From Witchcraft to Worship: Alexandria Butler's Radical Transformation

The Transformative Power of the Holy Spirit

Today on Coffee with Conrad, I had the incredible privilege of interviewing Alexandria Butler, a woman with a powerful testimony of God's redemptive love and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. Alexandria's story is one that will inspire and encourage you, no matter where you are on your spiritual journey.

Growing up surrounded by the darkness of witchcraft and bitterness, Alexandria seemed destined for a life of pain and negativity. But God had other plans. Through a divine encounter on Interstate 35, Jesus met Alexandria in her brokenness and radically changed the trajectory of her life.

Here is the Audio Podcast Version of our interview:

As Alexandria shared her story with me, I was struck by the parallels in our own testimonies. Like Alexandria, I too struggled with demonic torment as a child. But also like her, I had grandparents and relatives who sowed seeds of faith into my life from a young age. Those seeds, planted in love, bore fruit years later as we each surrendered our lives to Christ.

One of the most impactful parts of Alexandria's testimony was hearing about her journey to being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Despite facing opposition and confusion, Alexandria persisted in her pursuit of this precious gift. And when she finally received it, the change in her life was undeniable. She went from being burdened and heavy to feeling 100 pounds lighter - delivered and set free to live in victory.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit also empowered Alexandria for ministry. No longer content to sit on the sidelines, she began actively sharing the gospel, laying hands on the sick, and casting out demons. Her story is proof that God wants to use all of us to advance His Kingdom, if we will simply yield to His Spirit.

Alexandria's testimony carries an important message for the Church today. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to live the Christian life. We need His anointing to be effective witnesses for Christ. My prayer is that her story will light a fire in your heart, that you too would seek after the fullness of the Spirit.

Here is the Live Interview:

I also hope this interview encourages any grandparents listening. Never underestimate the importance of sowing spiritual seeds into your grandchildren's lives. Your prayers and godly example can make an eternal difference, even if you don't see the fruit right away. Keep planting and watering, knowing God will bring the growth.

I'm so grateful Alexandria took the time to share her story with us. I know it will be a blessing and an inspiration to all who hear it. My friends, if you don't know the power of the Holy Spirit in your life, I encourage you to cry out to God for it. He is faithful to fill those who hunger and thirst for Him. And that fullness is available for you today.

From Brokenness to Impact: Richard's Story

A Powerful Testimony of God's Transforming Love: Richard James Dixon Jr.'s Story

Recently on the "Coffee with Conrad" podcast, I had the privilege of interviewing Richard James Dixon Jr. from Real Talk Interactive about his powerful testimony of how Jesus Christ transformed his life. This inspiring story is a must-listen for any Christian who loves to hear about the supernatural power of God at work.

Richard grew up in a godly family with six siblings. His parents raised them in holiness, but Richard admits he was a mischievous child who acted out and put his parents through a lot. Even at a young age though, he felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit whenever he misbehaved.

One pivotal moment came when God allowed Richard to see how exhausted his mother was with his behavior. It broke his heart and he realized he needed to change. Around this time, Richard also experienced sexual abuse from someone outside the family. This left deep scars that affected him mentally for years to come.

As he matured, Richard threw himself into church activities like playing drums, teaching Sunday school and leading youth ministry. But inside he still struggled with the trauma of his abuse. After a girlfriend tragically died, Richard turned cold-hearted, feeling like he was toxic and nobody should be close to him.

But God wasn't done with Richard's story. He brought Jennifer into Richard's life, a woman who persistently pursued a relationship with him. Though Richard resisted at first, God made it clear that Jennifer was the one for him. Their marriage became a powerful ministry and testimony of God's love.

During the pandemic, God laid it on Richard's heart to start Positiv Impact, a non-profit dedicated to providing positive atmospheres and support for at-risk youth in the community. Having experienced the breakdown of the family firsthand, Richard knows how vital it is for the church to minister outside its four walls.

One of Richard's greatest joys is seeing the darkness lift from these young people's faces as they experience the love of God through his ministry. As he vulnerably shared about his own suicidal thoughts in the past, Richard testified that it was only by God's grace and the support of family and church that he made it through.

No matter what poor decisions we make or what evil comes against us, Richard's story is proof that God can redeem anything for our good and His glory. If you feel lost, broken or too far gone, know that nothing is too hard for God. He is ready and willing to transform your life just like He did for Richard.

