Worship was awesome last night at church. I knew it was going to be good.  I have had a few encounters the preceding week with God overwhelming me with His presence.  The kind where i am enraptured with His love and it makes my body vibrate.   I also had a huge sickness attack hit me about four hours before service.  My first thought was to call and cancel, and then i realized, this was just another attack from the enemy.  Ha!  i have been doing this long enough i should know how the devil operates by now.  So i took authority, prayed and confessed the word (1 Samuel 30:6).  I also had some Google+ peeps pray for me! Thanks guys for your prayers!  I love you!  (see i blog about ya! that is love!) Back to the presence of God that i had experienced this preceding week. Sometimes i think some of my posts through just a little too much!  Well, I way over think them.  And that is a problem. I was writing this one post and it turns out that i may make an eBook or Inner circle Podcast out of it.  The thoughts just kept flowing and flowing, and then i noticed it was turning into several pages. I stepped away in my mind's eye briefly and realized i was trying to coalesce an oceans worth of ideas into a short one page blog post.  That is not going to work. I love to do podcasts mainly.  I dunno why.  Maybe it is because i sound so much better than i  look!  Podcasting seems to flow much easier and i really enjoy doing them.  However it seems people like reading blogs.  So i try and fit in  a few posts of actual writing just so it appears to look somewhat like a 'normal' blog. Have you ever been searching and searching and searching  for something and found out that you already owned it? I have done this many times.  More than i care to mention. I was looking for an online spreadsheet for some tasks that i wanted to keep track of.  I went searching online for a bit, and then i started thinking, "Hey!I have google docs!  AND it has an online spreadsheet!".  Wow!  How cool is that?  I already have a free app in my possession that is more than adequate for what i need. Consider this.  People pay hundreds of dollars for a smart phone and they only use  it to make calls?  That is a waste!  Smart phones can do all sorts of amazing stuff.  I have a bunch of different bibles on mine.  I have weather apps, podcast apps, radio apps, music apps, GPS apps, and the list could go on.  In my pocket is more technology than was available to send a man all the way to the Moon!   I used to try ...

A praise report with a smile. Ha, Ha, Ha... some times i just have to laugh at how things are going. I have a window that fell off the track in my SUV.  So sometimes it slips a little inside the door, until i scrounge up the $400 to get it fixed.  I went to bed with the window just about an inch from the top.  I thought, "No big deal, it is not going to rain in Houston anyway, this is like the longest drought in history!". Well lo and behold, the next morning it rained.  And it rained hard!    At this point in my life moments like this may be a cause to call suicide prevention.  How much more of this can i take? Well, i bucked it up, put on my slippers and headed out to deal with the situation.  As soon as i stepped outside i was immediately deterred by the mammoth amount of water that was falling from God's sky and the furious wind that accompanied it.  I frowned and turned back inside intending on simply sulking my way through this...

I am excited because i get to share a positive vision. I received this vision tonight during corporate prayer. Vision: I saw two hands pounding furiously against black billowing clouds in the heavenly realm.  Then one hand turned to me and signified the peace sign. I had some accompanying scriptures with the vision. 1Co 9:26  I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. The Lord reminded me of the history of the  peace sign as i looked up the accompanying scriptures. The V sign was in use during the Second World War by the resistance.   The symbol started going viral in 1941 and people  all over Europe began using this sign prophesying a future victory.   As this sentime...

I often ponder  on the story of when Jesus was walking on the water in the storm found in Matthew 14.  The disciples of Christ were at first afraid and thought that hey had seen a ghost.   They soon recognized the Master's voice even in the storm (see John 10).  One dared to draw near to the Lord with faith (James 4:8).  He asked Jesus to command him to come.  Knowing that if Jesus commands it, then he will be safe (Heb 5:9).  Knowing that if Jesus authors the word then he can stand on it and not sink.   Peter asks the Lord to command him to come out onto the water.  The Lord obliges.  As Peter was drawing near to Jesus, he got distracted by his surroundings.  He took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at the wind.  We are to keep our eyes upon Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2).  Once we become distracted and look away we begin to sink into our own reality,  we begin to revert back to our old way...
