Why Your Ministry Might Be Blocking Your Destiny (and What to Do About It)

Image
Letting Go of the Bar and Diving into God's Perfect Will I've been seeking the Lord fiercely lately, storming the gates of heaven for revelation. But sometimes, it feels like there's a brass heaven blocking my prayers. It's in these moments that I realize the importance of persevering in prayer and seeking God diligently. You know, as Christians, we often find ourselves fully invested in a particular ministry or way of doing things. We've put so much time and effort into it that it becomes hard to let go, even when God is calling us to something new. It's like we're holding onto a bar made up of our own thoughts, arguments, and patterns. We're stuck in a two-dimensional reality, unable to see the fullness of what God has for us. But here's the thing: Jesus is right there, inviting us to let go of that bar and follow Him. It's like He's reaching into our flat land existence, offering us a taste of the three-dimensional life He has for us. When...

Incredible Testimony of an Undercover Missionary to China

Image
One Man's Covert Mission to Communist China As a Christian blogger, I recently had the privilege of interviewing an anonymous missionary who had been called by God to take the gospel to mainland China - a country where Christianity is illegal and evangelism is extremely dangerous. This undercover brother's powerful testimony left me in awe of how God is moving mightily, even in the hardest spiritual soil.   A Divine Vision and Three Years of Prayer It all started with a vision from the Lord over the course of three years, revealing specific places in China that this missionary was being called to. After praying intently and seeing God provide the means, contacts, and finances, he embarked on this covert missionary trip to China with two others.  Entering the Heart of Religious Persecution   Once on the ground in China, they connected with local hosts and witnessed firsthand the harsh reality of Christian persecution. They were explicitly warned that if caught sp...

Jesus in the Clouds: A Story of Family, Faith, and the Unexplainable

Image
Miraculous Signs: The Photograph That Changed My Perspective on Faith Have you ever looked up at the clouds and seen something extraordinary? For me, that moment came in the form of a photograph depicting Jesus in the sky. This wasn't just any picture; it was a powerful testament to faith and a story that continues to move me deeply. It all began with my dad. In 1999, a few months before he passed away, he showed me a photograph that deeply affected him. It was a picture of Jesus in the clouds, obtained from a gas station in Hamlin, Texas. The story behind it was even more remarkable. A young girl, gazing skyward, saw the image of Jesus so vividly that she insisted her father capture it. Just days later, the girl tragically passed away. As the scripture says in Revelation 1:7, "behold he cometh with clouds... every eye shall see him..." This encounter became a powerful reminder that Jesus is ever present, watching over us. What truly astounded me was the fact that my own ...

Curtis Petrey Shares a Prison Testimony

Image
From Darkness to Light: A Testimony of Transformation in Prison The Power of God's Light in the Darkest Places I have a powerful story from Curtis Petrey about his experiences ministering in Mississippi State Penitentiary. It's a reminder that God's love can reach even the most hardened hearts. Curtis and Nancy, along with others, volunteered in the prison for over a decade. One encounter that always sticks with Curtis is the time they faced a cell with a sign: "Satan is my master." Despite the hostility, Curtis felt compelled to engage. He knelt down and began sharing Jesus, only to be met with a torrent of profanity. Yet, amidst the anger, something incredible happened. The man drew an impressive picture of Jesus. It was a stark contrast to the hatred he expressed verbally. Curtis recognized this as a turning point. He pointed out that while the man's words spoke of darkness, his spirit, through the picture, revealed a yearning for the light. He offered the...