Radical Discipleship: Jesus vs. Modern Christianity

Radical Discipleship: Rediscovering the Transformative Power of Following Jesus

What did Jesus Really mean when He said "Make Disciples"?

As I delved into researching the stark differences between first-century discipleship and our modern practices, I was struck by how far we've drifted from Jesus' original intent. In this podcast, I explore what it truly meant to be a disciple in Jesus' time and how we can recapture that radical, life-altering commitment today.

In first-century Israel, being a disciple of a rabbi was a high calling that required complete dedication. Disciples would leave everything behind—family, possessions, and their former way of life—to follow their rabbi closely, learning to imitate him in every way. The goal was not merely to acquire knowledge but to become a living embodiment of the rabbi's teachings and character.

Contrast this with today's discipleship, which often emphasizes comfort, personal fulfillment, and classroom-style learning over the sacrificial, relational transformation that Jesus modeled. We've traded the power of life-on-life mentorship for the convenience of curriculum-based programs. We've made disciple-making a compartmentalized activity rather than the all-encompassing lifestyle it was for the early church.

But Jesus' call to "make disciples" is as compelling and costly today as it was 2,000 years ago. It's a summons to deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow him wholeheartedly. It's an invitation to be transformed from the inside out as we learn to imitate Jesus in every aspect of our lives.

The Stark Contrast of Discipleship

As I explored in the podcast, this kind of radical discipleship requires a paradigm shift:

1. From comfort to sacrifice: Following Jesus means being willing to suffer for his sake, seeing persecution as a privilege rather than a problem.

2. From information transfer to transformational lifestyle: Discipleship is about becoming like Jesus in our character, not just acquiring biblical knowledge.

3. From compartmentalized programs to integrated life-on-life mentorship: Disciple-making should be woven into the fabric of our daily lives, not relegated to a weekly class.

4. From clergy-driven ministry to empowering all believers: Every disciple is called to become a disciple-maker, sharing the gospel and mentoring others.

5. From institutional maintenance to missional focus: Our ultimate goal is not to build impressive churches but to equip and send out mature disciples to transform the world.

As followers of Jesus, we are called to nothing less than conformity to Christ—a lifelong journey of cross-carrying obedience and Spirit-empowered transformation. This is the heart of biblical discipleship, and it's what the church desperately needs to recover today.

I encourage you to explore the links provided in the show notes to dive deeper into this fascinating topic. May we have the courage to embrace the radical, costly call of Jesus to make disciples who make disciples, just as he originally intended. Let's recapture the transformative power of authentic discipleship together.

Discerning True Prophecy: Lessons from Biblical Examples and Failed Predictions

A Biblical Approach to Prophetic Discernment

As Christians with a deep interest in the prophetic realm, it can be all too easy to get swept up in the hype and speculation that often surrounds major celestial events or geopolitical shifts. From failed rapture predictions to sensational claims about the "Shemitah" cycle, the modern Church has far too often traded genuine spiritual insight for emotionally-charged narratives that appeal to our desire to know the future.

Conrad tackles this critical issue head-on, drawing a clear distinction between the characteristics of true biblical prophecy and the logical fallacies underlying so many contemporary prophetic claims. By examining examples like Gideon, Jeremiah, and Samuel, he provides a robust framework for developing the spiritual discernment needed to navigate this complex landscape.

One of the key lessons Conrad emphasizes is the importance of avoiding the trap of "prophecy by hindsight." Far too often, self-proclaimed prophets engage in a kind of reverse engineering, cherry-picking historical events to fit a predetermined narrative about the future. This Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy, as it's known, creates the illusion of accuracy while shielding the prophet from any real accountability.

In contrast, genuine prophetic words in Scripture are consistently accompanied by clear divine validation and confirmations that bolster the recipient's faith. Whether it's Gideon's fleece, Jeremiah's unexpected land purchase, or Samuel's corroborating vision, these biblical examples demonstrate how the Holy Spirit provides tangible assurance to those who hear His voice.

Of course, the temptation to get caught up in end-times speculation is ever-present, and Conrad doesn't shy away from addressing this issue as well. As he points out, an unhealthy preoccupation with the rapture, the tribulation, and other eschatological scenarios can actually distract us from the Great Commission that Christ has given to His Church. Instead of sitting back and waiting for the world to end, we are called to be salt and light, actively participating in the advancement of God's Kingdom.

