Kevin Riordan - Ministry Spotlight
Diving Deep into the Supernatural with Street Fisher Ministries
I've been following Kevin's work, particularly his Facebook Live videos, and let me tell you, it's absolutely incredible to witness. He goes out onto the streets, often in Pennsylvania, initiates conversations with people, and with genuine care, asks if they have any pain or need prayer. What happens next is often nothing short of miraculous. I've seen it in real-time – people getting healed, their attention grabbed by the power of God, and then Kevin sharing the simple yet profound message of the Gospel. Lives are being changed right there, on the spot, and they are giving their hearts to Jesus.
It was so impactful that I knew I had to get Kevin on for an interview to share his heart and his experiences with you all. I'm thrilled to bring you this Ministry Spotlight and make you aware of the amazing work God is doing through Street Fisher Ministries. So, without further ado, let's dive into our conversation.
The Power of a Simple "Hey, Can I Pray for You?"
I kicked off our chat by asking Kevin about how he starts these incredible encounters. It's not about a complicated formula or a slick sales pitch. Kevin's approach is refreshingly simple and rooted in genuine care. He shared, "Well, for me, I just walk up to a person and say, 'Hey, I'm out here praying for people, and I’ve seen some folks get healed.' Then I ask, 'Do you have any kind of pain in your body?'
This simple question opens the door for connection. It shows immediate interest in the other person's well-being. Kevin isn't just launching into a sermon; he's meeting people where they are, often starting with their physical needs. He explained that if someone says they are in pain, they are usually open to prayer. Interestingly, he noted that many don't actually expect anything to happen, but then Jesus shows up, touches them, and heals them. This tangible experience then makes them incredibly receptive to hearing the gospel.
Even if someone says they don't have any pain, Kevin still asks if he can pray for them, specifically asking Jesus to come and touch them tangibly. This consistent approach aims to give everyone a real encounter with the Savior, making it much harder for them to reject Him. Amen to that\!
Time, Conversation, and Genuine Care: Keys to Effective Ministry
One thing that struck me watching Kevin is that he takes the time to truly converse with people. It’s not just a quick prayer and moving on. I asked him about this, and he emphasized the importance of building a connection. "I've been doing this for a long time and I've gone out there with a with my canned presentation okay and people and people don't respond to your canned presentation but people respond very well to your to a conversation."
He wisely pointed out that a genuine conversation puts people at ease and shows them that you actually care. This aligns perfectly with how Jesus himself ministered. Think about Matthew's party – Jesus wasn't just firing off theological points; He was spending time with people, building relationships. Kevin believes we need to follow that example, taking the time to find out where people are, understand their perspectives, and then minister to their specific needs. It’s a much more effective way of doing evangelism, and I wholeheartedly agree.
Experiencing the Supernatural: A Recent Ministry Highlight
I was eager to hear some specific examples of God's power at work through Kevin's ministry. He shared a powerful encounter from just the night before our interview. He felt led to an area with low-income housing projects, admitting he was a bit nervous because people there often made fun of him. However, he saw a group and approached them, asking if anyone needed prayer for physical healing.
Initially, they did mock him, with one woman even snorting her drink from laughter when he mentioned the Lord would heal. But amidst the skepticism, one woman reluctantly admitted to having rods in her back due to scoliosis and was in a lot of pain. As Kevin prayed, she immediately felt the pain leaving. She was then able to bend over and touch the ground, something she hadn't been able to do in years\!
The supernatural didn't stop there. Another young woman, 23 years old, who had suffered two mini-strokes and had limited use of her left arm, experienced complete healing. The pain vanished, and the weakness left her arm. Her severe headache also lifted, and her mind felt clear for the first time since her strokes.
Then, a man who had been watching had his back pain addressed and a leg length discrepancy corrected through prayer. Even more remarkably, numbness in his big toes, which he'd had for an extended period, completely disappeared when Kevin commanded it in Jesus' name.
The shift in the atmosphere was palpable. The skeptics were now completely engaged. Kevin beautifully stated, "Healing is the dinner bell to the to the gospel for the preaching of the Gospel it gets people's attention and it got their attention." As a result of these supernatural encounters, about five people from that group gave their lives to Christ that night. What an amazing testimony to the power of God!
