From Pain to Platform: A Spiritual, Prophetic, Supernatural Move of Jesus in Daleville

Testimony Interview with Phil and Tina Ferger

Introduction

Recently on Coffee with Conrad, I sat down with Phil and Tina Fer—a married couple in Daleville, Alabama—whose testimony carries a prophetic edge and a supernatural invitation. Their story is raw, real, and rooted in Jesus. What the enemy meant for destruction over four decades, the Lord flipped into a living platform of freedom, healing, and deliverance through a simple tent outreach held twice a month in Daleville, Alabama.

This isn’t theory. This is the gospel on the ground—outside the walls, under a canopy, with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, prayer, worship, and the power of Jesus confronting the gates of hell. It’s spiritual. It’s prophetic. It’s supernatural. And it’s working.

How Jesus Turned Pain into a Platform

The Marriage—41 Years of Torment, One Encounter of Freedom

Phil and Tina have been married 42 years. For 41 of those years, the enemy ran roughshod through their home. Their words, not mine:

“For 41 years we were two broken people carrying pain from childhood... Without Jesus at the center, the enemy ran wild with our lives.”

On December 31, 2024, Tina made a simple, spiritual decision. She made an altar in front of her TV and surrendered everything—pain, control, and the impulse to fix her husband. That same month, at the River of Ozark Church, Phil had a radical encounter with God. He was slain in the Spirit twice, and in that moment Jesus delivered him from pornography, anger, addiction, shame—even the medicine he had been warned to depend on. Forty-one years of torment were broken by one supernatural encounter with the living God. As Scripture says, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36, KJV).

Listening to the Holy Spirit—Obedience That Defies Fear

The spiritual backbone of their story is simple obedience to Jesus. Phil describes the Lord leading him with a clarity that shifted his whole life:

“Trust in me, and I’ll make you free.”

Tina, driving one day, heard in her spirit, “Reverse the curse.” She prayed specifically over Phil’s medicine two weeks before he told her he had stopped everything cold turkey. I’m not giving medical advice—this is their testimony of hearing Jesus and following His voice. Their lives now model the prophetic lifestyle that is both spiritual and practical: hear God, obey God, and let the fruit speak for itself.

Why a Tent? Because Jesus Goes Where the Fish Are

Before Alabama, Phil and Tina had often served quietly—Thanksgiving dinners at missions, prayer in their shop, food and encouragement whenever they could. When they moved to Daleville, the Lord nudged them to start an outreach right where they live. They started with a 10x10 pop-up tent, a tailgate, peanut butter and jelly, chips, and water. That’s it. Rain or shine, they showed up.

“Everything we have now in this ministry is donated... the generator, tables, chairs, clothes—people just pull up and give.”

I’ve been there. I’ve watched the Holy Spirit draw people like a beacon. Some come for a sandwich and stay for prayer. Some come because “something” told them to turn around. We know who that “something” is. As Psalm 22:3 (KJV) says, “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel.” When worship rises, the presence of God draws the hungry and confronts the darkness.

Miracles at the Tent—Deliverance, Salvation, and New Life

We’ve seen powerful moments under that canvas. Consider Curtis, known around town for being a bully. He came under the tent for food, and the power of God met him.

“He buckled. He went to his knees. He left without eating because he couldn’t believe what the Lord did.”

He’s not the bully anymore. People say it all over town. Another time, a woman walked up barefoot, fleeing abuse. She had refused prayer several times before, but that day, under the tent, the Holy Spirit confronted her oppression. She manifested. We didn’t leave her there. In about ten minutes, the demon was cast out, she received Jesus, and said, “They’re gone.” That’s not a program. That’s Jesus keeping His word: “And these signs shall follow them that believe… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17–18, KJV).

There are countless stories: someone comes for lunch, leaves with salvation; another gets prayer and finds a job; a person in crisis receives peace; a man recognizes the call of God stirring inside him and the light turns on. These encounters are prophetic—targeted, Spirit-led words and prayers that bring people out of darkness and into the kingdom of Jesus.

Provision Follows Obedience—Don’t Put the Physical Cart Before the Spiritual Horse

People often ask how to fund an outreach. Here’s the spiritual key: obey first, and God provides. I’ve watched people drive up and donate money, food, clothes—even a generator. If you wait for every logistical duck to be in a row, you’ll never go. But if you go, you’ll see God show up. As Jesus said, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Matthew 6:33, KJV).

“If God says go do it… go do it and see how God shows up.”

Personal Reflections: What I’m Learning on the Streets

I’ve done street ministry long enough to know it’ll transform you before it transforms your city. The first battle is internal—overcoming fear, comfort, and the impulse to wait. But when you cross that threshold, the prophetic and supernatural life Jesus promised comes into view. You begin to see what Paul meant when he said, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities… against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Ephesians 6:12, KJV). The person in front of you isn’t the enemy. The agenda behind the pain is.

I call it “catching the prophetic football.” You share a word of knowledge or a verse, and their eyes light up. The truth lands. The Holy Spirit connects the dots. That’s why I often reference Amos 9:11—the tabernacle of David—because there’s something about the tent, worship, and presence that opens people to the voice of God. Under that covering, with worship music flowing, Jesus does what He always does: He heals the brokenhearted, preaches deliverance to captives, and sets people free.