For those seeking to cultivate a mature, biblical approach to the prophetic, this podcast episode is an essential listen. By learning to discern true prophecy from mere human speculation, we can avoid the pitfalls that have ensnared so many well-meaning believers, and instead focus our energy on the transformative work that the Holy Spirit desires to accomplish in and through us.

So why not carve out some time today to dive into this thought-provoking discussion? Your spiritual senses are sure to be sharpened, and you may even find yourself better equipped to navigate the prophetic landscape with wisdom and discernment.

Prophetic Collision: A Wake-Up Call for America and the Church

Prophetic Warning to America

In a shocking incident on March 26th, 2024, the cargo ship "Dali" lost propulsion and crashed into the Francis Scott Key Bridge in a catastrophic collision. But this event was more than just a maritime accident - it carried profound prophetic implications that the American church cannot ignore.

The Controversial UN Abstention

Just hours prior, the United States took the unprecedented step of abstaining from a United Nations vote calling for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. This marked the first time in history that America refused to stand with its longtime ally Israel, appearing to "turn its back" on the nation.

The Prophetic Artist: Dali

Astonishingly, the name of the ship itself seems linked to famous surrealist painter Salvador Dali, whose works provide eerie foreshadowing of America's spiritual state:

Dali's 1959 work "The Discovery of America" depicts Columbus's arrival, but with clear Christian imagery like crosses raining down, suggesting spiritual warfare. The ship carries both crosses and a female figure that could represent Liberty or something more sinister.

A decade later, "Poetry Of America" shows a bleaker vision, with a melting clock face signaling time running out. The candle-headed figure represents a powerless, compromised church.

The Francis Scott Key Bridge

But the prophetic implications don't stop there. The Francis Scott Key Bridge commemorates the author of the Star-Spangled Banner - a symbol of America's patriotic beginnings. Its catastrophic collapse mirrors the breakdown between the government and the people it represents.

A Call to Repentance

As the podcast explores, this incident carries solemn warnings that America has strayed from its foundations. Like the powerless Dali figures, the church seems to have lost its way, pursuing hollow religion over spiritual vitality.

The only hope lies in a sweeping repentance movement, humbling ourselves, praying fervently, and turning from wickedness (2 Chronicles 7:14). Will the American church heed these prophetic warnings before it's too late?

Listen to this gripping podcast episode for a full analysis of the prophetic meanings behind the "Dali" ship collision and the urgent call to spiritual renewal. Share this with others who need to hear this sobering prophetic word for America.

Sowing the Word - Bearing Kingdom Fruit

Reap a Harvest of Faith: Become a Co-Laborer with God

Have you ever felt a yearning to make a real difference in the world? That feeling of wanting your life to count for something bigger? You're not alone. Millions of people share that same desire, and the good news is, there's a powerful way to turn that yearning into a fulfilling reality.

In this episode of Coffee with Conrad, we dive deep into the concept of sowing the Word of God and reaping a harvest of faith. Conrad Rocks, your host, explains how you can become a co-laborer with God, partnering with the divine to spread the message of love and hope.

Imagine the Word of God as a seed, bursting with potential.

Just like a seed needs fertile ground to grow, God's word needs receptive hearts to take root and flourish. As Christians, we are entrusted with the incredible opportunity to sow these seeds, to share the Gospel with others, and witness the transformative power of faith.

The podcast explores the concept of Rhema and Logos, two sides of the same coin. Rhema is the personal, spoken word you receive directly from God, a nudge in the right direction or a message specifically meant for you. Logos is the written word, the Bible itself, the foundation of our faith. Both are essential for Christian growth.

Conrad unpacks the parable of the sower, a powerful story that highlights the importance of the seed, the sower, and the soil. The seed is the Word of God, the sower is you, and the soil represents the hearts of those you encounter. We learn that the seed may fall on different types of soil, and just like a farmer, we may not always see immediate results. But with faith and perseverance, we can trust that the Holy Spirit will nurture the seeds we sow, bringing about growth and fruitfulness in God's time.

This concept extends beyond simply sharing scripture. The podcast emphasizes the importance of using the gifts and talents God has bestowed upon you. Whether it's music, art, or simply a kind word, you can use these gifts to glorify God and inspire others.

