Unlocking Prophetic Words and Receiving Divine Revelation

Image
Prophetic Obedience Today, I want to talk about the importance of being obedient to the prophetic words and revelations God gives us. As Christians called to operate in the prophetic realm, we must learn to discern the voice of God and deliver His timely messages without hesitation. In the YouTube video, I shared an urgent prophetic word that the Lord impressed upon my heart. It was a "right now word" – a word in season that carries immediate relevance and application. Just as Jesus quoted scriptures as "right now words" when battling the devil (Luke 4, Matthew 4), we too must be attentive to the ripples of revelation that God sends our way. The sword of the spirit is the word of God (Ephesians 6:17), and the Lord often speaks to us through key words and phrases from the scriptures. These "right now words" may seem out of context, but they are divinely inspired for a specific purpose and season. Sometimes, we receive prophetic insights or words of knowledg...

Discouragement Got You Down? Here's How to Find Hope and Healing Through Faith

Image
An Encouraging Message I wanted to take a moment to connect with you today and share a message of encouragement.  Things have been a little tough lately, with the weather being cold and feeling generally run down.  On top of that, there's the constant pressure to succeed, and it can be easy to get discouraged  when it feels like you're being overlooked. That's why I wanted to take a moment to pray with you.  In this video, we explore a scripture about promotion coming from God, and how staying faithful in your efforts will be recognized.  We also talk about the dangers of harboring resentment, and how forgiveness can open doors to blessings. There's a powerful message here about staying positive and trusting in God's plan, even when things feel tough.  And hey, maybe like me, you'll find that this message is exactly what you needed to hear today. Here are some other topics covered in the video: Finding a quiet space for prayer The story of David and how his...

A Prophetic Nail: How the Smallest Things Open Mighty Doors

Image
How Great is Our God?  Vision!  Have you ever felt like your role in God's plan is insignificant? Like a tiny nail compared to the vastness of the kingdom? This incredible testimony, experienced by a fellow believer while camping, sheds light on the power of seemingly small things in the prophetic and supernatural realm. The Silence After the Music Imagine being deep in worship with your brother, phones silenced and turned away from the world. The Holy Spirit guides you both to quiet yourselves and truly listen.  Then, in that sacred stillness, something extraordinary happens.  A Vision and a Message The phone, inexplicably turned off, begins to play a powerful worship song - "How Great is Our God."  As the music washes over you, a vision unfolds: a single nail, like those used in the crucifixion, securing a mighty door in place.   The Lord impresses upon you the profound message within this vision.  Just as that seemingly insignificant nail...

Holy Refreshment! A Prophetic Vision During Worship

Image
Holy Refreshment! A Prophetic Vision During Worship  You might've seen my tweet this morning about worry being a state of mind, not a reflection of our circumstances.  It's all about perception, people!  Even with wealth, worry can creep in.  Speaking of God working in amazing ways, I just gotta share this incredible experience I had right after church.  The sermon was titled "Anxious for Nothing: How the Spirit of God Works," and let me tell you, the Holy Spirit was definitely working!  While I was lost in worship, completely in the spirit, I received a vision straight from Heaven. Picture this: a giant orange bucket overflowing with Gatorade being poured down on me!  It was like a refreshing downpour of God's grace.  Now, you know I love football, and what happens when you win a championship? Gatorade bath!  The symbolism hit me like a lightning bolt.  This wasn't just about refreshment, friends.  This was a vision of victor...

Fear

Image
There have been many times in my life where fear crept in.   When I was a child, I was tormented by demons.  I have been in car accidents and perils at sea.  I have been carjacked and mugged at gunpoint. While these experiences did have a certain level of fear they  were quite minor to the time I experienced panic attacks. On June 1st 1999 a strange man was telling me that my Dad had four and a half months to live.  I was in Michigan. I will never forget that day.  I flew to Texas to take care of Dad as he was dying of a cancerous brain tumor. Toward the end of his days after much fasting and prayer, I woke up in sheer panic in the late hours of the night.  I had to run outside.  I thought I was going to die.  During these episodes my heart would pound at 140-170 beats per minute for long periods of time.  I didn't know the human body could endure so much. I was experiencing fear in a big way. What was the root of that terror? ...

If so, then Glynda Lomax's book, " The Wilderness Companion ," might be the perfect guide for you.  Lomax, a popular YouTuber and Christian author, knows what it's like to be in the wilderness. In this book, she shares her own experiences of overcoming challenges and finding faith during difficult times.  The book's cover itself is symbolic. Beyond Words: Cultivating Faith Rooted in Relationship

Image
Calling on Your Faith Today, I want to talk about something that's been on my heart for a while now – a teaching that's been around for a while but can sometimes cause confusion: "calling those things that be not as though they were."  Seeking Clarity and Avoiding Misunderstandings As many of you know, I love diving deep into scripture and ensuring we grasp its true meaning. This concept can get misinterpreted, and I want to offer some insights from my own journey to help us navigate it together.  Faith Rooted in Relationship Listen, there's no doubt that faith is powerful. But here's something I believe strongly: true faith isn't just about saying the right words. It's about a deep, personal connection with God. We can't just throw out phrases "in Jesus' name" and expect things to happen. Genuine faith comes from a place of understanding and a two-way conversation with God through prayer.  Understanding Scripture in Context Sometimes...
