How Personal Prophecy Works: The Spiritual, Prophetic, and Supernatural Sequence

 How Personal Prophecy works!

Are you hungry for real spiritual experiences—not just hollow religion, but the supernatural life that Jesus promised? Maybe you’ve encountered personal prophecy and wondered: What’s actually happening behind the scenes? Why do some prophetic words strike the bull’s eye, revealing what God’s already stirring? And why does confirmation seem so important in Scripture and in real life?

The pain point is real: too many believers have encountered fake prophecy, flattery, or error, and walked away discouraged, wounded, or doubting God’s supernatural power. Or maybe you’ve missed a genuine word from the Lord because you didn’t discern the process at work. Today, I want to walk you through the biblical dynamics of personal prophecy—step by step—so you can recognize God’s voice, obey, and experience real transformation.

Stick around, because we’re diving deep into prophetic foundations found in 1 Samuel, Ephesians, and what is lived out on the streets. By the end of this post, you’ll see how personal prophecy isn’t about hype or psychic tricks—it’s about God’s relentless pursuit, correction, and confirmation, setting you up for your upward call.

What Is Personal Prophecy? Not Just Feel-Good Encouragement

Let's be clear: biblical prophecy is more than a motivational speech. The Lord still speaks—He reveals His heart, His warnings, His plans for you. Ephesians 4:11–12 tells us why God gives apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers:

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11–12 KJV).

Notice that word ‘edifying.’ In the Greek, it’s oikodome—like building up a house. It’s about laying a spiritual foundation, not just tickling ears. Prophecy often addresses God’s plan for your life, not just your comfort.

This means when God delivers a personal word—whether through a preacher, a stranger, or a friend—it’s designed to put you (or get you back) on track with His purpose.

The Biblical Model: Prophecy Sequence in 1 Samuel

Let’s dig into 1 Samuel—a book sometimes called the “First Book of Kings”—to discover a real-world progression for how personal prophecy operates.

The Short Leash of Spiritual Responsibility

Eli the high priest is a perfect example. God holds those in spiritual authority to a higher standard. Think about Moses—one wrong move and he couldn’t enter the Promised Land (Numbers 20:12). Leaders are on a short leash because their choices ripple far and wide.

Eli’s sons, Hophni and Phinehas, were out of control—committing sin at the very door of the tabernacle.

And he said unto them, Why do ye such things?... Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the Lord’s people to transgress (1 Samuel 2:23–24 KJV).

Eli gave his sons a verbal warning, but he didn’t enforce God’s standards with real action. According to the Torah, flagrant disobedience could’ve meant harsh discipline—even death. This is a hard pill to swallow, but God expects us to value His word above family ties (Deuteronomy 21:18–21).

When God Is Already Working: The Piercing of the Heart

Before a prophetic word arrives, God is already working on the recipient’s conscience. Eli was ‘pricked in his heart’ because he knew things weren’t right, yet didn’t take the necessary steps.

This is huge for street ministry and practical prophetic evangelism: the Holy Spirit often preps the ground before you arrive. Whether you’re sharing a word at Walmart, in your community, or behind the pulpit, God is already stirring up conviction and awareness in people’s hearts.

The Prophet from Afar: The First Witness

And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord... (1 Samuel 2:27 KJV).

God sends a prophet—often someone unfamiliar, from outside your comfort zone. Notice that in this account, the first warning didn't come from a friend, but from an unnamed "man of God." Jesus affirmed this principle:

A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house (Mark 6:4 KJV).

You might be tempted to dismiss the messenger, especially if they don’t fit your expectations. But, in my experience, this is often when God hits the bullseye. Many times, when we give words of knowledge in public, the response is, ‘How did you know that?’ Why? Because the Lord has already been dealing with them on that very subject.

Familiarity can breed contempt. Paul warns about not discerning the Lord's body—sometimes the word you need comes from a vessel you'd never choose (1 Corinthians 11:29–30).

For example, imagine a homeless man who, after you offer to buy lunch, quietly says, “The Lord is telling you to reconcile with your sister today.” It lands on the very thing God pricked your heart about that morning. If you brush it off because of his appearance, you miss the grace in the message. The Lord can speak through "the least of these" to confirm what He’s already been saying to you.

The First Word: Opening the Space to Repent

The man of God's message to Eli detailed everything the Lord had been communicating to Eli's spirit. He covered their history, the blessings, and the current offense:

Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering... (1 Samuel 2:29 KJV).

This phrase echoes what Jesus said to Paul: It is hard for thee to kick against the pricks (Acts 9:5 KJV). God had warned, disciplined, and pleaded—and now came the first prophetic witness.

Here's the critical timing: The first prophetic word opens the space to repent. God often provides this space before final judgment. Even in Revelation, God gives "Jezebel" time to turn around (Revelation 2:21).

The pattern is:

  1. God convicts directly.
  2. The first prophetic witness (often a stranger) opens a window for repentance.
  3. If no repentance comes, the confirmation word establishes the result.

Confirmation: The Two or Three Witnesses Principle

God affirms His word with witnesses. The unnamed man of God was the first, and now Samuel—whom Eli is raising—becomes the second:

And the Lord said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle... I have told him that I will judge his house for ever... (1 Samuel 3:11–13 KJV).

This is the confirmation. Samuel repeats what the first prophet declared. Jesus said:

In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established (Matthew 18:16 KJV).

In my experience, and in Scripture, when a prophetic word comes twice—or when the same revelation repeats through two different people—it’s God making sure you can’t miss it.

The Role of Relationship and Relational Prophecy

Notice that Samuel is someone Eli knows, trusts, and has mentored. This relational dynamic matters.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed (James 5:16 KJV).

When someone who walks closely with you shares a prophetic confirmation, it’s powerful. It’s not just “sidewalk prophecy”—it’s the spiritual architecture (oikodome) that Ephesians 4 describes.

The Prophetic Process: How It Plays Out on the Streets

Let’s bring this biblical framework to street-level ministry, where I’ve spent years sharing words of knowledge and prophetic wisdom.

  1. God Is Already at Work: When we share a word from God, almost always, He’s already dealing with the person about that very issue. The prophecy simply brings to light what’s already burning within.
  2. External Confirmation: Someone outside their circle—maybe you, maybe a traveling preacher—delivers a word that ‘reads their mail.’ This gets their attention.
  3. Relational Confirmation: God then brings further confirmation through someone they recognize and respect, or by repeating the message through their own prayer life. Like Samuel with Eli, this second witness seals the word.
  4. The Space to Respond: At this point, the recipient has a choice: repent, align, respond—or harden their heart. God’s heart is always to restore, never to ambush.

