The Moral Decline of America and the Call to Repentance

Image
America's Moral Cultural Shift In this video, I examine the moral and cultural shift that has occurred in America over the past several decades. From the decline of traditional family values and the rise of explicit content in media, to the removal of God from the public sphere and the staggering increase in incarceration rates, this sobering analysis paints a picture of a nation that has turned away from its Judeo-Christian foundations. Key Highlights: - The transition from wholesome entertainment like "The Three Stooges" and "Leave it to Beaver" to more mature and explicit content like "The Sopranos" and "Desperate Housewives" - The shift in popular comedy from clean comedians like Jack Benny to more controversial figures like Richard Pryor - The introduction and rise of gangsta rap, which "glorifies all sorts of illicit behavior" - The removal of prayer from schools and the increased push of evolutionary theory in 1962 - The dram...

Show drafts Crimson Rider: A Prophetic Vision of Judgment and Redemption

Image
A Crimson Revelation: Sin, Judgment, and the Blood of Christ In this episode, we delve into a recent vision of a crimson horseman riding out of black clouds.  This imagery connects to the four horsemen of the apocalypse, but with a twist.  As we explore scripture, we unpack the meaning of the crimson color and how it relates to both judgment and redemption. The Coming Storm and the Color Crimson The vision begins with black clouds and a horseman cloaked in crimson.  Revelation 18 speaks of judgment coming, and the call for God's people to separate themselves from the world's sin system.  This aligns with the black clouds signifying a coming judgment. The crimson color is key.  We travel to Jeremiah 4:28, where God's judgment is pronounced, and the people attempt to cover their sin with crimson – but it's a futile effort.  Their hearts remain unchanged. Sin Stained Crimson, Washed White as Snow Isaiah 1:18 offers a contrasting message.  While si...

God is in the Miracle Business!

Image
Even now, I can look at the storm in the natural and feel my flesh start to freak out. I know better. I really do. The Lord has delivered me time and time again from things that looked like certain calamity. He has opened doors when there were no doors, sent help when I could not see help coming, and brought peace into situations that should have swallowed me whole. But the flesh has a short memory. One minute I am testifying about how God came through. The next minute I am staring at the waves like Peter and wondering if this one is going to take me under. That is why I need the Word. That is why I need the Spirit. That is why I need brothers and sisters who do more than throw a religious slogan from a distance. I need people who will come down into the valley and remind me, not as a theory, but as a living witness: God is in the miracle business. And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the...

The Truth About Easter: Pagan Origins and Christian Compromise

Image
The Christian Compromise I was scrolling through my Twitter feed the other day, and something hit me like a ton of bricks. I started seeing posts from pagans and witches—people who openly practice the dark arts—wishing each other a "Happy Ishtar." They weren't talking about the Resurrection of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They were celebrating their own ancient deities. One post really caught my eye: "Resurrection Sunday! May Jesus, bunnies, and eggs be with you." They were literally making fun of Christians. Why? Because they know something many people in the pews don't: the "Easter" traditions many Christians hold dear are the exact same ones the pagans are using to worship demons. It’s a classic case of spiritual blinders being pulled over the eyes of the faithful. We find ourselves in a strange place where the world is mocking us for mixing the holy with the profane. You might feel like you're just having "harmless fun" wit...

Overcoming Feelings of Abandonment by God: A Personal Journey

Image
Feeling Abandoned by God: A Temporary Setback As a Christian, there have been times when I've allowed circumstances to cloud my perspective, leading me to feel as though God had abandoned me. One such instance occurred after recovering from a debilitating bout of flu. Despite regaining my physical health, I found myself plagued by fatigue, lethargy, and a barrage of negative thoughts. In this weakened state, I started fixating on the perceived shortcomings in my life – the lack of energy, the absence of retirement savings, and the unfulfilled promises. It felt as though God had taken a vacation from me, leaving me to grapple with these challenges alone. However, upon reflection, I realized that this was merely a temporary setback, a faithless and childish fit, as I had forgotten the fundamental truths of our Christian walk. Trials and Tribulations: God's School for Overcoming As Christians, we are not exempt from trials and tribulations. In fact, these challenges serve as our v...

Money, Love, or Jesus: What Really Has the Most Influence Over Your Life?

Image
Yesterday I found myself pondering a simple question that is not simple at all: what has the most influence over our actions — money, love, or Jesus? That question sounds like something you could answer quickly in a Sunday school class. The correct answer is obvious, right? Jesus. Of course Jesus should have the most influence. We know the right words. We know the scriptures. We know what we are supposed to say. But our lives often tell the truth before our mouths do. We make decisions every day. Where we go. What we wear. What we watch. What we buy. Who we call. Who we avoid. What we compromise. What we defend. What we excuse. Every action is serving something. The question is not whether we are being influenced. The question is who or what is doing the influencing. When Money Starts Making the Decisions This thought hit me during an encounter at the mall. There was a young woman working in one of those open booths, and her face looked defeated. She did not look excited. She did ...

Christians Getting Sick - My Reflections While Battling the Flu

Image
I am recovering right now, and sickness has a way of making you ponder things you might not slow down long enough to consider when everything is going well. When you are healthy, you can move fast. You can work, talk, pray, blog, clean, run errands, and act like your body is just going to cooperate forever. Then a fever comes along and suddenly walking to the refrigerator feels like a mission trip. You get up to take medicine, cough halfway across the room, and forget why you were standing there in the first place. That is where I have been. Writing down medication times on a dry erase board. Trying to remember what I took and when. Battling the flu and the extra junk that came along with it. Half-delirious, half-frustrated, and apparently still suffering from blogging withdrawal. But even sickness can become a place of reflection if we let the Lord speak in the middle of it. Sickness Reminds Us We Are Not Invincible One thing sickness does quickly is humble us. A fever does not c...
