Some Humbling Scriptures!

The Pitfall of Pride Pride is a dangerous pitfall that we must continually guard our hearts against. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk in humility, putting God's will above our own desires. In this eye-opening video, some sobering scriptures are shared that rebuke the attitudes of pride and self-exaltation. Here are a few of the key points that stood out: Our Allegiances Need to Be in Order (Matthew 10:37) Jesus said, "He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me." How often are we tempted to break our vows to God because a family member pulls on our allegiances? Christ must be first.
