Entering the Secret Place: How to Worship in Spirit and Truth

Image
Entering the Secret Place  I remember standing in the back of a sanctuary once, watching the lights dim and the fog machine start to puff out little clouds of atmosphere. The band was tight—I mean, they had the professional "shimmer" down to a science. The chords were right, the lyrics were theological enough, and everybody was clapping along. But as I stood there, I felt this strange, heavy grieving in my spirit. It wasn't that the music was bad; it was that the Holy Spirit had actually showed up in the room, but He was being largely ignored. He was standing in the aisle, so to speak, ready to heal and deliver, but the program was so rigid that there was no room for Him to move. People thought they were at a concert, looking for entertainment, while the Treasure of Heaven was right there under their noses, untapped. Maybe you’ve felt that same void. You go through the motions, you sing the songs, but your heart feels like it’s banging against a brass ceiling. You’re thi...

FOUR WINDS

Image
We sold most of our possessions from our 4 BR home and squeezed into this 29 foot trailer named the FOUR WINDS. Why? There is an urgent call for the Mississippi Gulf Coast lukewarm to get on fire for Jesus. REVIVAL FIRE. The church has died from what it once was in the book of ACTS. These dry bones can live again and be an exceeding great army. Do you hear the sound of the trumpet? It is time for #TeamJesus to rise up. This could be the LAST CALL! The Name of this trailer was a solid prophetic confirmation. FOUR WINDS Ezekiel 37:9-10 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Come from the FOUR WINDS, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live. (10) So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army. Matt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they sh...

Does Satan Have a Key to Your Mind? The Truth About Spiritual Privacy

Image
Does Satan Know our Thoughts? I remember the smell of stale coffee and the sound of cards riffling through experienced fingers. Years ago, long before I was pouring out rocks of revelation on the podcast, I spent a lot of time at the card table. I wasn't just playing the game; I was studying the people. I figured out early on that human beings have "tells." If a guy hit his straight flush, the very first thing he would do—almost like a reflex—was glance down at his chips and then immediately look away. He was already doing the math, wondering how much he could bleed from the rest of the table. Or I’d watch how they held their cards. Most people naturally organize their hand from largest to smallest, usually keeping the big cards on the left. If you just watched their eyes and their hands, you didn't need to be a psychic to know exactly what they were holding. Many of you come to me with a heavy burden, a nagging fear that the enemy is sitting right inside your head,...

Activating Kingdom Seekers: Knowing the Way of God More Perfectly

Do You Know the Author? I was sitting there with my coffee, the steam rising in the morning light, listening to the pings on my phone. It was my missionary friends over on Voxer. We were deep in a conversation about evangelism—real, boots-on-the-ground evangelism. One of them was talking about the struggle we all face when we’re out there in the "Bible Belt." You know the scene. You approach someone to talk about the radical, life-changing power of Jesus, and before you can even finish your sentence, they put up a hand. "Oh, I already did the prayer," they say. They’ve got their "fire insurance" tucked away in a mental drawer, but there’s no fire in their eyes. There’s no hunger for the presence of God. It’s like they’ve checked a box and then wa lked away from the very Person the box was supposed to connect them to. This is the pain point of modern Christianity. We have millions of people who have "confessed with their mouth" but have never bee...

The Power of His Presence: A 5-Part Journey into Presence Evangelism

Image
Presence Evangelism: Power Encounter Series Introduction I was sitting in a parking lot in Florida, and my stomach was churning with acid. I didn't want to go inside that church. To be honest, I was struggling. I had been on my knees every morning, seeking God, and He kept giving me these prophetic confirmations to go to Florida. I was even doing Gideon-type testing—putting out fleeces because I knew that going would bring friction. I had a list of all these confirmations, and I knew that if I didn't walk through those doors, I would be in flat-out disobedience. You see, many of us feel that same knot in our stomach when we think about sharing our faith. We’ve been told we need a graduate degree in theology or a 501c3 before we can tell our neighbor about Jesus. We’ve been trained to think that evangelism is a series of intellectual arguments or a scripted sales pitch. We have the cure for eternity, yet we feel paralyzed. This is the great disconnect: we know the Word, but...

From the Pit to the Palace: How to Have a Victorious Thought Life

Image
Stop Opposing Yourself Now  Good morning, peeps! This is Conrad from ConradRocks.net , coming to you from a very different setting than usual. I am sitting here in the Hilton in Jackson, Mississippi. As I look around this room, I can’t help but think about the journey Susan and I have been on. Not too long ago, we were living in a trailer. We had sold everything, simplified our lives, and moved into that small space to follow what we felt God was doing. Then, an awesome opportunity opened up for Susan, and suddenly, here we are in the "palace." It’s a literal "pit to the palace" story, but it got me thinking about something much deeper than hotel rooms and trailers. Are you tired of feeling defeated in your own mind? You know that feeling—the one where you’re singing praises in the sanctuary on Sunday, but by Monday morning, your thoughts are a chaotic mess of anxiety, old habits, and "stinkin' thinkin'." You want to serve God, you want to be a ve...