By becoming a faithful sower and a wise steward of your gifts, you are actively participating in God's work. You are making a difference, one seed, one act of kindness at a time. The potential impact is truly exponential. As more and more hearts embrace the Gospel message, the harvest of faith ripples outward, touching countless lives.

So, dear friend, are you ready to answer the call? Are you ready to become a co-laborer with God? If you feel a nudge in your heart, a desire to step into your purpose, then this episode is for you. Grab a cup of coffee, tune in, and let Conrad Rocks ignite the fire of faith within you!

In addition to the podcast, be sure to check out the resources mentioned in the show:

Let's join hands, hearts, and voices, and together, let's cultivate a world overflowing with the fruits of faith. The harvest is plentiful, and the time to sow is now!

From Spinning Plates to Sowing Seeds - Be fruitful for the Kingdom not just busy

Living a Life of Kingdom Purpose

Do you ever feel like you're just spinning plates?

Rushing from one task to another, putting out fires, yet not moving closer to your kingdom calling? As followers of Christ, we're commissioned to bear fruit and make disciples. Yet it's so easy to get caught up in busyness rather than purposeful building of God's kingdom.

In the podcast "From Spinning Plates to Sowing Seeds," Conrad challenges us to shift from a mentality of checking tasks off a list to one focused on leaving a legacy. What if we evaluated our activities not based on urgency but rather their capacity to nurture our faith and serve others?

Jesus' parable of the sower illustrates that seeds landing on good soil multiply exponentially. As Conrad explains, "We need to find receptive hearts to sow the seed of the gospel into." This begins with building relationships, creating safe spaces for spiritual conversations to unfold. Rather than a transactional gospel sharing, we must invest in people, watering the seeds planted in their lives.

Conrad reminds us "the goal is to multiply believers who will in turn sow seed into others." Discipleship is a relay race where we pass the baton we've been handed to up-and-coming runners. Imagine the generational impact if we poured into mentees with the seriousness of Paul's investment in Timothy!

What might it look like for you to shift toward a kingdom mindset this week? Could you have an iron-sharpening talk with a spiritually hungry friend? Is there a new believer you could begin walking alongside in deeper ways? small acts, when multiplied by the Spirit, birth big change.

The time we've been given is precious. May we steward it well for the sake of the King and His coming kingdom. The fields are ripe for harvest–let's prayerfully sow kingdom seeds today.

Reach God Through the Storm - Tap Into the Spirit Realm

Hearing God's Voice Above the Storm

When life throws you a curveball, do you struggle to hear God's guidance through the anxious chaos in your mind? You're not alone.

Many of us instinctively turn to prayer in difficult times, desperately seeking answers and direction. But amidst the inner turmoil, God's voice can feel drowned out.

What if I told you there's a secret to breaking through the barriers of your racing thoughts to clearly connect with God's Spirit? A way to tap into the realm where prayers are powerfully answered and miracles unfold?

In this podcast, you'll discover:

Why Intellect-Driven Prayer Falls Short

When consumed by a heavy problem, it's natural to immediately begin praying for a solution or relief. But caught in the storm of your carnal mind, it's easy for your petitions to feel ineffective.

As the Apostle Paul explains, our earthly understanding is limited when it comes to spiritual matters. While praying intellectually has its place, reasoning and analysis can only take you so far.

The Power of Praying in the Spirit

In contrast, praying in the Spirit enables a deeper connection with God that transcends intellectual constraints.

By surrendering all distractions and attachments to outcomes, you open yourself up to be guided by the Spirit. This is where true revelation flows.

As you commune with the Holy Spirit, you gain access to divine wisdom, direction, and intervention that logic alone cannot attain. Miracles happen in this spiritual realm.

Cultivating Sensitivity to God's Voice

Hearing God's voice above your inner chaos takes practice, especially when emotions run high.

Seasons of stability are crucial for developing intimacy with the Holy Spirit, so His voice becomes unmistakable when storms hit.

As you continually pray in the Spirit, you'll gain discernment to know you've connected to the biblical God, not misleading spirits.

Testimonies to Inspire Breakthrough

From making rent to getting groceries when funds ran out, I've experienced God break through to provide in response to urgent prayers aligned with His Spirit.