The Hard Sayings: Why Eli Failed

Eli's story ends with tragedy—his sons die, and the glory departs from Israel. Why? Because Eli failed the "Hard Sayings" test.

Jesus made it clear that following Him requires prioritizing God's will above even our closest family ties:

If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple (Luke 14:26 KJV).

Eli honored his sons more than God (1 Samuel 2:29), refusing to execute the necessary discipline because it was too painful personally. Prophecy often demands we choose God over comfort or kin. Ultimately, the prophetic ministry isn’t about gaining wealth or popularity—it’s about aligning with God, no matter the personal cost.

Key Takeaways: How to Recognize and Respond to Prophecy

  • God usually starts the process by dealing with your heart. When you feel conviction, don’t shrug it off.
  • Prophets (sometimes strangers) provide confirmation—God’s way of saying, ‘Pay attention, this is Me still speaking.’
  • Local or known leaders then often deliver a confirming word, solidifying the message.
  • Confirmation is key. Like Joseph interpreting Pharaoh’s double dream: And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass (Genesis 41:32 KJV).
  • There’s always a window to respond. Even when judgment is declared, God’s desire is repentance and restoration.

Conclusion and Call to Action

If your heart’s burning as you read this, it’s time to act. The supernatural life Jesus promised—prophecy, edification, transformation—is not just for ‘higher-ups’ but whosoever will. Do not ignore that tug in your spirit. Ask the Lord how you can align with His plan, and boldly move forward.

Christianity and the Rise of Hitler: A Spiritual Warning from History

Unholy Alliance: The Shocking Truth Behind Hitler's Rise in Christian Germany

Introduction

Have you ever considered how two powerful symbols—a cross and a swastika—could have ever coexisted? As I reflected on this disturbing historical reality, I felt compelled to share one of history's darkest deceptions with you: how Hitler manipulated an entire nation of believers into supporting his rise to power.

For over a decade, I've dreamed of addressing this topic. Yet every time I've tried to share even the smallest glimpse of this truth—whether a historical photo or factual account—I found myself silenced on social media, with posts banned and marked as offensive. I've literally been thrown into "Facebook jail" for daring to speak these uncomfortable truths.

But now, with a new dawn of free speech upon us, it's time to shed light on the shadows of the past. This isn't just a historical footnote; it's a piercing alarm bell warning us about the ever-present dangers of political opportunism and the paramount importance of developing a discerning faith firmly anchored in God's Word.

Please note: Below you will find the audio podcast version of this blog post in video format.

The Historical Context: A Christian Nation Falls

To understand the magnitude of this spiritual deception, we must first set the scene. Germany during the Weimar era was overwhelmingly Christian—nearly two-thirds of the population identified as Protestant and almost a third as Roman Catholic. The Jewish community, which would become the primary target of Nazi hatred, comprised less than 1% of the population. This demographic reality meant the attitudes and actions of Christian churches held immense power and influence.

The Weimar Republic faced a perfect storm of crises. The economy was in tatters, with hyperinflation wiping out people's savings and unemployment causing widespread suffering. The Treaty of Versailles, which forced Germany to accept blame for World War I, pay massive reparations, and surrender significant territories, festered in the national consciousness as a humiliation. This deep sense of crisis created fertile ground for extreme ideologies promising restoration and glory.

Crucially, significant segments of the Christian population harbored deep reservations about the Weimar Republic itself. Conservative Protestants, traditionally loyal to the Kaiser, viewed the new democratic order with suspicion. The separation of church and state felt like a loss of privilege and influence. Similarly, many Catholics were uneasy with the Republic's more liberal social policies on issues like education and marriage, which clashed with core Catholic beliefs.

This widespread unhappiness and longing for a return to old values and national pride created an opening for the seductive promises of National Socialism.

Hitler's Manipulation of Christians

How did Hitler, a man whose private views were intensely anti-Christian, manage to gain the trust and support of so many believers? The answer lies in a carefully crafted strategy of manipulation and the exploitation of people's deepest fears and frustrations.

Making Germany Great Again

Hitler's primary tactic was appealing to wounded national pride. After Germany's defeat in World War I and the harsh penalties imposed by the Treaty of Versailles, many Christians who were also patriots yearned for restoration. Hitler positioned himself as the strong leader who could resurrect Germany's greatness. Many Christians began to see him almost as a messianic figure who could rescue their nation from humiliation and decline.

The Anti-Communist Shield

The Nazi Party also gained substantial Christian support by presenting itself as the bulwark against communism. During the 1920s and '30s, the specter of communist revolution terrified many Europeans, particularly Christians who feared communism's atheistic and anti-religious stance. Hitler's strong anti-communist rhetoric resonated deeply with believers who saw communism as an existential threat to their faith and way of life. Tragically, their fear of communism led them to embrace something far more evil.

The Deception of "Positive Christianity"

Perhaps the most insidious tactic was the Nazi Party's calculated promotion of "Positive Christianity." This deliberately vague term was a cornerstone of their propaganda aimed at Christians. It was presented as a form of Christianity compatible with Nazi ideology, emphasizing national values and racial purity while downplaying or outright rejecting core Christian doctrines.

For many Christians, hearing the word "Christianity" associated with this powerful new movement provided a false sense of reassurance that their faith was not under threat. They failed to see that this "Positive Christianity" was a hollow shell—a manipulative tool designed to co-opt their faith for political ends. At its core, it stripped away fundamental Christian beliefs, rejecting the Old Testament, denying Jesus's Jewish heritage, and replacing biblical teachings with Nazi racial ideology.

The Rise of the "German Christians" Movement

One of the most alarming aspects of this history was the emergence of the "German Christians" movement within the Protestant Church. This was not a fringe group but a powerful force that actively sought to Nazify Christian faith. Their goal was to create a unified "Reich Church" completely aligned with Nazi principles and Adolf Hitler himself.

Their agenda represented a radical perversion of Christian doctrine. They sought to purge Christianity of what they deemed "Jewish influence," demanding the outright rejection of the Old Testament. They attempted to rewrite the story of Jesus, portraying him not as a Jew, but as an Aryan fighter against Jewish materialism—a blatant rewriting of scripture to fit a racist ideology.