Equipping Others: Discipleship and Ministry Training
Kevin's ministry isn't just about his personal evangelism; he's also deeply committed to equipping others to do the same. He uses his Facebook Live videos as a way for people to see real-time ministry in action, breaking down preconceived notions about evangelism.
Beyond that, he travels to churches conducting evangelism seminars, teaching on how to share faith and exploring different styles of evangelism. He understands that not everyone has the same personality, and there's a way for every temperament to effectively share the gospel. He specifically mentioned the difference between his own sanguine personality and his wife's more introverted, melancholy nature, emphasizing that God has wired everyone perfectly and there's an evangelism style for everyone.
Crucially, Kevin takes people out onto the streets, providing practical, hands-on experience in praying for others and sharing the gospel. This allows them to see that they can indeed step out in faith and be used by God.
Locally, in Butler, Pennsylvania, Kevin and a friend run Ministry Classes focused on teaching about healing, deliverance, the Kingdom of God, and how to use these in evangelism. These classes are ongoing, with the aim of igniting a passion for spiritual adventure in believers.
Kevin passionately declared, "Christianity is an adventure! God saved us for more. Whoever's listening, God saved you for more than just making coffee at church or vacuuming the carpet. He saved you to be part of the game, part of the team—out there healing the sick, winning the lost, and doing amazing things for God." This resonated deeply with me – we are all called to be active participants in God's Kingdom work.
Miracles Overseas and the Call to Believe
Kevin also shared his excitement about an upcoming mission trip to Kenya. He noted that there often seems to be a greater openness to miracles overseas and expressed his anticipation for what God will do there. He pondered if unbelief hinders the miraculous here at home, while acknowledging that when he prays for people, the Lord does heal. His expectation is high for what God will do in Kenya.
A Prophetic Prayer for Stepping Out in Faith
As our interview drew to a close, I asked Kevin if he would pray for those listening – for those who feel a tug in their hearts to step out in ministry but might be hesitant. His prayer was powerful and filled with the Spirit:
"Father, we thank You, Lord, for the high calling You have placed upon us—the call to be Your ambassadors on earth. I pray, Father, that every person would begin to understand the significance of this calling.
Lord Jesus, I ask that You open people's eyes to see the brokenness around them. Give them vision to see as You see, and, God, I also pray that You give them a heart to feel what You feel for those people.
Father, I pray that You release compassion to every person who hears my voice—that they would not remain comfortable in complacency. Stir their hearts, Lord, to take a step, to open their mouths, to speak, to pray for someone. And I pray that as they step out in faith, You will meet their needs, igniting a fire within them to do it again and again.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that You would release an anointing right now. For those listening, if you would lift your hands, I’m going to pray for the Lord to impart a healing gift—an anointing for healing.
Holy Spirit, I ask right now for an impartation and activation of healing gifts. Lord, let those who lay hands on the sick see them recover. I pray in the name of Jesus that You release an anointing alongside passion—an anointing to do even greater things.
We thank You, God, for an outpouring of Your Spirit, for an outpouring of Your power. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
As Kevin prayed, I was reminded of Mark 16:17-18 in the King James Version: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." This isn't just for a select few; it's for all who believe.
Final Thoughts and a Call to Action

Forgiveness - Kingdom Key with Kevin Riordan
Forgiveness and Healing: Unlocking Spiritual Freedom with Jesus
A Journey to Spiritual Healing
Hey friends, it's Conrad here from ConradRocks.Net. Today, I'm diving deep into a topic that's close to my heart—forgiveness and its profound connection to healing. I recently had an incredible conversation with Kevin Riordan from Street Fisher Ministries on my show, Coffee with Conrad, and what he shared about the spiritual power of forgiveness blew me away. If you're struggling with emotional wounds or even physical ailments, and you've been seeking a supernatural breakthrough through Jesus, this post is for you. Let's unpack how letting go of unforgiveness can open the door to God's healing in ways you might never have imagined.
In this journey, we'll explore real-life stories, dive into Biblical teachings, and reflect on how the prophetic voice of God can guide us to release bitterness. Stick with me as we uncover the transformative power of forgiveness in our spiritual walk.
