Supernatural Boldness: From Tattooing to Tongues with Joseph McFarland

Image
I remember standing on a busy street corner in Mobile, Alabama, feeling my heart hammer against my ribs like a trapped bird. I had a sign in my hand that read "REPENT," and honestly, I felt like I was standing there naked. It was a "dare" moment—one of those times where the Holy Spirit nudges you so hard you either have to jump or live with the regret of staying on the shore. Beside me stood Joseph McFarland, a man who has become a brother in every sense of the word. We were nervous, looking at the bus station, looking at the crowds, wondering if we were about to be embraced or executed. You see, many of us sitting in the pews every Sunday feel that same tug. We want the "more" of God. We want to see the sick healed, the broken restored, and the supernatural reality of the Bible manifest in our daily lives. But then the "what ifs" start screaming. What if people laugh? What if I'm not "spiritual" enough? What if the devil decides t...

Jesus Walk from Walmart to Jerry Lee's

Image
My buddy Joseph and I had a bet on who could lose the most weight in a month. The loser was supposed to carry the #Jesus sign from Walmart Ocean Springs to Jerry Lee's Grocery, Inc.. This is a bet we both wanted to lose so we didn't even bother to weigh in. We lifted up the Name of #Jesus for seven miles on April 15th 2018.

Breaking the Stumbling Blocks of Iniquity: Hearing God’s Voice in a World of Idols

Image
The silence in my house can be a beautiful thing, but after seventy-two hours without sleep, the silence starts to play tricks on you. I was sitting in my usual spot, the weight of the world and the demands of ministry pressing down on me, when the spiritual atmosphere shifted. If you’ve ever pushed your body to the limit, you know that blurry edge where the physical world starts to bleed into the supernatural. I’ve seen some crazy things in those moments—sometimes it’s the enemy trying to get a foothold, even demons whispering your name just to rattle your cage—but this was different. This wasn't a distraction. It was a piercing, holy clarity that cut through my exhaustion like a hot knife through butter. I heard a phrase in my spirit that stopped my heart: "Shall I be inquired of at all by you?" It wasn’t a suggestion. It wasn't a "how are you doing, Conrad?" It was a double-barrel shotgun word from the Lord that struck me to the core of my being. Fear, ...

Hearing the Shepherd's Voice: How to Build a Real Relationship with the Living God

Image
Developing a Spiritual Relationship with God  What do you do when your world starts crumbling around you and you realize, in a moment of sheer terror, that you really need God? I mean when you are totally, bone-deep desperate. We have all been there—those seasons where nothing seems to work, no one seems to care, and every friend you thought you had flees from you like you have the plague. Maybe you have even dug your own pit, or perhaps a snare just snapped shut on your life and you are left staring at the wreckage of your own choices. In those "hurricane junctures" of life, we often find ourselves falling on our faces in a prayer closet we haven't visited in years. We rub our pride in the dirt, we cry, we fast, and we pull out all the stops. But then a chilling realization sets in: you are screaming into the dark, and you don't actually know the voice of the Lord. You are dialing 911 for Jesus, but you realize you don't even recognize the Person on the other en...