Honestly, the biggest tragedy isn’t that darkness is bold; it’s that believers hesitate. Romans 10 describes a world in which preachers should be on every corner. Phil and Tina are senior citizens (Phil is 71) and still hauling poles, tarps, tables, and coolers in the heat. If they can do that with joy, what excuse do the rest of us have?

Biblical Foundations: Why This Is Spiritual, Prophetic, and Supernatural

  • Jesus promises an offensive church:Upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18, KJV). Gates don’t attack—saints do. We go to the gates.
  • The Great Commission requires going: Jesus never said “wait for them to come”; He said “go.” In practical, prophetic terms, that means taking the church to the streets.
  • Deliverance and healing are normal Christianity:And these signs shall follow them that believe… they shall cast out devils… they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover” (Mark 16:17–18, KJV).
  • Testimony is a weapon:And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11, KJV). The Fergers’ story disarms shame and sparks faith.
  • The enemy’s strategy is consistent:The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy” (John 10:10, KJV). He thrives in secrecy; testimony exposes and defeats him.
  • Worship invites the King:But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” (Psalm 22:3, KJV). Where Jesus is enthroned, devils manifest and flee.
  • Don’t conform—be transformed:Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2, KJV). This mindset shift—from spectator to sent one—is a spiritual, prophetic renewal.
  • Freedom is in abiding:If ye continue in my word… ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:31–32, KJV). The tent is a place where the Word is heard, believed, and obeyed.

For convenient study, here are KJV links to a few of the verses mentioned: John 8:36, Mark 16:17–18, Revelation 12:11, John 10:10, Psalm 22:3, Romans 12:1–2, Ephesians 6:12.

Field Notes: Practical Steps to Start Your Own Tent (or Pop-Up) Outreach

The spiritual principles are prophetic and supernatural, but the logistics are refreshingly simple. Here’s how Phil and Tina started—and how you can too:

  1. Start small; start now. A 10x10 pop-up tent, a folding table, coolers, PB&J, chips, water. Don’t wait for perfect conditions.
  2. Pray and worship first. Invite the Holy Spirit intentionally. Play worship music. Expect Jesus to move. “He inhabits the praises of His people” (Psalm 22:3, KJV).
  3. Offer practical love. Food, clothing, toiletries—whatever you have. Ask what’s needed. If you can do it, do it.
  4. Share the gospel clearly. Phil and Tina use a simple prayer card to lead people to Jesus. You can prepare a clear salvation script and carry copies. Keep bibles handy.
  5. Pray with people, not just for them. Ask permission. Lay hands when appropriate. Expect healing and deliverance in Jesus’ name.
  6. Expect manifestations—and be ready. Don’t be surprised when demons manifest. Stay calm, submit to Jesus, command them to go (Mark 16:17–18). Keep safety and dignity central.
  7. Follow up and disciple. Get first names and contact info (with permission). Point them to a solid, Spirit-filled local fellowship. Share Scripture, pray during the week, and celebrate wins.
  8. Trust God for provision. Testimonies draw generosity. People will give when they see fruit. Keep humble records. Be transparent. Give thanks publicly.
  9. Consider permissions and partnerships. Check with local authorities for park/pavilion use. Build relationships with city leaders. Honor the community you serve.
  10. Guard unity at home. The enemy will try to sow strife. Keep short accounts, pray together, share the load. Remember: “We overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony” (Revelation 12:11, KJV).

If you feel that tug in your spirit, that’s your invitation. Don’t put the physical cart before the spiritual horse. Obey first, and watch the kingdom provision follow.

Why This Matters Now

We live in a noisy era—filled with digital, cultural, and spiritual distractions. People are desperate for authentic experiences, not staged performances, and they're finding that in a real relationship with Jesus. The true prophetic voice of the church isn't found in isolated groups but in active service on the front lines, where people are hurting, hungry, and in need of freedom. By reaching out to one community at a time, we demonstrate that the gospel still holds the power to save.

Phil and Tina’s story dismantles excuses. They are living proof that a spiritual, prophetic, supernatural life is available to “whosoever will.” If Jesus can redeem 41 years of torment and turn that pain into a platform for revival in Daleville, He can take your testimony and do the same in your city.

Conclusion and Call to Action

Friend, I want to invite you to take a step today. If your heart is burning, don’t ignore it. Ask Jesus how He wants you to serve your city. Pray for boldness and start where you are. If you’re in the Daleville area and want to help Phil and Tina, reach out to me and I’ll get you connected.

Harold's Miraculous Jacket and the Unfolding Prophetic Truth

 The Deliverance Jacket!

Today, we're diving deep into a testimony that is going to absolutely rock your world. This isn't just a story; it's a supernatural encounter, a prophetic unfolding that speaks volumes about God's power to heal, deliver, and reveal truth in the most unexpected ways. I recently had the honor of interviewing my friend, Harold Vondenstein, on "Coffee with Conrad," and his journey is one that will inspire and challenge you. You can find more testimonies under the "Testimonies" label in the sidebar – stories of how Jesus heals, sets free, and delivers, even today. Harold's story is a powerful addition to that collection.

Harold shared an amazing testimony about a jacket – yes, a simple jacket – that became a canvas for divine revelation. This story has been unfolding for years, and the insights just keep pouring forth. So, buckle up, grab your coffee, and let's explore the incredible journey of Harold and his God-given jacket.