While intellect-driven prayer has its place, I've found accessing the spiritual realm the most powerful way to experience God's intervention.

I want to encourage you to explore this realm for yourself. As you make the shift to Spirit-led prayer, expect new levels of breakthrough!

Speaking to Your Mountain - Bold Declarations of Faith!

Speaking to your Mountain

In Mark 11:21-26, we find an often-misinterpreted and misapplied passage about the power of our words and the faith to back them up. Specifically, Jesus tells his disciples that if they speak to a mountain, telling it to be lifted up and thrown in the sea, it will happen for them.

The "Name It and Claim It" Crowd

Of course, this verse gets pulled out of context by the "Name It and Claim It" prosperity gospel folks. They focus only on the part about speaking to mountains, forgetting the sandwich bread - which is having faith in God first and operating in forgiveness second. They want to "name and claim" cars, houses, and bling without any thought of delighting in and having faith in God.

Missing the "Have Faith in God" Part

Jesus begins this teaching by pointing back to the fig tree that he had cursed, which then withered. He tells them in verse 22 to "Have faith in God." Our faith and expectations must be grounded in who God is and what God can do. But the New Age movement grabs verses like this and teaches people they can become their own "god" and manifest their will by the power of their words. They leave out the vital component - keeping our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

Forgiveness Activates God's Power

The other half of the "faith sandwich" that gets left out is forgiving others. Jesus says in verse 25 that when we stand praying, we should forgive anyone we're holding something against. Unforgiveness blocks prayers and our ability to walk fully in kingdom authority. Simply being mad at your mother-in-law will not empower you to curse mountains! We have to walk free from offense and bitterness if we want to see supernatural results.

So next time you hear someone quoting the "mountain-moving" verse, ask them about the bread. Are they delighting in God first and operating in forgiveness second? The right heart posture activates the promise and brings breakthrough! Let's speak God's Word over our obstacles today.

Thomas Dabney Tannehill - Testimony for Jesus

The Power of Testimony: One Man's Journey from the Occult to Salvation in Jesus Christ

Testimonies of faith have the power to inspire, convict, and spur spiritual growth. In this accompanying blog post for the Coffee with Conrad podcast episode featuring Thomas Dabney Tannehill's powerful testimony, we'll explore key themes surrounding his journey from occult practices and drug addiction to experiencing new life in Christ.

Here is the original Facebook Live

Dabbling in the Occult Opens Doors to Darkness

Like many young people, Thomas was exposed to occult practices like using Ouija boards and tarot cards from a young age. Little did he know the dangers of opening doorways to the demonic realm. The occult should be avoided by believers, as it gives the enemy a foothold (Eph. 4:27). Thomas also experienced poltergeist activity in his home growing up.

Drug Use Leads Down Destructive Paths

Down the road, Thomas' involvement in Eastern religious practices, psychedelic drugs, and rock music sent his life into a tailspin. He had demonic encounters telling him to worship Satan while high on LSD. Drug use leads to addiction, poor choices, and dangerous consequences. Seeking enlightenment or spirituality through substance abuse can open people up to darker forces.

Crying Out for Help in Your Darkest Hour

After a terrifying drug trip where Thomas saw his body convulsing and hordes of demons, he cried out to God for mercy. Though far from God, Thomas retained a flicker of faith from his religious upbringing. God hears our prayers even at our worst moments. When all seems lost, He provides hope.

Christian Fellowship Helps Restore the Lost

Just when he thought he was alone, Thomas encountered his old friend Mickey sharing the gospel. This divine appointment led to Mickey mentoring Thomas in his newfound faith, discipling him in God's Word, and providing a community of belief. Surrounding ourselves with strong believers helps us grow.

The Holy Spirit Illuminates Scripture

As Thomas read the Bible, its truths came alive by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Mere intellectual study is not enough. When we invite the Spirit to teach us, the Word transforms us. The Bible is the Spirit's sword (Eph. 6:17) to cut through lies and point us to godly living.

True Repentance Leads to Lasting Change

After failed attempts to clean up his own life, Thomas fully surrendered his heart and will to Christ. This repentance led to supernatural freedom as he turned from darkness and embraced the light. When we submit ourselves to God, He breaks sin's power. Our old self dies, and we become new creations in Him (2 Cor. 5:17).

