Satan quoted scripture in their wilderness confrontation, but Satan twisted it for evil purposes. Similarly, people can find Bible verses to justify almost any position, even heinous acts. But the sword of the Spirit is meant to be wielded by the Holy Spirit, not our carnal reasoning. We need to seek the spirit of truth with humility, being open to correction.

God's ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. His Word comes down from heaven like rain and snow to accomplish His purposes on earth. We must yield to His Spirit and not lean on our own understanding. When we have disagreements, we should give each other grace, realizing we all "see in a mirror dimly" for now.

The sword of division Jesus spoke of in Matthew 10 was between believers and unbelievers, not something to be used by Christians against one another. So let's be humble and use the Word to build up, not tear down. Let's bear one another's burdens and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. God bless you all.

Ministry Spotlight with Jill Dyson - Angel Street Ministries #CWC

 Angel Street: Empowering Memphis Girls

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing Jill Dyson on my podcast, Coffee with Conrad. Jill is an accomplished singer-songwriter from Memphis with a passion for faith, family, music and philanthropy.

During our conversation, Jill shared how her song "Carry the Light" was inspired by Philippians 2:15 and encapsulates her mission to bring hope and the love of Jesus to the city of Memphis, especially through her involvement with Angel Street Ministry.

Angel Street Ministry focuses on mentoring and empowering young girls in some of the poorest neighborhoods of North Memphis. Jill explained how it started with leading a children's choir for a women's ministry Christmas event. The girls were so engaged and excited that it grew into an ongoing program providing music education, mentoring, and connecting the girls to opportunities to develop their talents and leadership potential.

Jill shared moving stories of the transformative impact Angel Street has had on girls in the program, like Jasmine and Terrian, who have blossomed into confident young leaders. Jill's love for Memphis and its people shines through. As she put it, "I can be a part of their lives and have a lifelong journey with them where we become family, we become friends."

My biggest takeaway from this inspiring interview is that one person, fueled by faith and compassion, can make a profound difference in a community. Jill Dyson is a shining example of what it means to "carry the light" and spread hope, one life at a time. I encourage you to learn more about Jill's music and Angel Street Ministry at JillDyson.com.

America's Awakening - The time is NOW

The Coming Wave of Revival and True Worship in America

I believe we are on the cusp of a great spiritual awakening in our nation. In recent days, God has been speaking to me and many others through visions, dreams and confirmations that a wave of revival is coming, and He is calling His people back to true worship.

It started for me during Sunday worship, when I saw a vision of an eagle being released and trying to soar, but it had grown fat and sluggish. To my dismay, it even began to resemble a turkey. I believe this represents the state of much of the American church - we have lost our prophetic edge and fire, growing complacent in our comfort and prosperity. The enemy has tried to steal our true worship, exchanging it for mere entertainment.

But the story is not over! In the midst of this, I saw another vision of an evergreen tree, with candles and flames gathering to it from every direction. I believe this tree is a symbol of the coming revival that will restore us. Amazingly, others have been having similar dreams and visions about this "Appeal to Heaven" movement, harkening back to the flag George Washington flew during our nation's founding. Our only hope is to turn back to God!

"But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him." (John 4:23)

God is seeking those who will worship Him in spirit and in truth in this hour. Not entertainment or performance, but deep, authentic worship. When we do this, like Paul and Silas in prison, we will see chains broken and a great release of God's power!

I believe the eagle will soar again and America will see another Great Awakening as we return to our foundation of faith. The wave is coming - it's time to get on our knees in fervent worship and catch the mighty move of God's Spirit that is on the way! Will you join me? Let's appeal to Heaven together!