When God Speaks Through a Jacket

Boy, do I have a treat for you today! I've known Harold for a few years now. We first met at a music venue, became friends, and recently reconnected. And let me tell you, this man is on fire for God! At 72, overcoming physical difficulties, Harold is out there taking ground for Jesus, and he's a true inspiration. If he can do it, despite the challenges, what's stopping any of us?

What really captured me was his story about this jacket. He had a supernatural revelation, a direct word from the Lord about it. It’s a story of hitting rock bottom, encountering Jesus in a life-altering way, and receiving ongoing guidance that continues to amaze. Harold himself was wearing the "infamous jacket" during our interview, a tangible symbol of his incredible journey.

The Testimony of the Jacket – A Divine Blueprint

Harold's early life wasn't steeped in faith. He wasn't raised in a Christian family, never had a Bible, and spent most of his life struggling, with failed marriages, parenthood, and a general sense of things just not working. As he put it, his life was "crashing... all full of junk."

The Turning Point: A Cry in the Dark

It all came to a head on September 2nd, 2012. After 60 years of what felt like constant failure, Harold found himself in a fetal position, crying out to the Lord, begging for his life to end. But instead of an end, he found a new beginning. He sincerely prayed, "Lord, please, please just take over my life."

And Jesus answered. "It was just boom," Harold described. "He stepped in like a lightning bolt and he broke that spirit of death that was on me." In that moment, he heard a clear instruction: "Get up and get on down to that church down the road that you've been looking at... it doesn't matter if you're late." He obeyed, walked into the middle of a sermon on Romans 8, and for the first time, heard about unconditional love. His life was miraculously changed. That, my friends, is a true Acts chapter 9, road to Damascus encounter! Your life is never the same after something like that.

The Prophetic Jacket Revelation

Two years later, around Thanksgiving 2014, after a period of healing, Harold asked the Lord, "You've got to tell me what was wrong with my life. What was it that happened to me?" Again, God spoke. He told Harold to get a white jacket from his closet. He laid it on a table, and the Lord said, "Just start writing."

Words started pouring out of him onto that jacket. For about 20-25 minutes, he wrote like crazy, front and back. When he was done, the jacket was covered in words. The Lord told him, "This is what happened in your life."

Initially, Harold understood it as a representation of his sins, generational curses, trauma – everything that had opened doors for demonic infiltration in his life. He'd come to realize that demons were real and had been influencing him.

Unfolding Layers of Meaning

But the revelation didn't stop there. Years later, especially after a trip to Pennsylvania for intensive training with a minister named Kevin Riordan (whom I had the privilege of introducing him to), Harold gained a deeper understanding.

The Front of the Jacket: This represented all the sins, the open doors – things he had done, generational curses, traumas inflicted upon him. These were the entry points for the enemy.

The Back of the Jacket: This depicted the fruits of sin – poverty, bondage, bitterness, pornography addiction, infirmities, and afflictions.

Harold marveled, "There was no way I could have known that back then when I was writing." Even more astoundingly, he later realized the words were written in a pattern resembling crosses! This is so deeply biblical. As Isaiah 53 tells us, Jesus "was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5, KJV). He bore not only our sins but also our infirmities on that cross. Harold's jacket was a supernatural, visual testament to this profound truth.

Personal Reflections: When God Gets Personal

What I love about Harold's testimony is the raw honesty and the clear, direct way God communicated with him. He had no theological paradigms to filter it through; he was just hearing from God and then finding it confirmed in the Bible later. This is a beautiful example of how the Spirit and the Word agree!

It's also a powerful reminder that often, it's at our lowest point, our rock bottom, that we finally become open to encountering Jesus. My own journey has echoes of this. When you're stripped of everything, that's when His voice can become the clearest.

Harold's perseverance is another thing that deeply inspires me. Dealing with hearing issues and hip problems, relying on an e-bike to get around – many would use these as excuses to withdraw. But Harold? He's out there, sharing his faith, leading freedom nights at his church. He even traveled to Pennsylvania, overcoming significant obstacles, to seek deeper healing and understanding. That's faith in action!

His journey highlights the reality of spiritual warfare. The "open doors" he talked about – unsaved status, unrepented sin, disrespect, family involvement in witchcraft (Santoria), idolatry, unforgiveness – these are things that give the enemy legal ground. As Harold learned, these "allow the tormentors to come in."

Biblical References and Teachings: The Sword of the Spirit in Action

Harold's story is interwoven with powerful biblical truths. Understanding these scriptures is key to walking in the freedom he now experiences.

Deliverance is Real: Harold's experience with a deliverance minister, Everett Cox, where around a hundred demons were reportedly cast out, might sound shocking to some. But Jesus Himself cast out demons, and He gave His disciples authority to do the same. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils..." (Mark 16:17, KJV). Harold mentioned a list of 125 issues, which dropped to 59 after his initial encounter with Jesus, then to 12 after formal deliverance. This is the freedom Jesus promised when He said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36, KJV).

Our Authority in Christ: One of the most empowering revelations for Harold was Luke 10:19 (KJV): "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." As children of God, once we accept Christ, we have this authority. We don't have to be victims of the enemy's schemes.

The Importance of Renewing the Mind: Harold emphasized that deliverance is a process, a daily walk. A huge part of this is renewing your mind. As Paul writes in Romans 12:2 (KJV): "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." We must replace the enemy's lies and ungodly belief systems with God's truth. Harold found that about 75% of deliverance is about this mental and spiritual renewal.