Even more disturbing, the "German Christians" implemented the horrific "Aryan paragraph" within the church, effectively barring Christians of Jewish descent from church membership and ministerial positions. This policy directly violated the fundamental Christian understanding of baptism and the universality of God's love.

In a chilling demonstration of their power, this movement garnered the support of two-thirds of Protestant voters in the national church elections of July 1933. Their leader, Ludwig Müller, a fervent Nazi sympathizer, became the Reich Bishop, giving them control over the direction of the German Protestant Church.

Resistance and Failure

In response to this radical Nazification, a resistance movement emerged within Protestantism: the Confessing Church. Courageous figures like Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Martin Niemöller stood against the tide, affirming the ultimate authority of scripture and the sovereignty of God, refusing to bow to the idol of the Nazi state. The Barmen Declaration of 1934 was their powerful theological statement rejecting Nazi influence on church doctrine.

While the Confessing Church courageously defended its independence from Nazi control, it had serious shortcomings. Its focus was primarily on resisting Nazi control over church matters rather than speaking out against the growing persecution of Jewish people. While they defended baptized Christians of Jewish heritage, they largely remained silent about the wider antisemitic violence and oppression.

Martin Niemöller later admitted he regretted not standing up for Jewish people simply because they were Jewish. Only a few individuals, like Dietrich Bonhoeffer, fully recognized that Nazi beliefs were completely contrary to Christian teachings. Bonhoeffer actively resisted the Nazi regime and ultimately gave his life for his stand.

The Catholic Response

The Catholic Church initially viewed Nazism with greater suspicion. However, the signing of the Reichskonkordat in 1933 marked a turning point. While the Vatican sought to protect the rights and autonomy of the Catholic Church in Germany, this agreement inadvertently weakened organized Catholic political opposition.

Despite the Concordat, the Nazi regime systematically violated its terms, persecuting Catholics, closing organizations, and silencing dissent. Some Catholic leaders did stand against specific Nazi policies—like Bishop Clemens August Graf von Galen of Münster, who spoke out against the Nazi euthanasia programs.

However, the Catholic Church's overall response to the persecution of Jews has faced serious criticism. Many believe the Church prioritized institutional self-preservation over defending basic human rights. This lack of decisive action remains one of the most troubling aspects of this period.

Hitler's True Views on Christianity

To understand the depth of this historical deception, we must confront Hitler's actual beliefs about Christianity. Research clearly shows that in private, Hitler harbored profound hatred and contempt for the Christian faith. He saw it as a weak and sentimental religion, a "Jewish invention" that undermined the strength and purity of the "Aryan race." He viewed Christian ethics of compassion and forgiveness as detrimental to what he considered the natural order of struggle and survival.

His long-term goal was nothing less than the elimination of Christianity in Germany. He envisioned a future where a state-controlled ideology glorifying the "Aryan race" and the Nazi state would replace traditional religious belief. His promotion of "Positive Christianity" was a cynical and calculated deception—a temporary tactic to gain support from the Christian majority.

The Legacy of Christian Antisemitism

We cannot ignore how centuries of Christian antisemitism created fertile ground for Nazi propaganda. For generations, negative stereotypes about Jewish people had been spread through Christian teachings. Martin Luther, the Protestant reformer, wrote harshly antisemitic texts that the Nazis later exploited to justify their actions. In his 1543 work "On the Jews and Their Lies," Luther called for destroying Jewish homes and synagogues.

Although traditional Christian anti-Judaism differed from the Nazis' racial antisemitism, it created a culture where anti-Jewish sentiments were normalized. The Nazis skillfully exploited these prejudices to portray Jews as enemies of both Christ and the German nation. This long history of Christian anti-Judaism made some believers less sensitive to the growing persecution of Jewish people.

The Power of Propaganda

The Nazis were masters of propaganda, skillfully using Christian language, symbols, and even historical figures to further their agenda. They selectively quoted the Bible, reinterpreted Christian teachings to align with their ideology, and even depicted Hitler in ways suggesting divine mandate. The traditional Christian motto "Gott Mit Uns" (God with us) emblazoned on German army uniforms was a blatant attempt to associate the regime and its horrific actions with divine approval.

Lessons for Today's Church

The story of Christianity during Hitler's rise stands as a powerful wake-up call that echoes through time. It shows us how easily faith can be twisted when mixed with politics, how the sweet whispers of national pride can lead us astray, and why we must keep our spiritual eyes wide open.

Where does our deepest loyalty lie? Every day, we face choices between earthly power and heavenly truth. We cannot allow any leader, movement, or cause to come between us and our true calling to love and serve God.

When we look at those dark days, we see how religious words can be weaponized and faith transformed into a tool for power. But we also witness powerful examples of courageous individuals who stood firm, choosing God's truth over human lies. Their courage lights our path forward.

The haunting silence of so many Christians during those terrible times still weighs heavily on our hearts. But this isn't just about the past—it's about today, about you and me. Will we speak up? Will we stand firm? Will we choose love over fear, truth over comfort, justice over silence?

Practical Application for Our Spiritual Journey

Let me leave you with some practical takeaways from today's heavy but important discussion:

  1. Make time for your Bible. When we examined how the "German Christians" went astray, it was because they'd lost touch with core teachings. Keep that foundation strong.

  2. Develop spiritual discernment through prayer. Just as "Positive Christianity" proved to be a hollow counterfeit, good discernment helps you identify spiritual deception.

  3. Always fact-check teachings against Scripture. The Confessing Church got this right—they recognized God's Word as the final authority.

  4. Don't remain silent in the face of injustice. Remember Niemöller's regret? We cannot wait until it's too late to speak up.

  5. Be vigilant when patriotism mixes with faith. Hitler masterfully played on national pride, making seductive promises about restoring greatness.

  6. Maintain critical thinking, even regarding religious leaders. The Reich Church demonstrated that even church leaders can lose their way.

Let me leave you with this final thought: our ultimate loyalty belongs to God alone—not to any earthly leader or movement. Authentic faith is grounded in God's truth and calls us to love everyone without exception.