The Main Message: Unforgiveness Blocks Healing
The Hidden Barrier in Our Hearts
One of the most striking revelations from my interview with Kevin was how unforgiveness acts as a barrier to God's healing power. In his street ministry, Kevin often prays for the sick, witnessing supernatural miracles in the name of Jesus. But he noticed something troubling—some folks just weren't getting healed, no matter how much he prayed. When he sought the Lord for answers, the response was clear: unforgiveness. It's a spiritual block that can halt even the most fervent prayers.
Kevin explained that unforgiveness doesn't just weigh on our emotions—it can "kill a person emotionally and physically." Think about that for a moment. Holding onto resentment is like carrying a toxic burden in our souls, one that festers and impacts every part of our being. This isn't just a theory; it's a spiritual reality I've seen play out, and it's why we must address it with the help of Jesus.
Real-Life Transformation Through Forgiveness
Kevin shared a powerful story about a woman he met on the street, crippled by arthritis and barely able to walk with her walker. She revealed that her pain stemmed from years of abuse by her ex-husband, and the bitterness she held was palpable. Initially, she refused to forgive him, declaring she'd never let go of what he did. But Kevin gently explained that forgiveness isn't a feeling—it's a choice. It's about releasing ourselves from the prison of offense, not excusing the wrong done to us.
After a struggle, she chose to pray and forgive, and what happened next was nothing short of supernatural. Her body shook, she coughed up emotional baggage, and when it was over, she walked away pain-free, her walker folded over her shoulder. Friends, that's the power of forgiveness through Jesus!
Personal Reflections: My Own Encounter with Forgiveness
Hearing Kevin's stories hit close to home for me. I've walked through seasons of hurt in my own life, carrying wounds I didn't even realize were there. Like many of you, I've had moments where I thought, "I've moved on," only to find that old resentments still lingered beneath the surface. Kevin's insight that unforgiveness can manifest as anxiety or physical pain made me reflect on times when I felt weighed down without knowing why. It's a reminder of the spiritual battles we face, often unseen, but very real.
I remember a time when I had to confront a deep hurt from my past. It wasn't easy to face those memories, but as I prayed and sought Jesus for strength, I felt a prophetic nudge to let go. Choosing forgiveness didn't erase the pain overnight, but it started a healing process in my heart. Each time those memories resurfaced, I'd pray again, declaring my decision to forgive. Over time, I felt a supernatural lightness, as if a burden had been lifted.
If you're holding onto something today, I want to encourage you—it's worth taking that first step with Jesus by your side.
Biblical Teachings: Forgiveness as a Commandment
The Example of Jesus at the Cross
Kevin pointed us to the ultimate example of forgiveness—Jesus on the cross. Despite the unimaginable pain and injustice He endured, He prayed for those who crucified Him. In Luke 23:34, we read, "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." If Jesus could forgive in such a moment, how much more should we, who have been forgiven of our own countless sins, extend that grace to others?
Kevin reminded us that we break God's commandments daily, yet through Jesus, we receive mercy beyond measure. In Matthew 6:14-15, the Word is clear: "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." This isn't just a suggestion—it's a spiritual mandate. Forgiveness isn't for the other person; it's for our own heart, aligning us with God's will.
The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant
Another powerful teaching Kevin referenced was the parable of the unforgiving servant in Matthew 18. After being forgiven an enormous debt by his master, the servant refused to show mercy to someone who owed him a small amount. The consequence was severe—he was handed over to the "torturers" until he could pay.
In Matthew 18:34-35, it says, "And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses." Kevin interpreted these tormentors as supernatural forces of bitterness and demonic oppression that take hold when we refuse to forgive. This spiritual warning urges us to release offenses before they bind us.
The Process of Forgiveness: A Spiritual Discipline
Forgiveness as a Choice, Not a Feeling
One of the most liberating truths Kevin shared is that forgiveness isn't about feeling warm and fuzzy—it's a decision of the will. You don't have to "feel" like forgiving to make that choice. It's an act of obedience to God, trusting that His love will wash over the wounds in your heart. This spiritual discipline opens us up to the healing power of Jesus, even when emotions lag behind.
I've found this to be true in my own walk. There were times I had to grit my teeth, much like the woman Kevin prayed for, and declare forgiveness despite the pain. But each time I chose to align my will with God's command, I felt a prophetic shift—a sense that something supernatural was happening in my spirit.
