The Exodus from the Church: A Deep Dive into the Reasons

Church Exodus: Uninspired Sermons’ Impact As a regular blogger, I've been pondering on a pressing issue that's been bothering me and many others - the increasing number of people leaving the church. This concern has led me to reflect on the role of pastors who, week after week, are expected to deliver sermons, regardless of whether they've received divine inspiration or not. This often results in uninspired sermons, a symptom of a larger problem within the contemporary church. My blog reaches readers worldwide, including regions where Christians face persecution and even death for their faith. These brave individuals, who proclaim Christ despite the risk, have my utmost respect. Their stories, which I occasionally share on Twitter, serve as a humbling reminder of the real essence of Christianity. The crux of the matter is that many churches today are not fulfilling their intended purpose. They are not adhering to the teachings of the Bible. How often have you read the Bible...

The Truth About Bible Choppers: Exposing the Twisting of Scripture

The Truth About Bible Choppers: Exposing the Twisting of Scripture Scripture Manipulation  Are you tired of people misusing and twisting Bible verses to suit their own selfish desires? As a passionate believer in the Word of God, I've witnessed too many so-called "Bible choppers" taking scriptures out of context, ignoring crucial elements, and manipulating their meaning for personal gain. In this post, I'll shed light on this dangerous practice and provide you with the tools to identify and combat it. Bible choppers love to cherry-pick verses like John 14:13-14, focusing solely on the phrases "whatsoever" and "anything" while conveniently ignoring the conditions of asking "in My name" and "that the Father may be glorified." This tactic is straight out of Satan's playbook, as he twisted Scripture to tempt Jesus in Matthew 4:6-7, taking verses out of cont...

The Shocking Truth About Faith That Will Rock Your World

Faith Revelation: How to Walk on Water Today I want to share a powerful revelation about faith that can help you overcome any storm in your life. In the video, I broke down the famous Bible story of Peter walking on water toward Jesus. This incredible account holds the keys to activating true, miracle-working faith.  You see, it's not enough to just know about Jesus intellectually. Knowing Bible stories is one thing, but truly knowing Jesus intimately is something altogether different. Jesus said in Matthew 7:21-23 that many will profess to know Him, but He will respond "I never knew you." Yikes! We can't just know about the Lord - we must cultivate a deep, personal relationship with Him. That starts by recognizing and obeying His voice. Just like the sheep know the voice of their shepherd in John 10, we must be able to discern Jesus' voice above all others. When He speaks a word of instruction or promise to us, that's where real faith begins. Peter understood...

Christ Versus Christians: A Call to Authentic Discipleship

Image
Observing Christians in the Digital Age In today's digital age, I often find myself scrolling through social media, watching the comment threads, observing how fellow believers interact with the world around them. And I have to be honest — it's disheartening. The divide between what I read in my Bible and what I see in my news feed grows wider by the day. I don't write this as someone who has it all figured out. I write as a fellow traveler, a brother in the faith who has had to look in the mirror more times than I care to admit and ask: Am I really representing Christ, or am I just wearing His name? The term "Christian" literally means "Christ-like." But if we are honest — brutally, prayerfully honest — many of us bear little resemblance to the One whose name we carry. There is a stark contrast between the teachings of Jesus Christ as recorded in the Gospels and the actions of many Christians today. This post is my personal reflection on that dispar...

How Guy Fawkes Nearly Changed the Course of Biblical History

Image
Guy Fawkes, the Gunpowder Plot (1605), and How God Preserved the King James Bible (KJV What if the King James Bible—the most influential English Bible ever printed in the English tongue—almost never made it into the hands of the people? That is the thought that hit me when I first began putting the dates together. I had known about Guy Fawkes. I had known about the fifth of November. I had known that King James authorized the Bible translation that was published in 1611. But when I realized that Guy Fawkes and his co-conspirators were trying to kill King James in 1605, right in the window when the translation work was underway, it made me stop and ponder the providence of God. This was not just a political assassination attempt. This was a moment where the plans of men could have collided with the spreading of the Word of God in a way that would have affected generations. "The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none ef...

Why I Engage with Atheists: A Christian’s Perspective

Image
I dialogue with atheists. That may sound strange coming from a devout Christian. Some believers hear that and immediately wonder if I am flirting with unbelief, compromising the faith, or wandering away from the path of righteousness. But that is not what is happening. When I engage with atheists, especially in places like Twitter where ideas move fast and questions get asked bluntly, I am not looking for a way out of following Jesus. I am looking for a way to let the light of Jesus shine in a place where honest questions are already being asked. I have learned that atheists are often not lazy thinkers. Many of them have wrestled with theology, pain, hypocrisy, science, philosophy, and the Bible itself. Some can quote more scripture than church people. Some have read deeply because they are searching, even if they would never use that word. And when someone is willing to ask hard questions, I do not believe Christians should run from that conversation. Fear says, “Avoid them.” Faith...