If today's message has stirred something in your heart, I invite you to share this message of hope and vigilance with others. Together, we can ensure these crucial lessons reach those who need to hear them. I encourage you to visit my blog at conradrocks.net, where I focus primarily on deepening our spiritual journey but occasionally explore challenging historical topics like this one because understanding our past helps us protect our future and strengthen our faith.

I've included some excellent resources in the blog notes, including the film "Sophie Scholl: The Final Days," which portrays a Christian resistance movement during Nazi Germany, and the audiobook "Hitler's Last Days: The Death of a Nazi Regime."

Thanks for being part of this journey. Until next time, dig deeper and go higher.

A Supernatural Journey: My Interview with Pastor Timothy Quackenbos

Walking in Signs and Wonders Today

I’m thrilled to share an incredible conversation I had with a man whose life is a testament to the supernatural power of God—Pastor Timothy Quackenbos, affectionately known as Brother Tim. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to walk in the prophetic, experience signs and wonders, and live a life fully surrendered to Jesus, this is for you.

Introduction: A Divine Encounter

Let me start by sharing how I first met Brother Tim. It’s one of those God-incidences (not coincidences) that still blows my mind. My wife, Susan, and I were at a gas station in Petrey when we saw a flyer for a tent revival. We decided to go, and that’s where we first encountered Brother Tim. He received a prophetic word for us that night, and from there, our paths kept crossing. It was clear that God was orchestrating our connection.

Fast forward to today, and I’m sitting down with Brother Tim to dive deep into his extraordinary journey of faith. His life is marked by miracles, healings, and a relentless pursuit of God’s presence. If you’re hungry for a deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus, this interview will inspire and challenge you.

The Early Years: A Call at Age 10

One of the most fascinating parts of Brother Tim’s story is how he was called by God at just 10 years old. Imagine that—a child hearing from God in such a profound way! He shared how the devil actually appeared to him in his bedroom, and the fear of that encounter drove him to Christ.

I saw the devil’s face, and my brother saw his body. I crawled to my mom’s room and told her I wanted to get saved. She led me to Christ that night.”

Isn’t it amazing how God can use even the enemy’s schemes to draw us closer to Him? This moment marked the beginning of Brother Tim’s lifelong journey of faith.

Baptized in the Holy Spirit: A Prophetic Calling

Not long after his salvation, Brother Tim was baptized in the Holy Spirit while hanging clothes on a clothesline in Sarasota, Florida. He began speaking in tongues and heard God’s voice clearly, calling him to a life of ministry.

God told me what I would be doing, even what I’m doing now. He said I would see the dead raised to life and the book of Acts alive in my life.”

This prophetic calling has been the driving force behind Brother Tim’s ministry. He’s seen dead people raised to life, miraculous healings, and countless lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

Signs and Wonders: The Mark of a Believer

One of the things I admire most about Brother Tim is his unwavering belief in the signs and wonders that should follow believers. He often references Mark 16:17-18 (KJV), where Jesus says:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Brother Tim’s life is a living testimony to these verses. He’s seen demons cast out, healings, and even a man raised from the dead in Haiti.

Raising the Dead: A Miracle in Haiti

One of the most powerful stories Brother Tim shared was about a man in Haiti who had been practicing voodoo against him. This man collapsed into a coma and eventually died. When Brother Tim arrived at the house, the Holy Spirit told him it was time to raise the dead.

I laid on the dead body, put my nose on his nose, and commanded him to rise in Jesus’ name. The next thing I knew, I was standing, and he was looking me in the eye.”

Today, that man is a worship leader in their church. From pronouncing curses to leading worship—only God can do that!

Discerning God’s Voice: Keys to Spiritual Growth

Another topic we explored was how to discern God’s voice. Brother Tim emphasized the importance of knowing Scripture and being obedient to what God says.

If it agrees with Scripture, it’s God. If Jesus did it, we can do it. If Jesus said don’t do it, we don’t do it.”

He also shared how confirmation plays a key role in discerning God’s will. Just like Gideon asked for signs, we too can seek confirmation when we’re unsure.

Why Don’t We See More Miracles in America?

This is a question many of us have asked. Brother Tim believes it’s largely due to false teaching and a lack of faith.

In Haiti and Serbia, people trust God because if He doesn’t heal them, they’ll die. In America, we’ve been taught to trust doctors and medicine instead of God.”

He challenged us to examine our own lives and ask: Are we truly believing God for the impossible?

Personal Reflections: Walking in Faith

As I listened to Brother Tim’s stories, I was reminded of my own journey. In 1995, I had a powerful encounter with God where He told me to “read the instructions”—meaning the Bible. Over the years, I’ve learned that the more we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, the clearer His voice becomes.

Brother Tim’s life is a testament to what happens when we take God at His Word and step out in faith, even when it looks ridiculous. You have probably heard, “You’ve got to be willing to look stupid for Jesus.”

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s this: God is still in the miracle business. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whether you’re facing a seemingly impossible situation or simply longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus, don’t settle for less than what God has promised.

I encourage you to:

1. Dive into Scripture and let it shape your faith.

2. Seek mentors who walk in the signs of a believer.

3. Step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable.

If you’d like to learn more from Brother Tim, check out his book, Discernment: Keys to Unlocking the Benefits

Thank you for joining me on this journey. If this post resonated with you, please share it with your friends and family. Let’s spread the good news that Jesus is alive and still working miracles today!

Until next time, keep seeking Him,

Conrad

Tucker Carlson's Demonic Night Terror: A Biblical Perspective on Spiritual Warfare

Tucker Carlson's Night Terror: A Biblical Analysis of Demonic Attacks

Hey there, fellow seekers of truth! It's Conrad from ConradRocks.Net, and today we're diving into a topic that's been making waves in the mainstream media - Tucker Carlson's encounter with a demonic night terror. As someone who's experienced and studied supernatural phenomena for years, I'm here to shed some light on this eye-opening event and offer a biblical perspective on spiritual warfare.

The Shocking Revelation: Tucker Carlson's Demonic Encounter

When I first heard about Tucker Carlson's interview regarding his demonic night terror experience, I was both intrigued and concerned. It's not every day that a prominent public figure openly discusses such a deeply personal and supernatural encounter. Let's break down what happened and why it matters.

Tucker described waking up in the middle of the night, unable to breathe and feeling like he was being suffocated. When he finally managed to turn on the lights, he discovered claw marks on his body - physical evidence of a spiritual attack. This, my friends, is a classic case of a demonic night terror, distinct from the more common sleep paralysis.