The Journey May Be Slow But Progress Comes

Though saved, Thomas still stumbled at times on his spiritual walk. Sanctification is a process. The righteousness of Christ is gifted to believers, but living it out takes time. Thomas discovered the joys of forgiveness and getting back on the right path when he faltered. God's grace sustains us.

Testimonies Build Faith and Give Hope

By generously sharing his story, Thomas inspires us to cling to Jesus above all else and reach out into the darkness with Christ's love. Our testimonies matter―they build faith, give hope, and point others to the One who can set them free.

Pondering the Parables of Jesus - Portals of Revelation

The parables of Jesus

have captivated audiences for centuries. These simple yet profound stories are packed with spiritual wisdom and revelation. In this podcast episode, we explore how pondering the parables can unlock hidden insights to transform your spiritual walk.

Jesus used parables for several key reasons.

The vivid imagery grabs people's attention and draws them into the narrative. Parables connect on an emotional level, making complex concepts relatable. They provoke deeper reflection as Jesus challenged societal norms. Most importantly, parables are accessible to all, regardless of background. The stories resonate across culture, education level, and time.

A major benefit of parables is that they stick with you. Even if you only recall the essence, that seed can sprout revelation. Pondering parables while away from your Bible allows you to approach them with fresh eyes. Without preconceived notions, you're free to explore the truths from new angles. This is when the Spirit rushes in, bringing sudden clarity and congruent understanding.

As you meditate on parables, they become a mirror. You see yourself reflected in the stories, which challenges your beliefs and values. This introspection is key, but parables must align with scriptural truths. They complement the Word, offering perspectives on eternal truths. With the Word as your foundation, the Spirit has ample ammunition to guide you into deeper revelation.

When you abide in the Word, you recognize Jesus' voice through the Spirit's guidance. This transforms you, as pondering the parables renews your mind. If you want to ignite your faith, listen to this podcast and start unlocking the hidden treasures within Christ's profound parables.

Let the parables of Jesus refresh your spiritual walk. Subscribe to the podcast and check the show notes for more resources to dig deeper into God's Word. Keep seeking the Savior through prayerful pondering and meditation.

Bystander Syndrome in the Church - Why We're Failing the Great Commission

Bystander syndrome is rampant in Christianity today,

leading to a diffusion of responsibility when it comes to evangelism and fulfilling the Great Commission. Research shows that 78% of people come to Christ through relationships with family and friends, not church programs. Yet many believers fall prey to excuses like "I'm too busy" or "I don't feel qualified."
All followers of Jesus are called to share the gospel - not just pastors or those with the "gift" of evangelism. It's time to overcome fear and bystander syndrome to become bold witnesses for Christ! Souls hang in the balance.

Key Statistics:

- Only 31% of victims are helped when 5+ bystanders are present in an emergency (bystander effect)
- Most Christians cite relationships as their reason for faith, not church programs
- Only a few said a minister's preaching led to their salvation
- If each Christian leads 1 person to Christ per year, church growth can double!

Common Objections to Evangelism:

- "I'm too busy"
- "I don't feel qualified"
- Fear of rejection
- "I'll offend someone"
- "I don't have the gift of evangelism"
- "I'll share my faith when I feel led to"

Overcoming Excuses:

- Pray for open doors and courage
- Write out your testimony
- Practice sharing your story with Christian friends
- Stay alert to divine opportunities
- Offer to pray for people
- Focus on meeting felt needs first
- Change topics if they aren't interested
- Remember - souls hang in the balance!

Testimonies:

- Alcoholic now sober after compassion
- Deaf man healed after shouting gospel
- Homeless man becomes preacher

Take action! The harvest is plentiful. Embrace your call to share the gospel - lives depend on it!

WorldWide Deception - Cultivating Discernment for Our Times

Guarding Against Deception: Staying Rooted in God's Truth

Deception seems to be everywhere lately. False prophets, fake news, doctrinal drifts – it’s enough to make your head spin! As followers of Jesus Christ, we must be vigilant against spiritual trickery that aims to draw us off the narrow path.

In this eye-opening episode of Coffee with Conrad, Conrad explores discernment in the midst of widespread deception. He examines Scripture passages warning of end times deception, like Matthew 24:24 and 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11. Jesus and the apostles caution that even the faithful elect can be vulnerable to clever imposters.