The Father's Love: Despite all the hardship and the battles, the ultimate revelation for Harold was the Father's love. He used to think God was mad at him. But through his experiences, especially in Pennsylvania, he came to know God as "Abba Father," a loving Father who isn't angry but full of compassion. "He said, 'Look, son, I love you. Come, come sit here with me... There's some things that we need to work out... But you need to know that I love you.'" This echoes 1 John 4:16 (KJV): "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." This love trumps everything.

Soul Ties: Harold also touched on the concept of soul ties formed through sexual relationships outside of God's design for marriage. He explained how these ungodly connections can lead to taking on the other person's "demons" or baggage, emphasizing the need to break these ties in prayer. This aligns with the biblical principle of two becoming one flesh (1 Corinthians 6:16) and the spiritual implications of such unions.

The Ongoing Journey: "Are You Prepared?"

A particularly poignant moment in Harold's story came when his beloved wife, Paula, was passing away in January 2024 after a battle with cancer. As he held her hand, knowing she was going to be with the Lord, he heard three distinct words in his head: "Are you prepared?"

This wasn't about Paula's preparedness, but his own. It startled him and became a catalyst for deeper introspection. He realized he had backslidden in some areas and wasn't as ready as he thought. This divine question ignited a renewed hunger for God, for reading the Bible daily, for going deeper in his spiritual walk.

This reminds me of Matthew 24:44 (KJV): "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh." It's a call to constant vigilance and wholehearted pursuit of God.

And look at what God has done since Harold recommitted himself! He was living on the second floor, struggling financially after Paula's passing. He asked the Lord for a nearby church and affordable housing. God led him to Crossroads Assembly of God, half a mile away, where he found fellowship and love. Then, through the pastor's wife, an affordable apartment became available right next door to the church! As Harold said, "Favor of God!" This is a testament to Hebrews 11:6 (KJV): "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." If you're about God's business, He'll be about yours.

Now, Harold is leading "Freedom Night" at his church, sharing about deliverance and dispelling ungodly belief systems. He's even playing his "Bible Belt Blues" for Jesus at ministry gatherings. From a supernatural encounter with a jacket to a thriving ministry, God's hand is evident.

What's On Your Jacket? Are You Prepared?

Harold's incredible testimony – from the prophetic jacket to the deep understanding of deliverance and the Father's love, all punctuated by the piercing question, "Are you prepared?" – serves as a powerful wake-up call for all of us.

His journey from brokenness to a life empowered by the Holy Spirit shows that no one is beyond God's reach. The supernatural isn't just for Bible times; it's for today, for you and me.

So, I encourage you to reflect:

What's on your "jacket"? Are there areas in your life, past hurts, sins, or generational patterns that have opened doors to the enemy and are hindering your walk with Jesus?

Are you walking in the freedom Christ purchased for you? Deliverance isn't a scary word; it's about stepping into the liberty God intends for His children.

Do you truly know the Father's love? It's a love that casts out all fear and empowers you to overcome.

Are you prepared? Are you diligently seeking God, renewing your mind with His Word, and living each day with eternity in view?

This isn't about condemnation, but about invitation – an invitation to go deeper with Jesus, to experience His healing, His freedom, and His incredible love.

Friends, if Harold's story has touched you, I urge you to take action:

1.  Examine Your Life: Prayerfully ask God to show you any "open doors." Confess any known sin. As 1 John 1:9 (KJV) says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

2.  Seek Freedom: If you're struggling, seek help. Check out Harold's website, Deliverance101.com, for resources. Remember, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8:36, KJV).

3.  Receive the Father's Love: Actively pursue an understanding of God's profound love for you.

4.  Renew Your Mind: Immerse yourself in God's Word daily. Let it transform your thinking (Romans 12:2).

5.  Walk in Authority: Understand and exercise the authority you have in Jesus over the enemy (Luke 10:19). Submit to God, resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7, KJV).

6.  Live Prepared: Cultivate a deep hunger for God (Matthew 24:44).

A Supernatural Journey: My Interview with Pastor Timothy Quackenbos

Walking in Signs and Wonders Today

I’m thrilled to share an incredible conversation I had with a man whose life is a testament to the supernatural power of God—Pastor Timothy Quackenbos, affectionately known as Brother Tim. If you’ve ever wondered what it looks like to walk in the prophetic, experience signs and wonders, and live a life fully surrendered to Jesus, this is for you.

Introduction: A Divine Encounter

Let me start by sharing how I first met Brother Tim. It’s one of those God-incidences (not coincidences) that still blows my mind. My wife, Susan, and I were at a gas station in Petrey when we saw a flyer for a tent revival. We decided to go, and that’s where we first encountered Brother Tim. He received a prophetic word for us that night, and from there, our paths kept crossing. It was clear that God was orchestrating our connection.

Fast forward to today, and I’m sitting down with Brother Tim to dive deep into his extraordinary journey of faith. His life is marked by miracles, healings, and a relentless pursuit of God’s presence. If you’re hungry for a deeper spiritual relationship with Jesus, this interview will inspire and challenge you.

The Early Years: A Call at Age 10

One of the most fascinating parts of Brother Tim’s story is how he was called by God at just 10 years old. Imagine that—a child hearing from God in such a profound way! He shared how the devil actually appeared to him in his bedroom, and the fear of that encounter drove him to Christ.