What's particularly striking about Tucker's experience is that his wife and dogs, who were in the bed with him, didn't wake up during the attack. This phenomenon of others remaining asleep during supernatural encounters is something I've observed in many cases, and it raises questions about how the enemy operates during these attacks.

Demonic Night Terrors vs. Sleep Paralysis: Understanding the Difference

As someone who's dealt with demonic attacks and helps others overcome them, I can tell you that there's a crucial difference between demonic night terrors and sleep paralysis. While sleep paralysis is a physiological phenomenon that affects about 8% of the population, demonic night terrors are spiritual attacks that often leave physical marks - just like in Tucker's case.

Sleep paralysis typically involves:

Temporary inability to move or speak

Feeling of pressure on the chest

Hallucinations or sensing a presence in the room

Demonic night terrors, on the other hand, can include:

Physical marks or injuries

Intense feelings of evil or oppression

Supernatural phenomena (like objects moving)

A clear sense of a malevolent presence

In my book, "Overcoming Night Terror: Making the Demons Leave," I dive deep into these differences and provide biblical strategies for protection and deliverance. It's essential to understand that these attacks are real and can happen to anyone, regardless of their fame or status.

Historical Context of Demonic Attacks

Tucker's experience isn't an isolated incident. Throughout history, there have been documented cases of similar supernatural attacks. Let me share a few notable examples:

Clarita Villa Nueva (1953): This 17-year-old girl in Manila experienced terrifying demonic attacks that left physical bite marks on her body. These marks were witnessed by medical specialists and even the mayor of Manila.

Doris Bither Case (1974): This case, which inspired the movie "The Entity," involved a woman who experienced physical attacks, including bruises and scratches. Researchers even witnessed her levitate during poltergeist activity.

Roland Doe Case (1940s): This is the case that inspired "The Exorcist." The young boy experienced various supernatural phenomena, including levitation and physical marks on his body.

These historical cases remind us that what Tucker experienced is part of a long-standing spiritual battle that has been going on for centuries.

Biblical Insights on Spiritual Warfare

Now, let's look at what the Bible says about these kinds of attacks and how we can protect ourselves:

Psalm 91:5 assures us, "You will not fear the terror of night." This verse directly addresses the issue of night terrors and promises God's protection.

James 4:7-8 instructs us to "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." This is a powerful strategy for dealing with demonic attacks.

Ephesians 6:10-18 talks about putting on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. This passage gives us a detailed breakdown of our spiritual armor:

Belt of truth

Breastplate of righteousness

Feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace

Shield of faith

Helmet of salvation

Sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God)

1 Peter 5:8-9 warns us to "Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith."

These scriptures remind us that we're not powerless against spiritual attacks. As believers, we have the authority of Jesus Christ to command these entities to leave.

Personal Reflections: My Journey with Demonic Attacks

I remember when I first started experiencing demonic attacks. Like Tucker, I was confused and terrified. I didn't have the biblical knowledge or spiritual maturity to understand what was happening. This led me to explore New Age practices, searching for answers in all the wrong places.

It wasn't until I had a powerful encounter with Jesus in 1995 that things changed. God gave me an intense desire to read the Bible, and as I immersed myself in His Word, I found the answers and protection I'd been seeking all along.

My experiences taught me several crucial lessons:

The importance of biblical literacy in spiritual warfare

The power of the name of Jesus in confronting demonic forces

The necessity of a personal relationship with Christ for true protection

The role of community in overcoming spiritual attacks

These lessons have shaped my ministry and my approach to helping others who face similar struggles.

The Church's Role in Spiritual Warfare

One thing that struck me about Tucker's story was his distrust of Christian pastors and his desire to read the Bible for himself. This highlights a significant issue in many churches today - a lack of biblical literacy when it comes to spiritual warfare.

As a body of believers, we need to reclaim the power and authority that Jesus gave us. The early church, as described in the book of Acts, was full of supernatural manifestations. We need to return to that level of faith and expectancy, equipping believers to stand firm against spiritual attacks.

Here are some ways the church can step up:

Provide solid biblical teaching on spiritual warfare

Create safe spaces for people to share their supernatural experiences

Offer prayer and deliverance ministries

Encourage personal Bible study and application

Foster a culture of spiritual growth and maturity

Practical Steps for Overcoming Demonic Night Terrors

If you're struggling with demonic night terrors, here are some practical steps you can take:

Immerse yourself in God's Word. Like Tucker, develop a hunger for the Bible.

Pray for protection, using scriptures like Psalm 91. Personalize these verses and declare them over your life and home.

Exercise your authority in Christ. Command the demons to leave in Jesus' name. Remember, they must obey the name of Jesus when spoken with faith and authority.

Seek support from mature believers who understand spiritual warfare. Don't try to fight this battle alone.

Cleanse your home and life of any objects or practices that might be giving the enemy a foothold. This could include occult items, certain types of music, or unhealthy relationships.

Develop a consistent prayer and worship routine. Creating an atmosphere of praise can be a powerful deterrent to demonic activity.

Consider reading resources like my books "Open Your Eyes: My Supernatural Journey" and "Overcoming Night Terror: Making the Demons Leave" for more in-depth strategies.

If the attacks persist, consider seeking help from a deliverance ministry or a pastor experienced in spiritual warfare.

The Bigger Picture: What Tucker's Experience Teaches Us

Tucker Carlson's experience brings the reality of spiritual warfare into the mainstream conversation. It's a wake-up call for the church and an opportunity for believers to step up and offer biblical solutions to those experiencing similar attacks.

Moreover, it reminds us that God can use even negative experiences to draw people closer to Him. Tucker's encounter led him to read the Bible intensively for a year and a half, transforming his spiritual life. This aligns with Romans 8:28, which tells us that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him.

The Importance of Discernment

While it's crucial to take spiritual warfare seriously, it's equally important to exercise discernment. Not every strange experience is a demonic attack, and not every problem has a spiritual root. We need to balance our awareness of the supernatural with wisdom and sound judgment.

Here are some tips for developing spiritual discernment:

Study the Bible regularly to understand God's character and ways

Pray for wisdom and discernment (James 1:5)

Seek counsel from mature believers

Test everything against Scripture (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

Be aware of your own biases and preconceptions

The Power of Testimony

Tucker Carlson's willingness to share his experience publicly is a powerful reminder of the impact of personal testimony. In Revelation 12:11, we're told that believers overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony.

