Wendy McCullogh 40 Day Water Fast

The Supernatural Power of the 40-Day Water Fast: A Journey into Spiritual Depth I remember sitting in my studio, the Mississippi chill seeping through the windows, thinking about the weight of the spiritual atmosphere. There are times in our walk with the Lord where we feel like we are hitting a ceiling. We pray, we read, we go to church, but there is a "more" that seems just out of reach. We see it in the pages of the Bible—men like Moses, Elijah, and our Lord Jesus walking in a dimension of power that seems like a fairy tale to the modern mind. But is it? Lately, I have been talking a lot about having a real, vibrant, spiritual relationship with the biblical Jesus. That is my passion. It is the reason I write books like OPEN YOUR EYES: MY SUPERNATURAL JOURNEY . I want you to see what I see. I want you to experience the manifest presence of God. But let's be honest: some things in the spirit realm do not move just because we ask nicely. There is a specific key that Jesu...

Breaking the Box: Why Healing is the Dinner Bell for the Gospel - Doug Hanson Interview

Image
Healing is the Dinner Bell for Salvation The air in the Waffle House was thick with the smell of burnt coffee and sizzling bacon. It was one of those quiet mornings where the world feels like it’s holding its breath. Across from me sat my friend Doug Hanson. Most people see just another "regular guy," but I’ve come to know him as something else—a man who carries the fire of the early church right into the mundane places of life. There was nobody in there but us and two employees. One of them, a lady named Mary, was clearly hurting. You could see it in the way she moved, that stiff, guarded posture of someone living with chronic pain. Doug didn’t make a scene. He didn’t pull out a pulpit or ask for an offering. He just looked at her with the compassion of Jesus and asked if he could pray for her. Within seconds of him commanding that pain to leave, her eyes went wide. The grimace vanished. "Wow," she whispered, moving her arm freely for the first time in goodn...

Know Jesus, Don't Just Know About Him

Why do we believe what we believe? It's the question most of us avoid. We inherit beliefs from family, absorb them from our church pews, soak them up from television preachers, and accept what we're taught in Sunday school. But if we aren't serious about examining our beliefs—really testing them against the Word and the Spirit—then we're setting ourselves up for a terrible shock. Maybe even the kind of shock described in Matthew 7:21-23. The Sobering Reality of Matthew 7:21-23 "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." (Matthew 7:21-23, KJV) I ponder on this passage often. These aren't backslidd...

Deliverance and True Freedom

Image
Suspecting the Truth - Knowing the Truth - being Free. The bible says that when we know the truth we are free (john 8:32). Free from what? How about bondage of demonic oppression - obsession for one thing? Have you ever been delivered from an obsessive thought or compulsion by the power of God? If you have, you definitely know about it. The torment leaves and you are FREE! Sometimes God can do this and we don't understand it. It just happens because of His sovereign will. Sometimes, we can seek God for years to take this obsession from us but it won't leave. David said "I have kept myself from mine iniquity" Psalm 18:23 Just like King Saul was sent a tormenting spirit by the Lord (1 Samuel 16:14), David had some iniquities to deal with too. David loved the Lord enough to keep from working iniquity (Matt 7:23) but had the iniquity still in him. Jesus was bruised for our iniquities (Isaiah 53:5). He was wounded for our transgressions,...

Sue's Home - Diane Easley Interview

Turning Houses into Homes: Healing the Spiritual Roots of Homelessness The humid air of the Mississippi Gulf Coast has a way of slowing you down, forcing you to notice the things—and the people—you might normally rush past. I was sitting there with a cup of coffee, looking out at the live oaks draped in Spanish moss, when I realized how often we overlook the "invisible" among us. We talk a lot about the supernatural and the prophetic over at ConradRocks.net , but sometimes the most prophetic thing you can do is see someone that the rest of the world has decided to ignore. I’ve spent a lot of time walking the streets, sharing the Gospel, and meeting folks where they are. Usually, when we think of the homeless, we think of the men under the piers or the folks panhandling near the Walmart. But there’s a whole other world of hurting people—women and children—who aren’t sitting on the sidewalk. They are couch-surfing, sleeping in cramped cars, or running from shadows that most ...

Singing in the Fire: How Worship Breaks the Ceramic Beam of Iniquity

Image
Iniquity and deliverance - Prophetic Vision Welcome, welcome, welcome to another edition of Coffee with Conrad. This is Conrad from ConradRocks.net . Pull up a chair and let’s get into the deep things of God. Today, I want to talk to you about something that I believe is a "right now" word for the Body of Christ. It’s about those struggles we all face—those habitual, nagging sins that seem to stay with us no matter how much we pray. I’m talking about the beam of iniquity. Recently, I was in Houston, Texas, attending a corporate worship setting at a home church with some dear friends, Jonathan and Olivia. If you’ve never been to a house church in Houston, let me tell you, it’s a different kind of atmosphere. People there aren't looking at the back of someone's head for thirty minutes before rushing off to Luby's for lunch. They are hungry. They stay until two or three in the morning just seeking the face of God. The hunger in that room was palpable, like a physic...