Healing Over Time: Like Treating a Wound
Kevin offered a beautiful analogy for the process of forgiveness, comparing it to treating a physical wound. When you cut yourself, cleaning it with peroxide stings, but it's necessary to prevent infection. You have to keep tending to it daily, even when it hurts, until the wound heals. Similarly, forgiveness starts with a painful decision, and memories may resurface, requiring you to reaffirm that choice. Over time, as you apply God's love like a balm, the pain lessens, and healing comes.
This perspective has reshaped how I view forgiveness in my spiritual life. It's not a one-and-done event but a journey with Jesus. Each time a hurt comes up, I bring it before Him, choosing to let go again. If you're on this path, know that healing is possible—keep walking in faith.
Forgiving the Unforgivable: A Supernatural Challenge
One of the toughest questions I asked Kevin was how to forgive when the offense seems unforgivable—those atrocious acts that leave deep scars. His answer pointed straight to the cross. We must remember how much we've been forgiven by Jesus. Our sins, though many, have been washed away by His blood.
As it says in Ephesians 4:32, "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you." When we grasp the magnitude of God's mercy toward us, it becomes possible, though not easy, to extend that to others.
Kevin shared a heart-wrenching story of a relative who lost a child to a drunk driver. Despite the crushing pain, she chose to confront the man in prison and forgive him, understanding that her healing depended on it. This act of supernatural grace through Jesus is a testament to the power of forgiveness as both healing and preventive medicine for our souls.
The Spiritual Strongholds of Unforgiveness
What struck me most about Kevin's ministry encounters was how he described the spiritual warfare aspect of unforgiveness. When that woman with arthritis first tried to speak forgiveness, she couldn't get the words out. Her teeth clenched, her body shook, and she began coughing violently. This wasn't just emotional resistance—it was supernatural opposition.
Kevin explained that unforgiveness creates strongholds in our hearts where demonic forces can take root. The longer we hold onto bitterness, the stronger these spiritual chains become. But here's the good news: the moment we choose to forgive in the name of Jesus, those chains are broken. The enemy loses his grip, and God's healing power can flow freely.
This revelation changed how I approach forgiveness in my own life and ministry. It's not just about emotional health—it's about spiritual warfare. When we forgive, we're literally casting down strongholds and declaring victory in Jesus' name.
Practical Steps to Walk in Forgiveness
Step 1: Acknowledge the Hurt
The first step isn't to minimize what happened or pretend it doesn't matter. God knows the depth of your pain, and He wants you to bring it honestly before Him. Like David in the Psalms, cry out to God about the injustice. He can handle your emotions.
Step 2: Make the Choice
Remember, forgiveness is a decision of the will, not a feeling. You may have to speak it out loud: "Lord, I choose to forgive [person's name] for [specific offense]. I release them to You and ask You to heal my heart."
Step 3: Repeat When Memories Surface
Don't be surprised when the hurt resurfaces. This is normal and doesn't mean you haven't truly forgiven. Simply reaffirm your choice: "I have already forgiven this. Jesus, help me walk in that forgiveness today."
Step 4: Ask for Healing
Invite the Holy Spirit to heal the wounded places in your heart. Pray for supernatural restoration and trust that God is working, even when you don't feel it immediately.
The Prophetic Call to Forgiveness
As I've reflected on Kevin's testimony and my own experiences, I sense a prophetic call from the Lord for His people to walk in radical forgiveness. In these last days, as darkness increases, the church must shine brighter with the love of Christ. We can't do that while carrying bitterness in our hearts.
I believe God is calling us to a new level of freedom—freedom from the past, freedom from offense, freedom to love like Jesus. This isn't just about individual healing, though that's important. It's about corporate breakthrough. When the body of Christ walks in forgiveness, we become a powerful witness to the world of God's transforming love.
Are you hearing this prophetic call in your own heart? Is the Holy Spirit highlighting areas where you need to forgive? Don't resist that gentle conviction—it's leading you to freedom.
Conclusion and Call to Action: Step Into Spiritual Freedom
Friends, as I reflect on my conversation with Kevin Riordan and the spiritual truths we've explored together, I'm more convinced than ever that forgiveness is a cornerstone of our walk with Jesus. It's not just about letting others off the hook—it's about freeing ourselves from the chains of bitterness so we can experience supernatural healing.