By sharing our experiences with demonic attacks and how God delivered us, we can:

Encourage others who may be suffering in silence

Bring awareness to the reality of spiritual warfare

Point people towards the power and protection found in Christ

Break the stigma surrounding supernatural experiences in the church

Standing Firm in Spiritual Battles

As we wrap up, remember that demonic night terrors, while terrifying, are not insurmountable. With the power of God's Word and the authority we have in Christ, we can overcome these attacks and help others do the same.

If Tucker Carlson's story resonates with you, or if you've had similar experiences, I encourage you to dive deeper into God's Word and seek His protection. Don't let fear paralyze you - instead, let it propel you towards a deeper relationship with Jesus.

Remember these key points:

Demonic attacks are real, but so is God's protection

The Bible is our ultimate guide for understanding and overcoming spiritual warfare

We have authority in Christ to resist the enemy

Personal testimony is a powerful tool in helping others and glorifying God

The church needs to reclaim its role in equipping believers for spiritual battles

Final Thoughts

As we navigate this complex spiritual landscape, let's remain grounded in God's Word and open to His supernatural power. Whether you're a skeptic, a curious seeker, or someone who has experienced demonic attacks firsthand, I encourage you to approach this topic with an open mind and a seeking heart.

Tucker Carlson's experience has opened up a crucial conversation about the reality of spiritual warfare in our modern world. Let's use this opportunity to deepen our understanding, strengthen our faith, and reach out to those who may be struggling with similar experiences.

Unlocking Spiritual Power: Praying the Psalms and Lord's Prayer

Transform Your Prayer Life: Unlock Spiritual Insights

Hey there, fellow spiritual seekers! Conrad here from ConradRocks.Net. Today, I want to share with you an incredible revelation that has reignited my prayer life and deepened my connection with God. It's a powerful approach to prayer that combines the timeless wisdom of the Psalms with the transformative template of the Lord's Prayer. This method isn't just a suggestion – it's a command from Jesus himself, and I'm excited to show you how it can revolutionize your spiritual journey.

The Power of Praying "After This Manner"

When Jesus taught his disciples to pray in Matthew 6, he used a specific Greek word, "houtos," which means "after this manner." It's not about reciting a rigid formula, but rather following a model or template for prayer. This approach keeps us focused on God's will, aligning our hearts with His purpose.

As I've rediscovered this method of prayer, I've noticed something amazing happening. Psalm 37:4 says, "Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." By praying the Psalms and the Lord's Prayer, we're truly delighting ourselves in God, and in turn, He's shaping the desires of our hearts to match His will.

The Sources Invloved

To fully grasp the power of this prayer method, it's crucial to understand the main sources of information we encounter during this kind of prayer:

The Word of God (Scripture)

The Spirit of Truth (Holy Spirit)

Our Heart (Internal Monologue)

Our Conscious Mind

When we pray "after this manner," we learn to discern between these sources, especially distinguishing the voice of the Holy Spirit from our own thoughts and emotions.

Building a Strong Foundation

Before diving into this deeper level of prayer, it's essential to have a solid foundation in Scripture. Jesus emphasized building our spiritual house on the rock of His teachings (Matthew 7:24-27). This foundation of biblical knowledge allows us to accurately discern the Spirit's leading and protects us from deception.

The Nuts and Bolts of Praying the Psalms and Lord's Prayer

Now, let's get practical. Here's how to apply this powerful prayer method:

Start with the Lord's Prayer as a template (Matthew 6:9-13).

Take each line slowly, meditating on its meaning.

Allow your heart to respond, addressing any objections or questions that arise.

Listen for the Spirit of Truth to bring Scripture to mind or provide insight.

Be watchful in the spirit, paying attention to any visions or impressions.

Incorporate relevant Psalms to expand on themes in the Lord's Prayer.

For example, when praying "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name," you might:

Reflect on God's nature as a loving Father

Address any heart issues regarding your relationship with Him

Listen for the Spirit's affirmation of your identity as God's child

Visualize God's holiness and majesty

Watching in the Spirit

Ephesians 6:18 encourages us to pray "in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people." This watchfulness in prayer opens us up to receive visions, words of knowledge, and deeper spiritual insights.

As you pray, be attentive to:

Images or symbols that appear in your mind's eye

Scriptures that suddenly come to memory

Emotions or physical sensations that align with what you're praying

A sense of God's presence or leading

The Benefits of Praying After This Manner

Aligns our will with God's will

Increases our spiritual discernment

Deepens our understanding of Scripture

Strengthens our faith and trust in God

Enhances our ability to hear God's voice

Prepares us for more effective ministry and evangelism

Personal Reflection

Since I've returned to this method of prayer, I've experienced a renewed sense of purpose and clarity in my spiritual life. Dreams and visions from years ago are suddenly making sense, and I feel more in tune with God's calling on my life than ever before.

This approach to prayer isn't about brainwashing ourselves or vain repetition. Instead, it's an invitation to engage in a dynamic, transformative conversation with our Heavenly Father. It addresses the objections of our hearts, renews our minds, and opens us up to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Conclusion

I encourage you to try this method of praying the Psalms and Lord's Prayer for yourself. Start with just a few minutes a day and see how it transforms your prayer life. As you practice, you'll develop greater discernment and a deeper connection with God.

Remember, this isn't about perfection – it's about pursuing an intimate, spiritual relationship with Jesus. Be patient with yourself as you learn to distinguish between the voice of your heart, your mind, and the Holy Spirit.

I'd love to hear about your experiences as you explore this powerful prayer method. Leave a comment, or reach out to me on social media. Let's encourage one another as we dig deeper to go higher in our spiritual lives!

Exploring the Four Main Sources of Spiritual Information

Beyond the Veil: Understanding Spiritual Information and Its Sources

Today, we're diving into a topic that could transform your spiritual journey—the four main sources of information in the spirit realm.

Introduction

Have you ever wondered where the insights you receive during prayer or meditation come from? As someone who has been born again since 1995 and spent countless hours praying for others and myself, I've learned the importance of discernment. Understanding the source of spiritual information is crucial, whether it’s God, demons, our own hearts, or projections from others. Let’s explore these sources together.