I saw the devil’s face, and my brother saw his body. I crawled to my mom’s room and told her I wanted to get saved. She led me to Christ that night.”

Isn’t it amazing how God can use even the enemy’s schemes to draw us closer to Him? This moment marked the beginning of Brother Tim’s lifelong journey of faith.

Baptized in the Holy Spirit: A Prophetic Calling

Not long after his salvation, Brother Tim was baptized in the Holy Spirit while hanging clothes on a clothesline in Sarasota, Florida. He began speaking in tongues and heard God’s voice clearly, calling him to a life of ministry.

God told me what I would be doing, even what I’m doing now. He said I would see the dead raised to life and the book of Acts alive in my life.”

This prophetic calling has been the driving force behind Brother Tim’s ministry. He’s seen dead people raised to life, miraculous healings, and countless lives transformed by the power of Jesus.

Signs and Wonders: The Mark of a Believer

One of the things I admire most about Brother Tim is his unwavering belief in the signs and wonders that should follow believers. He often references Mark 16:17-18 (KJV), where Jesus says:

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Brother Tim’s life is a living testimony to these verses. He’s seen demons cast out, healings, and even a man raised from the dead in Haiti.

Raising the Dead: A Miracle in Haiti

One of the most powerful stories Brother Tim shared was about a man in Haiti who had been practicing voodoo against him. This man collapsed into a coma and eventually died. When Brother Tim arrived at the house, the Holy Spirit told him it was time to raise the dead.

I laid on the dead body, put my nose on his nose, and commanded him to rise in Jesus’ name. The next thing I knew, I was standing, and he was looking me in the eye.”

Today, that man is a worship leader in their church. From pronouncing curses to leading worship—only God can do that!

Discerning God’s Voice: Keys to Spiritual Growth

Another topic we explored was how to discern God’s voice. Brother Tim emphasized the importance of knowing Scripture and being obedient to what God says.

If it agrees with Scripture, it’s God. If Jesus did it, we can do it. If Jesus said don’t do it, we don’t do it.”

He also shared how confirmation plays a key role in discerning God’s will. Just like Gideon asked for signs, we too can seek confirmation when we’re unsure.

Why Don’t We See More Miracles in America?

This is a question many of us have asked. Brother Tim believes it’s largely due to false teaching and a lack of faith.

In Haiti and Serbia, people trust God because if He doesn’t heal them, they’ll die. In America, we’ve been taught to trust doctors and medicine instead of God.”

He challenged us to examine our own lives and ask: Are we truly believing God for the impossible?

Personal Reflections: Walking in Faith

As I listened to Brother Tim’s stories, I was reminded of my own journey. In 1995, I had a powerful encounter with God where He told me to “read the instructions”—meaning the Bible. Over the years, I’ve learned that the more we immerse ourselves in God’s Word, the clearer His voice becomes.

Brother Tim’s life is a testament to what happens when we take God at His Word and step out in faith, even when it looks ridiculous. You have probably heard, “You’ve got to be willing to look stupid for Jesus.”

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from this, it’s this: God is still in the miracle business. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever. Whether you’re facing a seemingly impossible situation or simply longing for a deeper relationship with Jesus, don’t settle for less than what God has promised.

I encourage you to:

1. Dive into Scripture and let it shape your faith.

2. Seek mentors who walk in the signs of a believer.

3. Step out in faith, even when it feels uncomfortable.

If you’d like to learn more from Brother Tim, check out his book, Discernment: Keys to Unlocking the Benefits

Thank you for joining me on this journey. If this post resonated with you, please share it with your friends and family. Let’s spread the good news that Jesus is alive and still working miracles today!

Until next time, keep seeking Him,

Conrad

Demonic Levitation: Let's talk BIBLE! (and some history)

Supernatural Levitation - bible & history

Today, I’m diving into an extraordinary event from my life—a moment when I woke up on the ceiling. Yes, you read that right! This surreal experience is one of many that I discuss in my book, "Open Your Eyes: My Supernatural Journey." As a firm believer in having a spiritual relationship with the Biblical Jesus, I aim to help you understand the spiritual forces at play in our lives. Together, let's explore this mysterious realm through biblical teachings, historical accounts, and personal reflections.

Understanding Spiritual Forces

The supernatural encounter of waking up on the ceiling was undoubtedly a demonic event, one that God allowed for a greater purpose. Much like how the Lord allowed the devil to torment Job and sift Peter like wheat, nothing happens without His knowledge. This experience pushed me to seek biblical context and understanding of spiritual forces that can move physical bodies.

Biblical References: Spiritual Movement in Scripture

In the rich tapestry of biblical narratives, we find instances where spiritual forces have moved physical bodies, acting as divine or demonic interventions. These events, recorded in Scripture, offer profound insights into the mysterious workings of the spiritual realm.

Jesus on the Pinnacle

One of the most striking examples of spiritual movement is found in the temptation of Jesus, as written in Matthew 4. In this account, the devil takes Jesus to the pinnacle of the temple. This isn't merely a symbolic journey; the devil physically transported Jesus to a high place to tempt Him. This act serves as a reminder of the devil's power and the tests that Jesus underwent to fulfill His mission.