Whether you're battling emotional scars, physical ailments, or spiritual oppression, I believe a prophetic breakthrough awaits when you choose to forgive. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to heal your heart and restore your soul.
I want to hear from you. Have you experienced healing through forgiveness? Are you struggling to let go of a hurt? Leave a comment below—I read every one and would love to pray with you. If this post resonated with you, don't keep it to yourself. Share it with a friend who needs this message of hope.
Let's commit to walking in forgiveness today. As Kevin prayed over that woman with arthritis, I'm praying over you right now: "Father, I ask that You release Your healing power over everyone reading this. Break every chain of unforgiveness, cast down every stronghold of bitterness, and flood their hearts with Your love. In Jesus' mighty name, Amen."
God bless you, and until next time, keep seeking the supernatural power of Christ in every area of your life.

Kingdom Key - Forgiveness
Many people are struggling with sickness, poverty, and all sorts of torments. The good news is there are keys in Scripture that the Lord has made available to us. These keys are solutions to our problems and are found in God’s Word.
This is why I put together a free pdf ebook “Kingdom Keys - Forgiveness”
Prov 25:2; [It is] the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings [is] to search out a matter.
The more we dig into the Word of God the higher we go in our relationship with Him. We pick up some Kingdom Keys along The Way. These keys seem to be hidden at first but they've been there the whole time. Once you ‘get it’, you will jump up and down with joy!
I'm interviewing three people on the subject of forgiveness and how it relates to torment. Torment can come in many forms such as sickness, poverty, disease, and just plain being miserable. In this ebook I transcribe conversations with experts who live and breathe this Kingdom Key:
Hear is what you can expect from the ebook:
- Biblical principles on how unforgiveness is deadly
- The unforgiveness / sickness correlation
- Why unforgiveness blocks answered prayer
- Testimonies of personally forgiving the abuser

The Devil wants to STOP YOU from Evangelizing!
Making Excuses...
This is a Spiritual Battle!
It is almost comical how this verse comes into play when we get a verbal commitment from someone to evangelize. I have heard some of these same excuses.Someone literally told me that had to tend their garden and back out of evangelizing. Another said, they changed their mind and decided to sleep. Yes. They said these very things.
This is a spiritual battle. I tell people once they make that verbal commitment to get ready for some warfare. The devil does NOT WANT YOU to minister in public. He will pull out all the stops. It is amazing to see how the devil works through people and situations to STOP YOU from doing the Great Commission!
But, once people get through the barriers and actually go out and minister, they are amazed that they haven't been doing it all along.
I have seen people smile from ear to ear and totally rejoice many times when they finally got to share their testimony with people. Dude! I have seen people get healed and run up and down the beach praising God! What would have happened if we didn't bring the Kingdom out to them?
I have seen many like things that I never would have seen if I checked on my oxen or tended my ground.
You know you need to evangelize. There are people in your community that are going to perish. Is some ground or some oxen more important than their salvation?
And believe me, once you see God move, you will never want to stop working the field. It is rewarding!

Harold's Miraculous Jacket and the Unfolding Prophetic Truth
The Deliverance Jacket!
Harold shared an amazing testimony about a jacket – yes, a simple jacket – that became a canvas for divine revelation. This story has been unfolding for years, and the insights just keep pouring forth. So, buckle up, grab your coffee, and let's explore the incredible journey of Harold and his God-given jacket.
When God Speaks Through a Jacket
Boy, do I have a treat for you today! I've known Harold for a few years now. We first met at a music venue, became friends, and recently reconnected. And let me tell you, this man is on fire for God! At 72, overcoming physical difficulties, Harold is out there taking ground for Jesus, and he's a true inspiration. If he can do it, despite the challenges, what's stopping any of us?
What really captured me was his story about this jacket. He had a supernatural revelation, a direct word from the Lord about it. It’s a story of hitting rock bottom, encountering Jesus in a life-altering way, and receiving ongoing guidance that continues to amaze. Harold himself was wearing the "infamous jacket" during our interview, a tangible symbol of his incredible journey.