The Main Sources of Spiritual Information

Demons: The Deceptive Enemy

Demons are real, and their main goal is to mislead and draw us away from the truth. They often present false information to waste our time and thwart the gospel. In Deuteronomy 5:09, we learn about the generational curses that demons carry out. These familiar spirits know our family history well, which is why they can be so deceptive.

In my book, "Open Your Eyes: My Supernatural Journey," I recount an experience where I cast out a demon that manifested as a black cloud. This was a powerful reminder of Jesus’ words in Mark 16:17, where believers are empowered to cast out demons. Developing discernment over time is key to recognizing when we are dealing with these spiritual entities.

Our Own Deceitful Hearts

Jeremiah 17:9 tells us that "the heart is deceitful above all things." Our subconscious mind can project thoughts that seem spiritual but aren't divinely inspired. Imagine your mind as a ship's captain and your heart as the crew. If the crew doesn’t align with the captain’s orders, chaos ensues. Similarly, if our hearts aren’t aligned with God, we become double-minded and unstable in our spiritual pursuits.

Praying consistently and purifying our hearts, as James 4:8 suggests, helps us discern whether our insights are internal or divinely inspired. I've explored this in depth in my podcast, "Communing with Our Hearts: Real Positive Life Change."

Projections from Others

We are always projecting something in the spirit, consciously or unconsciously. Consider it similar to how we can sometimes sense when someone is looking at us from across a room even without seeing them directly. This intuitive sense can also be likened to the way our prayers are deposited into the spirit realm, as seen in Revelation 5:8 and 8:4, where the prayers of the saints are described as rising like incense before God.

A personal experience I had involved perceiving a woman’s prayer for a specific house while at a restaurant. This highlighted how we can pick up on spiritual projections from others, which can be used for spirit-led evangelism.

God: The Ultimate Source

The ideal source of spiritual information is God Himself. He can communicate through internal voices, visions, and even dreams, as we see throughout Scripture. When God reveals information, it’s often a significant event that demands action, like in Acts 13 or Acts 16.

I recall attending a prophetic conference where God’s voice was so loud internally that it drowned out everything else. These experiences have taught me that God’s voice can be as powerful as many waters (Revelation 14:2) or as gentle as a still small voice (1 Kings 19:12).

Developing Discernment

To better navigate these sources, we must:

Read the Bible Daily: Familiarize yourself with God's word, which is a discerner of thoughts and intentions (Hebrews 4:12).

Develop a Consistent Prayer Life: Engage fully in prayer, listening for God’s voice.

Keep a Spiritual Journal: Document your spiritual experiences to track your growth in discernment.

Seek Godly Mentorship: Find a mature believer to guide you and provide accountability.

Discerning the source of spiritual information enriches our prayer life and spirit-led evangelism. By understanding these four sources, we align ourselves more closely with God’s truth. Practice patience, seek counsel, and may your journey be marked by wisdom and a deeper connection with God.

Thank you for being a part of my life and supporting what we are doing with the "Coffee with Conrad" Podcast.  My passion is for you to develop a spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus.

Let me know what you think!

From Novice to Master: Cultivating Your Calling in Christ

The Importance of Deliberate Practice

The Apostle Paul, in his letter to Timothy, emphasizes the importance of diligence and practice in our spiritual lives:

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." (2 Timothy 2:15, KJV)

This verse underscores the need for deliberate effort in our spiritual growth. It's not enough to merely read the Bible; we must study it, meditate upon it, and apply its teachings to our lives. This requires intentional practice and a willingness to stretch ourselves beyond our comfort zones.

Consider the analogy of learning to drive a car. One doesn't become a proficient driver by simply reading the manual or watching others drive. It requires hands-on experience, practice, and a willingness to face challenging situations on the road. Similarly, our spiritual growth demands active participation and consistent effort.

The Journey from Novice to Master

Let's explore the stages of spiritual growth using the analogy of learning to drive:

1. Philosopher (The Manual Reader): At this stage, we're acquainted with the basics of faith. We read the Bible, attend church, and have a general understanding of Christian principles. However, our knowledge is largely theoretical.

2. Initiate (The Learner): Depending on what our gifting is, we start stepping out and applying it under the guidance of a mentor. Or we may exercise this gift in the marketplace, learn from it, and then discuss it with our mentor later.

3. Disciple (The Practitioner): At this stage, we're actively living out our faith. We're not just hearers of the Word, but doers also, as James 1:22 (KJV) instructs: "But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves." We're developing our spiritual gifts and finding ways to serve in the church and community.

4. Master (The Mentor): Having matured in faith and practice, we now guide others. We're fulfilling the Great Commission as stated in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV): "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you."

This progression mirrors not only our personal growth but also our responsibility to make disciples. As we grow, we're called to help others along their spiritual journey.

Identifying and Nurturing Your Calling

Each believer has a unique calling and spiritual gifts. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 (KJV):

"Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all."

To identify and nurture your calling:

1. Pray for guidance and discernment.

2. Study the Scriptures to understand spiritual gifts.

3. Reflect on your passions and the areas where you feel most fulfilled when serving.

4. Seek feedback from mature believers who know you well.

5. Try serving in different capacities to discover where you're most effective.

Once you've identified your calling, it's crucial to work on it daily. This could involve:

- Studying relevant Scriptures

- Practicing your gift (e.g., praying for people for healing or words of knowledge)

- Seeking opportunities to serve using your gift

- Reflecting on your experiences and learning from them

The Role of Mentors

Mentorship is a crucial aspect of spiritual growth. A good mentor can guide you, challenge you, and help you develop your gifts. When seeking a mentor, look for someone who:

1. Demonstrates the signs of a believer as mentioned in Mark 16:17-18 (KJV): "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

2. Is gifted in the same area as your calling. If you're called to healing ministry, seek a mentor with a proven gift of healing. If your gift is words of knowledge, find a mentor who excels in this area.

3. Exhibits spiritual maturity and a Christ-like character.

4. Is willing to invest time in your growth and development.

Remember, mentorship is a relationship. Be open to guidance, willing to learn, and ready to apply what you're taught.

Taking Action: From Knowledge to Practice in the Marketplace

As we conclude, it's crucial to emphasize that knowledge without action is fruitless. James 2:17 (KJV) reminds us, "Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone." Here are practical steps to move from knowledge to action with the gift of words of knowledge:

1. Set Specific Goals: Identify areas where you want to grow spiritually and set measurable goals. For example, aim to step out in faith with a word of knowledge in a public setting once a week.