Matthew 4:5-8 (KJV) states: "Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple..." This passage underscores the reality of spiritual forces interacting with the physical world. While the devil's intentions were to lead Jesus into temptation, the narrative reveals Jesus’ steadfast faith and adherence to God’s word, refusing to be swayed by the devil’s manipulations.

Philip Being Transported

Another remarkable instance is the transportation of Philip, one of the early church's deacons, as described in Acts 8. After baptizing the Ethiopian eunuch, Philip is suddenly caught away by the Spirit of the Lord and found in Azotus. This divine transportation serves as a powerful testament to the Spirit's ability to move believers according to God's purpose.

Acts 8:39-40 (KJV) captures this moment: "And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more..." This passage illustrates God's miraculous power and His control over His creation, guiding His servants to fulfill divine missions.

Elijah in the Whirlwind

The story of Elijah's ascent into heaven is another compelling example of spiritual movement. In 2 Kings 2, Elijah is taken up by a whirlwind, a divine act witnessed by his disciple Elisha. This event marks Elijah's departure from the earthly realm, signifying God's power over life and death.

2 Kings 2:11 (KJV) narrates: "And Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven." This passage highlights the divine nature of Elijah's journey, underlining the significance of God's intervention and the fulfillment of His prophetic promises.

Jesus Walks on Water

Perhaps one of the most awe-inspiring examples of spiritual power is Jesus walking on water. Recorded in Matthew 14, this miracle displays Jesus' authority over the natural elements, affirming His divine identity. Unlike the other examples, It appears that Jesus initiates this miracle Himself, showcasing His mastery over creation.

Matthew 14:25 (KJV) states: "And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea." This passage invites believers to reflect on their faith and the possibilities of divine intervention in their own lives. It challenges us to consider the depth of our belief and the potential for miracles through faith in Jesus.

These biblical accounts offer a glimpse into the dynamic interplay between the physical and spiritual realms. They encourage us to explore the depths of our faith and the transformative power of God’s Spirit.

Historical Accounts of Levitation

Beyond the biblical narratives, history is replete with accounts of levitation attributed to spiritual forces. While these events remain largely anecdotal and elusive in scientific terms, they provide fascinating insights into the supernatural experiences reported throughout the ages.

Daniel Dunglas Home

Daniel Dunglas Home, a 19th-century medium, was renowned for his alleged ability to levitate. His séances attracted notable figures, who claimed to witness his levitations firsthand. One of the most famous incidents occurred in 1868, when Home was said to have floated out of a third-story window and re-entered through another. This event, witnessed by three people, highlights the enigmatic nature of spiritual phenomena and the potential influence of demonic forces.

Saint Teresa of Ávila

Saint Teresa of Ávila, a revered figure in Catholicism, experienced levitation during mystical raptures. Her autobiography details these occurrences, which were witnessed by fellow nuns. Teresa's levitations, often occurring during deep states of prayer, raise intriguing questions about the interplay between intense spiritual devotion and supernatural experiences.

The Smurl Haunting

The Smurl Haunting, a case of paranormal activity in Pennsylvania, involved the levitation of family members. Investigated by renowned paranormal experts Ed and Lorraine Warren, the case gained widespread media attention. The events, including physical assaults and levitations, underscore the potential influence of malevolent spiritual forces in the physical world.

The Case of Clara Germana Cele

Clara Germana Cele, a young South African girl, exhibited extraordinary phenomena during a period of alleged demonic possession. Witnesses reported her levitation, alongside other supernatural abilities, during her exorcism. This case highlights the intense spiritual warfare that can manifest in physical ways, challenging our understanding of the spiritual realm.

Robbie Mannheim

The story of Robbie Mannheim, the inspiration for "The Exorcist," provides a chilling account of levitation during exorcism. Witnesses, including priests, reported seeing Robbie levitate and objects move around him. This dramatic case illustrates the severity of spiritual battles and the power of faith in overcoming such trials.

These historical accounts, while varied, offer a window into the complex and often mysterious interactions between the spiritual and physical worlds. They invite us to consider the reality of spiritual warfare and the need for discernment and faith in navigating these experiences.

Conclusion and Call to Action

By exploring these biblical and historical accounts, we gain a deeper understanding of the spiritual forces that influence our world. As we reflect on these stories, we are reminded of the importance of faith, discernment, and reliance on God’s power. Overcoming Spiritual Warfare: My Journey of Faith and Resilience

A Terrifying Night from My Childhood

Today, I want to take you on a journey back to a night that changed my life forever. It’s a night that I can never forget, filled with fear, confusion, and a supernatural encounter that left an indelible mark on my soul. As a child, I faced an experience so terrifying that it still sends shivers down my spine. This encounter taught me invaluable lessons about spiritual warfare, the power of Jesus, and the importance of being vigilant against the forces of darkness.

 A Night of Supernatural Encounter

I was only five years old, sound asleep in my room in Houston, Texas. My father and stepmom were still awake in another room. Suddenly, an unseen assailant entered my room. He put his hand over my mouth and nose, suffocating me as I slept. In my deep slumber, I sensed something was wrong. I couldn’t breathe and struggled to wake up, but it felt like I was trapped underwater, unable to reach the surface.

As I fought to wake up, I was paralyzed with fear, unable to move or cry out for help. The assailant pressed my head down into the pillow with increasing force. I managed to rock my head slightly and, with great effort, gained control of my right arm. But when I finally opened my eyes, I saw that the assailant was not a man—it was my own left hand, possessed by a malevolent entity.

