Prophetic Word December 31, 2011

New Year, New Wine: Prophetic Encouragement

Hey everyone, Conrad here. As many of you know, I don't typically share prophetic words around New Year's. But this year, something different stirred in my spirit. I felt compelled to share what the Holy Spirit has been revealing.
For those searching for prophetic words, keywords like "new wine and old wineskins," "taking new territory," and a call to reach the "lukewarm" might have drawn you here.  Let's dive into what this might mean for you in the coming year.

New Wine, New Wineskins

First and foremost, the Holy Spirit is emphasizing a shift. We're entering a season of "new wine," a fresh move of God. But here's the catch: to receive this new wine, we need to shed the "old wineskins," the outdated methods and mindsets that have held us back.

Are you ready to trade in those old wineskins for something fresh?

This might involve letting go of religious structures that no longer resonate, or stepping outside our comfort zones to embrace new ways of experiencing God.

Taking New Territory Like Joshua

Remember Joshua leading the Israelites across the Jordan? The message here is clear: we're about to cross into new territory, a place of fresh purpose and divine opportunity.

Are you ready to step into your own Jordan River moment?

This might involve stepping out in faith towards a new calling, a new ministry, or simply a new way of living out your faith.

Prophetically Deepen Your Relationship with the Holy Spirit

The cornerstone of navigating this new season is a vibrant relationship with the Holy Spirit. He's our guide, our comforter, and the one who empowers us to take action on the word we receive.

Here are some questions to ponder:

* How can I strengthen my prayer life to better hear the Holy Spirit's voice?
* What are some practical ways I can increase my dependence on the Holy Spirit throughout the day?

Remember, faith without works is dead!

As co-laborers with Christ, we're called to be active participants in what God is doing.

Let's not just receive the word, let's take action!

A Message for the Lukewarm

Finally, I felt a strong nudge to share a message with the "lukewarm" Christians out there.  Maybe you've been going through the motions, or your faith feels stagnant.  If this resonates with you, know that God's fire is still burning for you!
This is a season to reignite your passion and step back into a vibrant relationship with Jesus.
Is there a lukewarm Christian in your life who needs encouragement?
Share this message with them and pray together for a renewed fire!

This is just the beginning, friends. As we step into the  new year, let's embrace the new wine, conquer new territory with the Holy Spirit as our guide, and reach out to those who need a spark to reignite their faith.

Let's dig deeper and go higher together!

  3. Thank you for sharing! Conrad, the Lord had me' read & think on the 1st few chapters of Joshua earlier this week. This is what I learned from Holy Spirirt. As we take possession in 2012 , we need to inquire of the Lord what to do for every move we take (Joshua 1:8) especially after a great victory. (Remember Ai)

  5. Your word witnesses with me big time Conrad. Especially what you said about being co-laborers with Christ. The Holy Spirit's had me in Acts the last month. Every point you addressed is constant in that account of the church. Talk about new wine being delivered and old wine skins needing to go. Plus - taking new territory, following the Holy Spirit, radical praying. I have felt an incredible stirring to live loudly again. What I mean by that is not to thump people with bible verses, but to challenge luke warmness with radical faith action - being a kind of spiritual mentor around people. Many in the church need to see what original uncontaminated faith looks like. They need to see people who really believe and aren't afraid to do something about it. That's powerful, and it has a way of shaking people up. Check out the word I got for http://facebook.com/deepbreathministries for this year. God's moving. Feeling the breeze...

  7. The old wineskins are too busy being filled w/ the world.
Happy 2 act a fool in front of thousands @sporting events, unwilling to praise God outloud even @church, they(churched America) are the lukewarm. They are the new territory that is to be taken. Within the walls of the church yet all around us. They are the 1s we are to be praying 4 God to open their eyes. The pouring out of His Holy Spirit upon us. Many are fooled & will be left behind, hearing the words, I knew you not.
