Is America Speeding Towards Destruction? A Call to Repentance

Image
America's Reckless Race Towards Ruin As I was reviewing some of my old podcast episodes recently, I came across one from 2008 that struck a chord with me. In it, I was discussing how America seems to be like a car speeding recklessly towards a cliff of destruction.  So many of our political leaders swear an oath on the Bible to uphold the Constitution, only to then turn around and try to rewrite both the Bible and the Constitution. This is taking the Lord's name in vain. People are frustrated and hungering for righteousness, but the only One who can truly satisfy that hunger is Jesus Christ. Sadly, it seems no one is listening to Jesus. God has spoken through miraculous signs, like splitting the pulpit at Christian Tabernacle in 1996 as a call for America to repent. But what did the church do? Put the pulpit back up and ignore the clear message. We continue in our wicked ways, becoming more hypocritical and powerless. Some churches are even rejecting God's definition of mar...

Experiencing the Power of Unity at Memphis Exalts Jesus

Image
Memphis Exalts Jesus! Today I want to share an inspiring event that truly exemplifies the power of unity and the supernatural presence of Jesus in our lives. On April 4, 2015, we gathered at AutoZone Park for an event called Memphis Exalts Jesus, and it was nothing short of miraculous. A Divine Appointment with the Number Seven Before diving into the event, I want to share a personal experience that underscores the mystical nature of our journey to Memphis. Recently, I aired a podcast about the biblical significance of the number seven. This number has played a profound role in my life, so much so that after recording the podcast, I had a surreal encounter at Walmart. As I stood in line, a girl randomly turned and said, "July 7th." This date has deep connections to my life and our move to Memphis, where everything seemed to align perfectly with the number seven. From church addresses to prorated rent, the number seven was a clear sign that we were meant to be here.  Seeking H...

The Supernatural Significance of the Number Seven in My Life

Image
Divine Significance of the Number Seven I want to share with you the amazing role the number seven has played in my life and how I believe it points to the supernatural hand of God. As Christians, we know that numbers can hold deep spiritual significance in Scripture. The number seven, in particular, is mentioned hundreds of times and is often associated with completion, perfection, and God's divine purposes.  I first became aware of the special meaning of seven when I was just 12 years old. On July 7, 1977 (7/7/77), my dad and I were on a road trip. He turned to me and said, "Conrad, I want you to always remember this date and this moment." From then on, he would regularly ask me, "Where were we on the 7th day of the 7th month in '77?" I never forgot. Over the years, I started to notice sevens popping up in uncanny ways - in phone numbers, addresses, and more. My dad and I began to see it as "our number," a special bond between us and a reminder o...

Jennifer Warhawk Testimony - From Pagan to Christian

Image
From Priestess to Christ Follower Introduction: I recently had the privilege of interviewing Jennifer Warhawk, a woman with an incredible story of faith. Jennifer's journey took her from being raised in a Christian home, to exploring paganism and atheism, before finally returning to Christ with a newfound passion and conviction. Her unique perspective, especially on topics like the pagan roots of many Christian holidays, is eye-opening and thought-provoking. I'm excited to share Jennifer's powerful testimony with you today. Jennifer's Early Years: Though raised in a Christian family, Jennifer says the faith was more about going to church than truly living for Christ at home. This laid the foundation for her to easily fall away from Christianity in her rebellious teenage years. Jennifer's dad's third wife actually gave her a book on witchcraft that started her down the path of exploring paganism.  Diving into Paganism: As a young adult, Jennifer got involved with...

Falling on the Rock and Experiencing God's Presence

Image
Experiencing God's Presence Fully I've got some exciting things to share with you today that I believe will really bless you and stir your faith.  Recently, as Susan and I were praying in the car, I had a vision of a wooden cart filled with manure. At first I didn't understand the meaning, but then the interpretation came rushing in. It reminded me of Jesus' parable in Luke 13 about the unfruitful fig tree that the owner wanted to cut down, but the gardener asked to fertilize it for one more year to see if it would bear fruit. I believe this speaks to where many of us are at right now. We may feel like we've been dealt a bad hand in life or that things aren't going the way we hoped. But we have to remember - God owns the whole deck! He has a better plan for us if we're willing to let go of what we're clinging to so tightly.  The religious leaders in Jesus' day rejected him as the Messiah because they didn't want to lose their position and power. ...

Is There a Strong Man in the Church Today?

Image
Revival and Denominationalism Today Today we’re diving deep into a topic that’s been heavy on my heart, something I believe is critically impacting the body of Christ today. You know, sometimes even when I'm on a short break, perhaps enjoying a quiet morning with my coffee, the Lord just drops powerful insights that demand to be shared. And that's exactly what happened recently, leading to this crucial conversation we need to have. It's a message about challenging the status quo, embracing radical faith, and recognizing where our focus truly needs to be in this pivotal hour. Before we jump into the main discussion, I want to share something incredibly exciting brewing here in Memphis. There's a powerful gathering on the horizon called  Exalt Jesus Memphis . On April 4th, 2015, from 1 PM to 5 PM, at AutoZone Park (Redbird Stadium), the body of Christ is coming together to simply worship our Lord  Jesus . It's an incredible opportunity to unify and lift His name hig...

A Journey from Tragedy to Triumph: Mike Norris' Story

Image
Bicycles, Burritos, and God's Plan I had the honor of interviewing Mike Norris, a man with an incredible testimony of how God took the tragedy of losing his teenage son and transformed it into a ministry that is changing lives across the globe.  In 2011, Mike received the devastating news that his 18-year-old son Christopher, along with Christopher's mother and two other children, had been killed in a car accident while traveling home from a family trip. Christopher had been an active participant in mission trips and was scheduled to leave for Japan just days after the accident occurred.  In the months following this horrific loss, Mike struggled with anger and questioned God. But in the midst of his grief, God spoke to him, impressing John 3:16 on his heart and giving Mike peace that Christopher, as a believer, now had eternal life. About a year later, Mike took his first mission trip to Thailand, visiting the orphanage his church had been supporting. The experience opened hi...

Using the Sword for Unity, Not Division

Image
God's Word: Uniting, Not Dividing God has recently been speaking to me a lot about worshiping in spirit and truth. It's amazing how people all over are posting revelations they're receiving about this at the same time.  I've noticed there are divisions happening among Christians, with many using the "sword of the Spirit," which is the Word of God, against each other. They're drawing lines in the sand based on denominations and doctrinal positions. But brothers and sisters, this should not be! Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one. We need to learn to embrace each other as the Body of Christ. As we mature spiritually, we progress from the "milk" of basic teaching to the "meat" of deeper revelation. But we must approach it with humility, realizing there are many things that are "too wonderful" for us to fully grasp right now. Angels are very careful to only speak what God has told them to say. In contrast, we humans often...