Conrad also looks at real-world examples of massive deceptions, from the Piltdown Man hoax to crop circles. These compelling fakes fooled multitudes, demonstrating how the undiscerning can easily be misled. As Conrad asks, if scientists bought into Piltdown Man for 40 years, how much more are Christians susceptible to false doctrines?

To safeguard against deception, Conrad offers practical advice grounded in God’s Word:

  • Study Scripture regularly and meditate on it daily. Biblical literacy is self-defense against false teachings.
  • Rely on the Holy Spirit's guidance rather than worldly thinking. The Spirit leads us into all truth.
  • Scrutinize teachings by leaders against the Bible. Beware wolves in sheep's clothing even within the church.
  • Fix eyes firmly on Jesus Christ as the bedrock of truth when all else seems shaky.

Surrounded by a web of lies, Conrad encourages Christians to stay rooted in the life-giving truth of Scripture. With spiritual discernment and Christ at the center, we can walk the narrow path with confidence.

This podcast episode delivers an urgent wake-up call as well as empowering wisdom for navigating these deceptive times. Listen now to dig deeper into guarding against trickery!

The stakes are high, but God's eternal truth prevails. Stay anchored on the Rock of Ages!

Aliens or Demons? - Unmasking the Deception

Are Aliens Real or Are They Demons in Disguise?

The debate over whether aliens are real or if they are actually interdimensional demons is a fascinating one. In this latest episode of Coffee with Conrad, we dive deep into this discussion from all angles. Looking at historical examples, personal experiences, and biblical theories, this episode explores both sides of the debate over whether alien encounters throughout history could really be manifestations of demonic entities.

Compelling Historical Examples of “Ancient Aliens”

UFO and ancient alien theorists often point to many remarkable examples in antiquity that supposedly demonstrate advanced extraterrestrial contact. These include:

- The elaborate Nazca Lines in Peru which resemble airport runways when viewed from the sky. Erich von Daniken claimed these massive geoglyphs were built for aliens to see from their spacecraft.

- The Book of Ezekiel’s vivid description of fantastical wheeled creatures and beings, advanced technology and a glowing humanoid figure. Some believe this describes an ancient alien encounter.

- The Dropa Stones - circular stones with tiny hieroglyphs found in Chinese caves supposedly telling the story of an alien crash landing thousands of years ago.

- The sarcophagus lid of King Pakal at Palenque, showing Pakal in a craft that looks like a spacecraft. However, mainstream experts say it just depicts Pakal’s journey to the underworld.

- Vimanas - flying vehicles and spacecraft described in Hindu Sanskrit epics, claimed by some to be evidence of ancient alien technology.

- The Bayankara Ula discs found in China with hieroglyphics supposedly describing an extraterrestrial crash and technology. Most experts believe these were an archeological hoax from the 1930s.

- Prehistoric cave paintings in Italy thought to depict ancient astronauts, but more likely ceremonial costumes and masks.

- Temple carvings in Malta claimed to be aliens and spacecrafts. Contested by archaeologists as religious symbols.

Remarkable Overlaps Between Alien Abductions and Demonic Encounters

- Sleep paralysis and immobilization of victims is common to both phenomena.

- Both tend to occur at night when people are in bed asleep.

- Levitation or out-of-body sensations frequently reported during events. I personally experienced this during night terrors.

- Sexual molestation, reproductive experimentation and fetal harvesting themes emerge in both sets of accounts. Echoes Biblical Nephilim theories.

- Experiences described as deeply terrifying despite any friendly outward appearances. The true nature seems masked.

- Missing time, confusion, and memory loss frequently reported afterward.

- Unexplained injuries, marks or scars on bodies after events.

- Interest in controlling thoughts, beliefs and understanding.

Biblical Support for the Theory of Aliens As Deceitful Demons

Several Bible verses lend credence to the idea that demonic entities could be posing as technologically advanced aliens:

- Revelation 12 discusses Satan and his angels being cast out of Heaven down to Earth, providing a means to manifest as aliens.

- 2 Corinthians 11:14 says Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light, so a deceitful alien appearance is possible.

 - Ephesians 2:2 refers to Satan as the prince of the power of the air. This implies demons could have the means to masquerade as spacecraft and aliens.

- The Nephilim of Genesis 6 could provide a motive for demons to technologically manipulate humanity’s reproduction and sexuality.

