Why are we Angry with Our Brother?

Are we getting angry with our brother without a cause?  Psalm 41:6 the heart gathers iniquity to itself;  Confirmation bias is on autopilot;  If we are angry at our brother, what is the root cause; social media keeps us hooked on what we want;  our brother we disagree with also has confirmation bias;  find the false doctrine in our lives and root it out;  Spirit of Truth guides us into all truth;  fake news spreads 6 times faster than real;  rejecting opposing information out of hand;  Smith Wigglesworth wouldn't even allow a newspaper in his home;  renewing our minds with e word of god in our lives;  we think the same thoughts each day;  2 Cor 5:10 Bringing thoughts into the obedience of Christ; 

When Family Rejects Your Supernatural Experiences

  What happens when the people you love most reject you because you told them about a supernatural experience? It can leave a wound that lasts for years. Rejection from strangers is painful, but rejection from Christian family can make a person wonder whether there is any safe place to tell the truth. I know that conflict personally because supernatural experiences began in my childhood. One time I was standing under the carport when something compelled me to look directly at the metal kickstand on my dad’s bicycle. As I stared at it for a few seconds, the kickstand snapped in two. I ran inside and told my family, but they accused me of lying. That crushed me because I loved my family very much. Years earlier, when I was five, something drew me toward a room in a relative’s house. The door was closed even though it was usually open. I heard a man shuffling inside and heard him say that he had started a fire and wanted me to tell the others. I went into the kitchen and reported it. ...

Cling to Scripture AND Follow the Spirit

We should cling tightly to scripture but also emphasize following the Spirit of God. Ever notice that Jesus was constantly confounding the top theologians? Notice that Jesus often did things that might not be easy to find a scriptural reason for doing so? Like spitting mud into someone's eye? Casting demons into pigs? Walking on water? Turning water into wine? Why did Jesus do those things without an obvious scriptural precedent? He was following His Father which is Spirit! Joh 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Notice how Jesus said He followed the Father: Joh 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.
