The Experiences I Describe as Demonic Night Terror

A nightmare is just a bad dream — you wake up scared, and it fades. Demonic night terror is something else entirely:

  • There’s something evil in your room.
  • Something sitting on your chest.
  • You can’t move. You can’t scream.

People are told to take a sleeping pill or sleep on their side when they describe experiences like mine. But if you’re dealing with a demonic attack, how is a pill or a different sleeping position supposed to make the demon leave? Pills don’t cast out demons. Neither does sleeping on your side.

There is victory in Jesus over demonic night terror. But saying His name and walking in His authority are not the same thing. In this book, I share what I learned about submitting to God, closing the door through repentance, and resisting the devil through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.” PSALM 4:8 · KJV

What You’ll Learn in the Book

  • The experiences I recognize as demonic night terror — and how I came to understand them
  • The open doors I discuss — including occult involvement, unforgiveness, and sin — and how repentance shuts them
  • King James scriptures on submitting to God, resisting the devil, and standing in faith
  • What I teach about spiritual authority in the family and how open doors can affect your children
  • How understanding authority in Christ changed my response from fear to confidence in Jesus

Sin lieth at the door (Genesis 4:7). Through repentance, that door is shut. The enemy may still try to knock, but we resist him and stand in the authority of Jesus Christ (James 4:7). That is why the book also covers maintaining victory.

I Got Victory in This Area

When I was five years old, something pressed its hand over my mouth in the middle of the night. I couldn’t scream. Couldn’t move. Couldn’t breathe.

It took me years to understand what had opened the door. Once the Lord showed me what I needed to repent of, I acted on it and experienced deliverance. I’m outraged by the disinformation online about demonic night terror. That’s why I’m offering this ebook free—to share my testimony and what I learned about finding victory in Jesus Christ.