Insights from My Personal Supernatural Experiences

As someone who suffered from extremely vivid night terrors and sleep paralysis as a child, I recognize many similarities to modern alien abduction accounts. The paralyzing dread, levitation, missing time, and unexplained physical effects all echo reported extraterrestrial encounters. Studying this phenomenon made me realize that aliens could, in fact, be shape-shifting demonic entities deploying an elaborate deception.

Interview with Moonwalker Charlie Duke

During this podcast episode, I shared an interview clip with Apollo 16 astronaut Charlie Duke explaining why he believes that aliens are not extraterrestrial but rather “demonic beings.” As a NASA moonwalker, Duke contends that nothing humans have created could perform the maneuvers UFOs seem to display. Therefore, he concludes that “alien” spacecraft must represent demonic deceptions designed to distract humanity from God.

Lack of Credible Evidence from SETI

No scientifically valid signal or contact with intelligent alien life has ever been confirmed by SETI or any other astronomical organization. This absence of hard evidence for real extraterrestrials lends more credence to the theory that “aliens” could be deceptive spiritual entities rather than actual beings from other planets.

Conclusion

While legitimate extraterrestrial life may theoretically exist somewhere in the vast cosmos, the available evidence suggests that alien visitations to Earth are more likely to be deceiving demons posing as technologically superior beings. Their goal seems to be to undermine humanity's relationship with God. Jesus Christ has given believers spiritual protection from these forces of darkness. As we analyze these mysteries, we must test the spirits, ground ourselves in scripture, and avoid preconceived biases. The truth is out there, but we must be vigilant not to be deceived.

Theology with PI AI - - Unleashing the Power of Technology in Theological Conversations

Spirit-Led Evangelism: Insights from an AI Conversation

I recently had a fascinating dialogue with an AI assistant named Pi about the topic of spirit-led evangelism. We dove deep into what it means to authentically follow the leading of the Holy Spirit when sharing the gospel.

Here are some key insights from our conversation:

  • Using AI for theological dialogue with caution - I discussed priming the AI and verifying anything unfamiliar it claims, since AI can sometimes be wrong or "hallucinate" answers. We must confirm new information learned from AI against Scripture and other sources.
  • Why apologetics alone doesn't always reach people's hearts - We discussed how intellectual arguments, while important, often fail to resonate emotionally with people. As Conrad shared from his own experience, it took a real spiritual encounter with Jesus to change his life.
  • The power of miracles and spiritual experiences - Miracles can prepare people's hearts for the gospel by demonstrating God's power. We are meant to follow the Spirit's leading in ministry, not just rely on techniques.
  • Developing intimacy with God through prayer walks - Having a deep relationship with God is foundational for hearing His voice. Prayer walking retraces the steps of biblical figures like Enoch who walked closely with God.
  • Learning to discern God's voice - Discernment grows as we become familiar with Scripture and exercise our spiritual senses. We must learn to recognize the Holy Spirit's voice.
  • Biblical examples like David and Jesus' practices - Both spent extended alone time with God in prayer and worship. We too must prioritize seeking God.
  • Stepping out in faith to share God's love - Even when afraid, we are called to evangelize out of obedience and God will meet us. Loving others reflects God's heart.
  • Making seeking God our first priority - We must put intimacy with God before all else. As we do, He will move in amazing ways.

This rich conversation unpacked so many profound concepts around deepening our connection to God and following His leading. My biggest takeaway is the reminder that evangelism flows out of relationship. It's not about methods or techniques. May we passionately pursue knowing Jesus more, abiding in Him, and sharing His love from that place.

Please take the time to listen to the full podcast episode! There were so many more insights that I wasn't able to capture here. Our AI friend Pi asked thoughtful questions that stimulated much reflection. I'm thankful for how technology can help us gain new perspective on timeless biblical truths.

Show Notes:

- Defining "divine health" and what it means to Christians;
- Looking at Exodus 15:26 - obeying God's commands leads to health;
- Matthew 18:32-34 - unforgiveness can lead to sickness;

- Going through listener comments and feedback on Facebook;
- The story of John G. Lake's miraculous healing during the plague;

- Conclusion - pray for healing but understand it's not an absolute guarantee;
- Encouragement to walk in humility and faithfulness;