The Testimony of the Jacket – A Divine Blueprint
Harold's early life wasn't steeped in faith. He wasn't raised in a Christian family, never had a Bible, and spent most of his life struggling, with failed marriages, parenthood, and a general sense of things just not working. As he put it, his life was "crashing... all full of junk."
The Turning Point: A Cry in the Dark
It all came to a head on September 2nd, 2012. After 60 years of what felt like constant failure, Harold found himself in a fetal position, crying out to the Lord, begging for his life to end. But instead of an end, he found a new beginning. He sincerely prayed, "Lord, please, please just take over my life."
And Jesus answered. "It was just boom," Harold described. "He stepped in like a lightning bolt and he broke that spirit of death that was on me." In that moment, he heard a clear instruction: "Get up and get on down to that church down the road that you've been looking at... it doesn't matter if you're late." He obeyed, walked into the middle of a sermon on Romans 8, and for the first time, heard about unconditional love. His life was miraculously changed. That, my friends, is a true Acts chapter 9, road to Damascus encounter! Your life is never the same after something like that.
The Prophetic Jacket Revelation
Two years later, around Thanksgiving 2014, after a period of healing, Harold asked the Lord, "You've got to tell me what was wrong with my life. What was it that happened to me?" Again, God spoke. He told Harold to get a white jacket from his closet. He laid it on a table, and the Lord said, "Just start writing."
Words started pouring out of him onto that jacket. For about 20-25 minutes, he wrote like crazy, front and back. When he was done, the jacket was covered in words. The Lord told him, "This is what happened in your life."
Initially, Harold understood it as a representation of his sins, generational curses, trauma – everything that had opened doors for demonic infiltration in his life. He'd come to realize that demons were real and had been influencing him.
Unfolding Layers of Meaning
But the revelation didn't stop there. Years later, especially after a trip to Pennsylvania for intensive training with a minister named Kevin Riordan (whom I had the privilege of introducing him to), Harold gained a deeper understanding.
The Front of the Jacket: This represented all the sins, the open doors – things he had done, generational curses, traumas inflicted upon him. These were the entry points for the enemy.
The Back of the Jacket: This depicted the fruits of sin – poverty, bondage, bitterness, pornography addiction, infirmities, and afflictions.
Harold marveled, "There was no way I could have known that back then when I was writing." Even more astoundingly, he later realized the words were written in a pattern resembling crosses! This is so deeply biblical. As Isaiah 53 tells us, Jesus "was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5, KJV). He bore not only our sins but also our infirmities on that cross. Harold's jacket was a supernatural, visual testament to this profound truth.
Personal Reflections: When God Gets Personal
What I love about Harold's testimony is the raw honesty and the clear, direct way God communicated with him. He had no theological paradigms to filter it through; he was just hearing from God and then finding it confirmed in the Bible later. This is a beautiful example of how the Spirit and the Word agree!
It's also a powerful reminder that often, it's at our lowest point, our rock bottom, that we finally become open to encountering Jesus. My own journey has echoes of this. When you're stripped of everything, that's when His voice can become the clearest.
Harold's perseverance is another thing that deeply inspires me. Dealing with hearing issues and hip problems, relying on an e-bike to get around – many would use these as excuses to withdraw. But Harold? He's out there, sharing his faith, leading freedom nights at his church. He even traveled to Pennsylvania, overcoming significant obstacles, to seek deeper healing and understanding. That's faith in action!
His journey highlights the reality of spiritual warfare. The "open doors" he talked about – unsaved status, unrepented sin, disrespect, family involvement in witchcraft (Santoria), idolatry, unforgiveness – these are things that give the enemy legal ground. As Harold learned, these "allow the tormentors to come in."
Biblical References and Teachings: The Sword of the Spirit in Action
Harold's story is interwoven with powerful biblical truths. Understanding these scriptures is key to walking in the freedom he now experiences.
Deliverance is Real: Harold's experience with a deliverance minister, Everett Cox, where around a hundred demons were reportedly cast out, might sound shocking to some. But Jesus Himself cast out demons, and He gave His disciples authority to do the same. "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils..." (Mark 16:17, KJV). Harold mentioned a list of 125 issues, which dropped to 59 after his initial encounter with Jesus, then to 12 after formal deliverance. This is the freedom Jesus promised when He said, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36, KJV).