2. Create a Daily Practice: Dedicate time each day to work on your calling. This could be through study, prayer, or practical application of your gift.

3. Seek Opportunities in the Marketplace: Look for divine appointments in everyday places like grocery stores, parks, or your workplace.

4. Start Small: Begin by sharing simple impressions, like sensing someone needs encouragement about a specific situation.

5. Reflect and Adjust: After each attempt, reflect on what happened. What did you learn? How can you improve?

6. Stay Accountable: Share your experiences with a mentor or trusted friend who can provide guidance and encouragement.

7. Embrace Challenges: Growth often comes through challenges. Don't be discouraged by mistakes or misses. Each attempt is a learning opportunity.

Practical Example

Imagine you're at a coffee shop and feel prompted that someone nearby is struggling with a shoulder injury. Here's how you might approach the situation:

1. Pray silently, asking God for confirmation and wisdom.

2. Look around for someone who might be favoring their shoulder or showing signs of discomfort.

3. Approach the person kindly and say something like, "Excuse me, this might sound strange, but I felt I should ask if you're having trouble with your shoulder. I believe God wants you to know He sees your pain and wants to heal you."

4. If they confirm, offer to pray for them right there. If not, graciously thank them for their time.

Conclusion

The journey of spiritual growth and discipleship is ongoing. It requires deliberate effort, consistent practice, and a willingness to stretch beyond our comfort zones. As we progress from philosophers to initiates, from disciples to masters, we not only grow in our own faith but also become equipped to guide others.

Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 3:13-14 (KJV): "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

Let these words inspire you to press on, to stretch yourself daily, and to actively pursue the calling God has placed on your life. As you do, you'll find yourself growing in faith, impacting others, and experiencing the joy of walking in God's purpose for your life.

Now, armed with this knowledge and encouragement, it's time to take action. What step will you take today towards growing in the gift of words of knowledge, or healing? How will you stretch yourself and move from merely reading about this gift to actively using it in the marketplace? The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. Take that step today, and watch as God works through your faithfulness to transform not only your life but the lives of those around you.

From Witchcraft to Worship: Alexandria Butler's Radical Transformation

The Transformative Power of the Holy Spirit

Today on Coffee with Conrad, I had the incredible privilege of interviewing Alexandria Butler, a woman with a powerful testimony of God's redemptive love and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Alexandria's story is one that will inspire and encourage you, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Growing up surrounded by the darkness of witchcraft and bitterness, Alexandria seemed destined for a life of pain and negativity. But God had other plans. Through a divine encounter on Interstate 35, Jesus met Alexandria in her brokenness and radically changed the trajectory of her life.

Here is the Audio Podcast Version of our interview:

As Alexandria shared her story with me, I was struck by the parallels in our own testimonies. Like Alexandria, I too struggled with demonic torment as a child. But also like her, I had grandparents and relatives who sowed seeds of faith into my life from a young age. Those seeds, planted in love, bore fruit years later as we each surrendered our lives to Christ.

One of the most impactful parts of Alexandria's testimony was hearing about her journey to being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Despite facing opposition and confusion, Alexandria persisted in her pursuit of this precious gift. And when she finally received it, the change in her life was undeniable. She went from being burdened and heavy to feeling 100 pounds lighter - delivered and set free to live in victory.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit also empowered Alexandria for ministry. No longer content to sit on the sidelines, she began actively sharing the gospel, laying hands on the sick, and casting out demons. Her story is proof that God wants to use all of us to advance His Kingdom, if we will simply yield to His Spirit.

Alexandria's testimony carries an important message for the Church today. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life. We need His anointing to be effective witnesses for Christ. My prayer is that her story will light a fire in your heart, that you too would seek after the fullness of the Spirit.

Here is the Live Interview:

I also hope this interview encourages any grandparents listening. Never underestimate the importance of sowing spiritual seeds into your grandchildren's lives. Your prayers and godly example can make an eternal difference, even if you don't see the fruit right away. Keep planting and watering, knowing God will bring the growth.

I'm so grateful Alexandria took the time to share her story with us. I know it will be a blessing and an inspiration to all who hear it. My friends, if you don't know the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, I encourage you to cry out to God for it. He is faithful to fill those who hunger and thirst for Him. And that fullness is available for you today.

From Brokenness to Impact: Richard's Story

A Powerful Testimony of God's Transforming Love: Richard James Dixon Jr.'s Story

Recently on the "Coffee with Conrad" podcast, I had the privilege of interviewing Richard James Dixon Jr. from Real Talk Interactive about his powerful testimony of how Jesus Christ transformed his life. This inspiring story is a must-listen for any Christian who loves to hear about the supernatural power of God at work.

Richard grew up in a godly family with six siblings. His parents raised them in holiness, but Richard admits he was a mischievous child who acted out and put his parents through a lot. Even at a young age though, he felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit whenever he misbehaved.

One pivotal moment came when God allowed Richard to see how exhausted his mother was with his behavior. It broke his heart and he realized he needed to change. Around this time, Richard also experienced sexual abuse from someone outside the family. This left deep scars that affected him mentally for years to come.

As he matured, Richard threw himself into church activities like playing drums, teaching Sunday school and leading youth ministry. But inside he still struggled with the trauma of his abuse. After a girlfriend tragically died, Richard turned cold-hearted, feeling like he was toxic and nobody should be close to him.

But God wasn't done with Richard's story. He brought Jennifer into Richard's life, a woman who persistently pursued a relationship with him. Though Richard resisted at first, God made it clear that Jennifer was the one for him. Their marriage became a powerful ministry and testimony of God's love.

During the pandemic, God laid it on Richard's heart to start Positiv Impact, a non-profit dedicated to providing positive atmospheres and support for at-risk youth in the community. Having experienced the breakdown of the family firsthand, Richard knows how vital it is for the church to minister outside its four walls.

One of Richard's greatest joys is seeing the darkness lift from these young people's faces as they experience the love of God through his ministry. As he vulnerably shared about his own suicidal thoughts in the past, Richard testified that it was only by God's grace and the support of family and church that he made it through.

No matter what poor decisions we make or what evil comes against us, Richard's story is proof that God can redeem anything for our good and His glory. If you feel lost, broken or too far gone, know that nothing is too hard for God. He is ready and willing to transform your life just like He did for Richard.