The Reality of Spiritual Warfare

This terrifying experience was not an isolated incident. Throughout my life, I have had numerous out-of-body experiences and encounters with the supernatural. These experiences have deepened my understanding of spiritual warfare and the reality of demonic attacks. Later, I realized that the entity that took control of my hand was a demon.

This experience taught me the importance of being vigilant against the forces of darkness. It also highlighted the power of Jesus' name in overcoming these attacks. As a Christian, I have learned that spiritual warfare is a constant battle, and we must always be prepared to stand firm in our faith.

Biblical References: Understanding Spiritual Warfare

The Bible provides numerous insights into the nature of spiritual warfare. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." This verse underscores the reality that our battles are not just physical but spiritual.

In John 9:2-3, the disciples asked Jesus about a man born blind, "Who sinned, this man or his parents?" Jesus answered, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him." This passage reminds us that not all suffering is a result of personal sin; sometimes, it is an opportunity for God's power to be revealed.

Exploring Open Doors to the Demonic

One crucial lesson I've learned is the importance of closing any open doors that may invite demonic influence into our lives. These open doors can include sins within the family, involvement in occult practices, sexual immorality, unforgiveness, and bringing cursed objects into our homes. Deuteronomy 7:26 warns us, "Do not bring a detestable thing into your house or you, like it, will be set apart for destruction."

Generational Sins

The Bible speaks about generational sins, where the iniquities of the fathers are visited upon their children. This concept can be found in several passages, including Exodus 20:5, where it states, "You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me." In my own life, my father’s involvement with psychics and saints opened a door for the demonic to enter our home. This highlights the importance of parents being vigilant in their spiritual lives to protect their children.

Occult Practices

Involvement in occult practices is a significant open door for demonic influence. Practices such as divination, witchcraft, and consulting psychics are explicitly condemned in the Bible. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns, "There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord." Engaging in such practices invites demonic entities into our lives and homes.

Sexual Immorality

Sexual immorality is another significant open door for demonic influence. 1 Corinthians 6:18 states, "Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body." Sexual sins create spiritual bonds that can allow demonic entities to gain a foothold in our lives. It is crucial to maintain sexual purity to safeguard ourselves from these influences.

Unforgiveness

Unforgiveness is a less obvious but equally dangerous open door for demonic influence. Holding onto grudges and refusing to forgive others creates bitterness in our hearts, which can be exploited by demonic forces. Matthew 18:34-35 explains, "And in anger his master delivered him to the jailers, until he should pay all his debt. So also my heavenly Father will do to every one of you if you do not forgive your brother from your heart." Forgiveness is essential for maintaining spiritual health and protection.

Cursed Objects

Bringing cursed objects into our homes can also invite demonic influence. These objects can include items associated with occult practices, idolatry, or sinful activities. Deuteronomy 7:26 warns, "And you shall not bring an abominable thing into your house and become devoted to destruction like it. You shall utterly detest and abhor it, for it is devoted to destruction." It is essential to cleanse our homes of any objects that may have spiritual significance contrary to God's will.

The Power of Jesus in Spiritual Warfare

Friends, I want to leave you with this: there is incredible power in the name of Jesus. This power is not a mere incantation but flows from His nature, character, and authority. James 4:7 instructs us, "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Submission to God and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit are critical in overcoming demonic attacks.

If you’ve resonated with my story and want to learn more, I encourage you to read my books, "Open Your Eyes: My Supernatural Journey" and "Overcoming Night Terror: Making the Demons Leave." From Witchcraft to Worship: Alexandria Butler's Radical Transformation

The Transformative Power of the Holy Spirit

Today on Coffee with Conrad, I had the incredible privilege of interviewing Alexandria Butler, a woman with a powerful testimony of God's redemptive love and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Alexandria's story is one that will inspire and encourage you, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Growing up surrounded by the darkness of witchcraft and bitterness, Alexandria seemed destined for a life of pain and negativity. But God had other plans. Through a divine encounter on Interstate 35, Jesus met Alexandria in her brokenness and radically changed the trajectory of her life.

Here is the Audio Podcast Version of our interview:

As Alexandria shared her story with me, I was struck by the parallels in our own testimonies. Like Alexandria, I too struggled with demonic torment as a child. But also like her, I had grandparents and relatives who sowed seeds of faith into my life from a young age. Those seeds, planted in love, bore fruit years later as we each surrendered our lives to Christ.

One of the most impactful parts of Alexandria's testimony was hearing about her journey to being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Despite facing opposition and confusion, Alexandria persisted in her pursuit of this precious gift. And when she finally received it, the change in her life was undeniable. She went from being burdened and heavy to feeling 100 pounds lighter - delivered and set free to live in victory.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit also empowered Alexandria for ministry. No longer content to sit on the sidelines, she began actively sharing the gospel, laying hands on the sick, and casting out demons. Her story is proof that God wants to use all of us to advance His Kingdom, if we will simply yield to His Spirit.

Alexandria's testimony carries an important message for the Church today. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life. We need His anointing to be effective witnesses for Christ. My prayer is that her story will light a fire in your heart, that you too would seek after the fullness of the Spirit.

Here is the Live Interview:

I also hope this interview encourages any grandparents listening. Never underestimate the importance of sowing spiritual seeds into your grandchildren's lives. Your prayers and godly example can make an eternal difference, even if you don't see the fruit right away. Keep planting and watering, knowing God will bring the growth.