Our Authority in Christ: One of the most empowering revelations for Harold was Luke 10:19 (KJV): "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." As children of God, once we accept Christ, we have this authority. We don't have to be victims of the enemy's schemes.
The Importance of Renewing the Mind: Harold emphasized that deliverance is a process, a daily walk. A huge part of this is renewing your mind. As Paul writes in Romans 12:2 (KJV): "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God." We must replace the enemy's lies and ungodly belief systems with God's truth. Harold found that about 75% of deliverance is about this mental and spiritual renewal.
The Father's Love: Despite all the hardship and the battles, the ultimate revelation for Harold was the Father's love. He used to think God was mad at him. But through his experiences, especially in Pennsylvania, he came to know God as "Abba Father," a loving Father who isn't angry but full of compassion. "He said, 'Look, son, I love you. Come, come sit here with me... There's some things that we need to work out... But you need to know that I love you.'" This echoes 1 John 4:16 (KJV): "And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." This love trumps everything.
Soul Ties: Harold also touched on the concept of soul ties formed through sexual relationships outside of God's design for marriage. He explained how these ungodly connections can lead to taking on the other person's "demons" or baggage, emphasizing the need to break these ties in prayer. This aligns with the biblical principle of two becoming one flesh (1 Corinthians 6:16) and the spiritual implications of such unions.
The Ongoing Journey: "Are You Prepared?"
A particularly poignant moment in Harold's story came when his beloved wife, Paula, was passing away in January 2024 after a battle with cancer. As he held her hand, knowing she was going to be with the Lord, he heard three distinct words in his head: "Are you prepared?"
This wasn't about Paula's preparedness, but his own. It startled him and became a catalyst for deeper introspection. He realized he had backslidden in some areas and wasn't as ready as he thought. This divine question ignited a renewed hunger for God, for reading the Bible daily, for going deeper in his spiritual walk.
This reminds me of Matthew 24:44 (KJV): "Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh." It's a call to constant vigilance and wholehearted pursuit of God.
And look at what God has done since Harold recommitted himself! He was living on the second floor, struggling financially after Paula's passing. He asked the Lord for a nearby church and affordable housing. God led him to Crossroads Assembly of God, half a mile away, where he found fellowship and love. Then, through the pastor's wife, an affordable apartment became available right next door to the church! As Harold said, "Favor of God!" This is a testament to Hebrews 11:6 (KJV): "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." If you're about God's business, He'll be about yours.
Now, Harold is leading "Freedom Night" at his church, sharing about deliverance and dispelling ungodly belief systems. He's even playing his "Bible Belt Blues" for Jesus at ministry gatherings. From a supernatural encounter with a jacket to a thriving ministry, God's hand is evident.

What's On Your Jacket? Are You Prepared?
Harold's incredible testimony – from the prophetic jacket to the deep understanding of deliverance and the Father's love, all punctuated by the piercing question, "Are you prepared?" – serves as a powerful wake-up call for all of us.
His journey from brokenness to a life empowered by the Holy Spirit shows that no one is beyond God's reach. The supernatural isn't just for Bible times; it's for today, for you and me.
So, I encourage you to reflect:
What's on your "jacket"? Are there areas in your life, past hurts, sins, or generational patterns that have opened doors to the enemy and are hindering your walk with Jesus?
Are you walking in the freedom Christ purchased for you? Deliverance isn't a scary word; it's about stepping into the liberty God intends for His children.
Do you truly know the Father's love? It's a love that casts out all fear and empowers you to overcome.
Are you prepared? Are you diligently seeking God, renewing your mind with His Word, and living each day with eternity in view?
This isn't about condemnation, but about invitation – an invitation to go deeper with Jesus, to experience His healing, His freedom, and His incredible love.
Friends, if Harold's story has touched you, I urge you to take action:
1. Examine Your Life: Prayerfully ask God to show you any "open doors." Confess any known sin. As 1 John 1:9 (KJV) says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
2. Seek Freedom: If you're struggling, seek help. Check out Harold's website, Deliverance101.com, for resources. Remember, "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed" (John 8:36, KJV).
3. Receive the Father's Love: Actively pursue an understanding of God's profound love for you.
4. Renew Your Mind: Immerse yourself in God's Word daily. Let it transform your thinking (Romans 12:2).
