The Moral Decline of America and the Call to Repentance

Image
America's Moral Cultural Shift In this video, I examine the moral and cultural shift that has occurred in America over the past several decades. From the decline of traditional family values and the rise of explicit content in media, to the removal of God from the public sphere and the staggering increase in incarceration rates, this sobering analysis paints a picture of a nation that has turned away from its Judeo-Christian foundations. Key Highlights: - The transition from wholesome entertainment like "The Three Stooges" and "Leave it to Beaver" to more mature and explicit content like "The Sopranos" and "Desperate Housewives" - The shift in popular comedy from clean comedians like Jack Benny to more controversial figures like Richard Pryor - The introduction and rise of gangsta rap, which "glorifies all sorts of illicit behavior" - The removal of prayer from schools and the increased push of evolutionary theory in 1962 - The dram...

Show drafts Crimson Rider: A Prophetic Vision of Judgment and Redemption

Image
A Crimson Revelation: Sin, Judgment, and the Blood of Christ In this episode, we delve into a recent vision of a crimson horseman riding out of black clouds.  This imagery connects to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, but with a twist.  As we explore scripture, we unpack the meaning of the crimson color and how it relates to both judgment and redemption. The Coming Storm and the Color Crimson The vision begins with black clouds and a horseman cloaked in crimson.  Revelation 18 speaks of judgment coming, and the call for God's people to separate themselves from the world's sin system.  This aligns with the black clouds signifying a coming judgment. The crimson color is key.  We travel to Jeremiah 4:28, where God's judgment is pronounced, and the people attempt to cover their sin with crimson – but it's a futile effort.  Their hearts remain unchanged. Sin Stained Crimson, Washed White as Snow Isaiah 1:18 offers a contrasting message.  While si...

God is in the Miracle Business!

Image
Even now, I look at the storm in the natural and let my flesh freak out.  I really shouldn't because God has delivered me time and time again from certain calamity. God uses miracles to show that He is God and He does in fact save His people!  If it wasn’t a miracle, then you weren’t really in a bad storm, and you might attribute your recovery to chance.   A lot of Christians are going through a rough patch in their lives right now.  Words of encouragement seem hollow. It is because, they are not going through the fire with you, but are looking at your vicious war from a safe vantage point up on their hill that God has provided for them.   It is almost as if they have binoculars and are eating popcorn watching the whole situation unfold from afar while your guts are spilling onto the ground. It is nice when a fellow Christian is willing to come down from the comfort of their hill, and hold your hand and pray with you, and share your pain. ...

The Truth About Easter: Pagan Origins and Christian Compromise

Image
The Christian Compromise Easter is one of the most celebrated holidays in the Christian world, but does its observance align with biblical teachings? As Christians, we must examine the origins and practices associated with this day to determine if we are truly honoring the resurrection of Jesus Christ or inadvertently participating in pagan rituals. The Name "Easter" Itself The very name "Easter" is derived from the ancient fertility goddess Ishtar (also known as Astarte, Ashtoreth, and other variations). This pagan deity was worshipped long before the birth of Christ, and her symbols included the rabbit (fertility) and eggs (reproduction). When the early Catholic Church sought to consolidate pagan religions, they adopted the same timing and practices for their celebration of Christ's resurrection. Pagan Symbols and Practices Many of the modern Easter traditions have direct links to pagan fertility rituals and goddess worship. Decorating eggs, the Easter bunny, ...

Overcoming Feelings of Abandonment by God: A Personal Journey

Image
Feeling Abandoned by God: A Temporary Setback As a Christian, there have been times when I've allowed circumstances to cloud my perspective, leading me to feel as though God had abandoned me. One such instance occurred after recovering from a debilitating bout of flu. Despite regaining my physical health, I found myself plagued by fatigue, lethargy, and a barrage of negative thoughts. In this weakened state, I started fixating on the perceived shortcomings in my life – the lack of energy, the absence of retirement savings, and the unfulfilled promises. It felt as though God had taken a vacation from me, leaving me to grapple with these challenges alone. However, upon reflection, I realized that this was merely a temporary setback, a faithless and childish fit, as I had forgotten the fundamental truths of our Christian walk. Trials and Tribulations: God's School for Overcoming As Christians, we are not exempt from trials and tribulations. In fact, these challenges serve as our v...

The Power of Influence: Money, Love, or Faith?

Image
What has the most influence? Yesterday, I found myself pondering a simple yet profound question, "What holds more sway over our actions - money or love?" As someone who has experienced the highs and lows of both, I've had my fair share of moments that I'm not particularly proud of. But haven't we all? This introspection was sparked by an encounter at the mall. A young woman, working in an open booth, wore an expression of defeat. It was clear she didn't want to be there, but necessity demanded her presence. In that moment, I realized she had compromised her values for the sake of financial gain. This isn't an isolated incident. Many people enter industries like sex work or drug trafficking due to financial desperation, becoming numb to their values and prioritizing the pursuit of wealth. The teachings from Sunday school are often overshadowed by more immediate needs or desires. But what about love? During a recent trip to Target, I noticed the women around...

Christians Getting Sick - My Reflections While Battling the Flu

Image
I am recovering right now As I write this, I'm hopefully on the mend after fighting a nasty bout of the flu. However, this flu brought along some additional illnesses that I've had to contend with as well. Fever-Induced Forgetfulness When you have a fever, you tend to do some silly things. For example, I've been writing down my medication times on a dry erase board on the fridge. But then I'll get out of bed to check what's next for medicine, only to be hit with a coughing fit or forget why I even went into the kitchen in the first place! The delirium is real. Blogging Through Sickness Despite feeling awful, I'm experiencing blogging withdrawal and feel compelled to share an update from this delirious dimension I've been inhabiting. Of course, being sick also has me pondering a few things: The Cost of Free Healthcare Part of me wishes healthcare was free for all. But that's a loaded issue – how can healthcare truly be free when someone has to pay for it?...