I'm so grateful Alexandria took the time to share her story with us. I know it will be a blessing and an inspiration to all who hear it. My friends, if you don't know the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, I encourage you to cry out to God for it. He is faithful to fill those who hunger and thirst for Him. And that fullness is available for you today.

From Brokenness to Impact: Richard's Story

A Powerful Testimony of God's Transforming Love: Richard James Dixon Jr.'s Story

Recently on the "Coffee with Conrad" podcast, I had the privilege of interviewing Richard James Dixon Jr. from Real Talk Interactive about his powerful testimony of how Jesus Christ transformed his life. This inspiring story is a must-listen for any Christian who loves to hear about the supernatural power of God at work.

Richard grew up in a godly family with six siblings. His parents raised them in holiness, but Richard admits he was a mischievous child who acted out and put his parents through a lot. Even at a young age though, he felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit whenever he misbehaved.

One pivotal moment came when God allowed Richard to see how exhausted his mother was with his behavior. It broke his heart and he realized he needed to change. Around this time, Richard also experienced sexual abuse from someone outside the family. This left deep scars that affected him mentally for years to come.

As he matured, Richard threw himself into church activities like playing drums, teaching Sunday school and leading youth ministry. But inside he still struggled with the trauma of his abuse. After a girlfriend tragically died, Richard turned cold-hearted, feeling like he was toxic and nobody should be close to him.

But God wasn't done with Richard's story. He brought Jennifer into Richard's life, a woman who persistently pursued a relationship with him. Though Richard resisted at first, God made it clear that Jennifer was the one for him. Their marriage became a powerful ministry and testimony of God's love.

During the pandemic, God laid it on Richard's heart to start Positiv Impact, a non-profit dedicated to providing positive atmospheres and support for at-risk youth in the community. Having experienced the breakdown of the family firsthand, Richard knows how vital it is for the church to minister outside its four walls.

One of Richard's greatest joys is seeing the darkness lift from these young people's faces as they experience the love of God through his ministry. As he vulnerably shared about his own suicidal thoughts in the past, Richard testified that it was only by God's grace and the support of family and church that he made it through.

No matter what poor decisions we make or what evil comes against us, Richard's story is proof that God can redeem anything for our good and His glory. If you feel lost, broken or too far gone, know that nothing is too hard for God. He is ready and willing to transform your life just like He did for Richard.

Thomas Dabney Tannehill - Testimony for Jesus

The Power of Testimony: One Man's Journey from the Occult to Salvation in Jesus Christ

Testimonies of faith have the power to inspire, convict, and spur spiritual growth. In this accompanying blog post for the Coffee with Conrad podcast episode featuring Thomas Dabney Tannehill's powerful testimony, we'll explore key themes surrounding his journey from occult practices and drug addiction to experiencing new life in Christ.

Here is the original Facebook Live

Dabbling in the Occult Opens Doors to Darkness

Like many young people, Thomas was exposed to occult practices like using Ouija boards and tarot cards from a young age. Little did he know the dangers of opening doorways to the demonic realm. The occult should be avoided by believers, as it gives the enemy a foothold (Eph. 4:27). Thomas also experienced poltergeist activity in his home growing up.

Drug Use Leads Down Destructive Paths

Down the road, Thomas' involvement in Eastern religious practices, psychedelic drugs, and rock music sent his life into a tailspin. He had demonic encounters telling him to worship Satan while high on LSD. Drug use leads to addiction, poor choices, and dangerous consequences. Seeking enlightenment or spirituality through substance abuse can open people up to darker forces.

Crying Out for Help in Your Darkest Hour

After a terrifying drug trip where Thomas saw his body convulsing and hordes of demons, he cried out to God for mercy. Though far from God, Thomas retained a flicker of faith from his religious upbringing. God hears our prayers even at our worst moments. When all seems lost, He provides hope.

Christian Fellowship Helps Restore the Lost

Just when he thought he was alone, Thomas encountered his old friend Mickey sharing the gospel. This divine appointment led to Mickey mentoring Thomas in his newfound faith, discipling him in God's Word, and providing a community of belief. Surrounding ourselves with strong believers helps us grow.

The Holy Spirit Illuminates Scripture

As Thomas read the Bible, its truths came alive by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Mere intellectual study is not enough. When we invite the Spirit to teach us, the Word transforms us. The Bible is the Spirit's sword (Eph. 6:17) to cut through lies and point us to godly living.

True Repentance Leads to Lasting Change

After failed attempts to clean up his own life, Thomas fully surrendered his heart and will to Christ. This repentance led to supernatural freedom as he turned from darkness and embraced the light. When we submit ourselves to God, He breaks sin's power. Our old self dies, and we become new creations in Him (2 Cor. 5:17).

The Journey May Be Slow But Progress Comes

Though saved, Thomas still stumbled at times on his spiritual walk. Sanctification is a process. The righteousness of Christ is gifted to believers, but living it out takes time. Thomas discovered the joys of forgiveness and getting back on the right path when he faltered. God's grace sustains us.

Testimonies Build Faith and Give Hope

By generously sharing his story, Thomas inspires us to cling to Jesus above all else and reach out into the darkness with Christ's love. Our testimonies matter―they build faith, give hope, and point others to the One who can set them free.
